Posting little late as i finally got time to share my view... Went for my birthday with a group of 9 and i had a high expectation in terms of food and service and it was excellent. Greeted by hostess and wished me happy birthday while they were making some adjustments to my table, my table was giant, chandelier was nice japanese style, lighting was warm and i liked the big table as i always like to order lots of food with no budget at all, Server greeted us with smile and explained the drinks menu first took our drinks order and then gave us a food menu which also explained in english as some of the words were in japanese. Drinks came on time and food wise some appetizers came on time and some took way longer which is fine as long as food kept On coming thats all matters to me and my guest. Main course was hot and every presentation of the food was impressive and photogenic. I Liked the big rock ice cube with the restaurant logo on it. I ordered every dessert they had on menu and all of them were amazing. The only thing is i was expecting atleast 1 dessert complimentary since i spend $3000 and ordered everything on the menu that could have been a nice touch... order includes 2 sushi basket/platter where each sushi is $7-$10 so be careful when you buy sushi platter without looking at the price. We had two vegetarian guest and they were satisfied very well as the restaurant also had lots of options for vegetarians and other dietary needs. I've been to several Nobu locations. I think it's worth the hype. I tried the black cod miso and I must say it was perfection! $48 and it was half my meal. I just ordered a bunch of pieces and a roll and escaped with a bill around $100 (no alcohol). All sushi lovers should try Nobu at least once. read more

We've visited NOBU locations all over, and this one definitely held its own. Michael at the bar was phenomenal--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. His service was truly top-notch. The cocktails were outstanding. The Sidecar was perfectly balanced, and the Old Fashioned was one of the best we've had in a long time. For a quick bite, we ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll, which was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. Between the delicious food, expertly crafted cocktails, exceptional service, and warm atmosphere, this NOBU exceeded our expectations. I did not enjoy this location. I tried the Nobu Sidecar which is my go to drink at most Nobu locations. When I tried it, I immediately noticed something was wrong so I inquired about the ingredients. Apparently, this location doesn't use Toki whiskey. I asked the bartender, Jonah, to swap it out the whiskey and he said he would have to charge me for the existing drink and charge me for the new drink. I think thats bad customer service considering this location doesnt align with the Nobu standard for their own drinks. I won't be back. read more

Found the restaurant as we walked inside the Cesar Palace casino. The restaurant was dark inside. We were super impressed with both cocktails. Strong and only got a slight taste of alcohol at the end. Originally was only gonna get drinks and go, but the service was amazing. We decided to try their handrolls, too. All hand rolls were good but not great. We have had better rolls in California with crisp seaweed. Definitely will go back for the drinks. read more

I visited on 10/08/25, with a couple of friends. The food was exceptional (both the sushi/sashimi, and the hot dishes). Our waitress was extremely friendly, and the cocktail I had was quite enjoyable (although the monogrammed ice cube was a touch over the top). The atmosphere/decor was fine, but nothing particularly special. This is my only real knock (if I could give 4.5 stars, I would), but at this price point, everything would have to be perfect for 5 stars. I would return, but I'd rather experience another of Nobu location instead, to see any differences. read more

We were excited to try NOBU at Caesars and went all in for the Omakase and sake. It started off okay with sashimi and one very upsetting mackerel dish but went downhill. They brought us fries tofu with soy and spicy tuna, the server left it, but then came back a few minutes later to tell us this wasn't ours. They brought it to another table. The next two courses were a giant pile of what seems like firecracker shrimp. Very PF Changs style and smothered in mayo. Then a huge piece of candied Cod fish. Both were so odd and not great. We ended the Omakase there. The staff was amazing though and brought us the dish that was removed earlier (not great) and more sake as a make good for the meal. Overall, cool environment and great staff. Would not recommend the Omakase at nearly $200/pp. read more

Listen, it's Nobu so you know what you're getting into, and don't get me wrong, it's not like there is anything *wrong* with it, but for what it is and the price point, there are just so many better, local places to go. There really wasn't anything that I tried that I couldn't find at a really good sushi restaurant, and while it was good, there wasn't anything in particular that wowed. Except! I can't deny it, the Miso Black Cod was fantastic. It's easy to see how that dish alone launched the whole franchise. Just a beautiful, delicious fish in a perfect sauce for it. If you go to Nobu, my recommendation is to get a couple drinks, some yellowtail and the Miso Black Cod and call it a night. To me that's really the only thing that you can't get better somewhere else. read more

We decided to come because they had a Coolinary menu, although once we got there we didn't eat off it at all. We didn't really look at the main menu prior to coming so asked our waitress for recommendations and she definitely gave us some good ones. We started with the tiradito with scallops. They weren't as thick/whole as we expected, but it was still really good flavor. Next we had the Rock Shrimp Tempura and I appreciated that they let us do it with all 3 sauces on the side. We also had the bluefin Sashimi. The fish was very good and I'm glad we tried it. We were still hungry so we then decided to get the crispy rice with spicy tuna. This was our least favorite thing. The tuna was not spicy at all and was wayyy too much like a paste. Last we did the beef skewers which were super tender. We did 3 different cocktails and liked all of them as well. Service was great even though it was a little loud in the restaurant. Bottom line, similar to others, I'm glad we tried this and had the experience but there are other places in the city at a similar price point where I would have rather we spent the money. read more

I have come back with another visit to this slice of Japanese paradise in Nola. I sat at the bar and started off with the tea pot portion of sake. I cannot remember the name, but I allowed the bartender to choose my option. He was able to explain the flavor profiles and offer an option that was flowery and smooth and met my satisfaction. Similar to the other drinks, not enough to feel a hard buzz, but enough to take the edge off. The Wagyu tacos come with a hefty price tag of $18 per taco and 2 taco minimum, and you can eat them in one large bite probably...but they were incredibly delicious, tender and flavorful and I wanted 5 more!! I think this is an item that made Nobu stand out to me as a restaurant! The black cod miso was the most delicate, buttery and smooth piece of fish I think I've ever had. The flavor profile was perfectly balanced with a sweet edge. It is 100% worth the social media hype. This is another menu item that makes Nobu stand out amongst other dining restaurants, and I would recommend everyone try. The soft shell crab sushi was nice. It's not something I would order again as long as I have other things to try on the menu, however I was satisfied to have tried. I think you can get some amazing soft shell crab sushi at a number of sushi places in Nola so this wasn't unique for me. Now for the item that surprised me the most, my nightcap, the Negroni! Omg it was sooo delicious and I don't think I've ever had a Negroni. Nobu adds a twist to their Negroni by adding Saki. I've always wanted to go to Nobu. Once I heard that one had recently opened in New Orleans and I was headed there soon, I knew this was my chance. First of all, the restaurant is beautiful and everything is cohesive from the decor to the staff uniforms. The colors and textures throughout the place are beautiful, even though it's located in Caesars Casino. My waiter was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, you could tell he enjoys his job. He made some suggestions and answered my questions. I ordered the famous Black Cod with Miso, Lobster Taco and a Wagyu Beef Taco. The Black Cod is a signature item that has been marinated in miso and sake for days. The outside of the fish is almost caramelized while the inside of the fish was unbelievably buttery and flavorful. The lobster Taco was very good and fresh but the Wagyu Taco was exceptional I could have sat there and ate 20 more. Each taco had its own special sauce to complement the protein. The tacos are very small but the fish is a hearty portion. I was satisfied. I want to also mention that towards the back of the restaurant there is an open kitchen. I love an open kitchen, you can watch them prepare the food! Based on my experience I would certainly recommend for special occasions, it's gonna cost a good coin!! read more

Woooo. Nobu in New Orleans is one of the better locations I've been to. Pricy, but the food is delicious. Friendly and efficient service. Everyone was very knowledgeable of the menu and offerings. It was a bit loud but to be expected since it is located inside of a casino. I wish they would have had more mocktail options but the two that they had were very good and my dude enjoyed his specialty cocktails. Crispy okra - this was standard but the batter was just as described, crispy. Scallop tiradito - this dish was bright, the scallops were buttery and probably my favorite of the night. Toro Nola ($94) - this was a special and came with 6 spoons. I didn't ask for the price when they told me about it so I was a bit shook when I saw the price on the receipt. Lol. But honestly, it wasn't a big shock since the spoons came topped with caviar and gold flakes. I wish they would have offered them by the spoon bc it was too many for just the two of us. Sea bass - came with truffle but wasn't overwhelmingly truffley like other dishes I've had before. The fish was flaky and cooked well. Lamb chops ($24/chop) - overcooked. We asked for medium rare and it came out well done. I didn't eat it, but my guy said it was okay for being well. Eggplant miso - I love eggplant and this dish came out piping hot. It's different than their black cod miso bc it's obviously their vegetarian version, but it comes with a spicy version of the miso paste. It was perfectly cooked. Desserts were the star of the whole dinner. We ordered 4 desserts and every single one was a hit. Matcha ice cream, which seems really basic but was delicious. Cappuccino miso. A dessert sando with kiwi and cream filling and soursop shiso sorbet on the side. The soursop sorbet was so good and I would just order a cup of that if I could. Our last dessert was so cute. We had a truly pleasant experience at Nobu last night. The experience was luxurious, grown, and sexy. We made reservations and walked to the location from our hotel. Our waitress was very accommodating and information. We tried a variety of different options on the menu but my favorites were: Crispy Fish Tacos, Scallops (raw but prepared), and the Green salad with Sliced Black Truffles. This was an amazing experience and we enjoyed it tremendously. It is a little pricey and lends toward that high-end experience but even bite is a food adventure worth savoring and experiencing even if it is just once. Service is amazing! We had reservations and were quickly seated once we arrived. The waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. We were celebrating a birthday weekend and opted for the chef's choice of menu items. We were served about 9 courses and then dessert. It was a mixture of fish, crispy okra to start, beef, and crab. For two people with a 20% gratuity, our bill was almost $500 and only one alcoholic beverage was ordered which was their signature Old Fashioned. We dine out at many places often and I can honestly say it is very much overpriced and overrated. While it was tasty and the service was impeccable, I've had better for far less. For context, we dined at La Boca Steak restaurant with 3 cocktails, 4 sides, 4 steaks, and an appetizer (4 people dining) and our bill was $200 less with gratuity than it was at Nobu last night. Lastly, there were limited restrooms that weren't that clean. There were 2 unisex single restrooms and always a line and a wait to use them. There was nothing special mentioned regarding the birthday and were asked a ton of questions about preferences such as exquisite taste like octopus or scallops and we didn't receive any in our chef's selections. I honestly don't recall all the items we had but it certainly didn't seem like $500 worth. I'm open to going back and trying some other items that we select. By the way, in celebration for his birthday, La Boca gave us the dessert on the house. There was also a period of time when we weren't attended to but I can honestly say the food kept coming and it was all very good. read more

First time trying Nobu- really only tried for all the hype. Would I return? Absolutely not other than for the Black Cod Miso Place was packed, service was great! The sauce was drool worthy Next was crispy rice with tuna, we've had this particular dish at a local establishment in Nashville and expected the same at Nobu, unfortunately it lacked any type of flavor particularly the tuna. This was a big letdown Rock shrimp as an appetizer rather than main dish. It was ok, sauce was good, although nothing outstanding, it's like something from I'd eat at Cheesecake Factory Spicy seafood soup- lord not sure what the kitchen was thinking with this one. The seafood portion was ok, but the broth was straight up kitchen faucet water. No flavor, no spice, just bland fishy water. This was horrible and would absolutely NOT recommend!! Vegetable spicy garlic dish was good, spicy with lots of flavor, consisted of cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms. Yet again nothing special, I would have expected uniqueness to this dish Now the best for last: The Black Cod with Miso, Holy Moly, now I know the hype-this dish was phenomenal, we gobbled every morsel on this plate. It's just that good. If and I say IF we visit another Nobu, it would be for this dish alone. For a party of 4 we spent $250 for everything, not bad considering how much we ordered. I love the interior design of this location. Every single detail was well thought out. It's one of the most beautiful restaurants we have in Nola. The service was top notch. The staff was super knowledgeable about the menu and they were very pleasant. The food was amazing. We had the yellow tail jalapeño which never misses! The fish is so fresh and tender and the sauce has layers of citrus and spicy flavor. We also had tiradito. It was my first time trying this and I'm so glad I got it. It was really good. The flavors were pretty complex on this one. We had the crispy rice and spicy tuna. That was really good. My goodness. You won't have anything similar at another restaurant. The flavors in this little combo were perfectly layered. We had the rock shrimp with spicy sauce. Another hit. The shrimp were fried perfectly and the sauce was spicy and creamy but not overpowering. We had the miso black cod. The fish was so flaky and soft. It damn near melted in my mouth. The crust on the sear perfect. And last but definitely not least we had the wagyu dumplings. This was probably my favorite thing. The wagyu was so tender and so flavorful. And the sauce it sat on top perfectly complemented the dumplings. And of course I had a lychee martini. Vomiting was induced immediately after tasting the food. I'm going to avoid this restaurant the food is toxic. I became violently ill after eating there. I'm going to have a hard time eating there again, I'm assured that all their food is tainted. I can't stand the sight of the restaurant, its plates etc. My discomfort dining here can help others avoid the expense of an evening in the ER. Nobu is an upscale/fine dining restaurant chain with locations in LA, Vegas, Miami, New York, that being said, it's very exciting that New Orleans finally gets a Nobu location! I had never eaten here, but I had heard great news about it and was super excited to get the opportunity to eat here. I wish I got more pictures, but I'm sure you can find them on here. To begin, the interior of the restaurant is incredibly beautiful! Very dark, quiet and intimate feeling. The service was incredible, and very detailed. Lots of descriptions of their popular dishes and their specials from the servers, they really know the menu! I am vegetarian so I'm rather limited on what I can order, however, they had plenty of vegetarian options and I only scratch the surface. If I come back, I definitely want to try some of their other options. That being said, I got the Shishido peppers, the roasted jalapeño cauliflower dish, and the bananas soy toban dessert. The roasted shishito peppers were delicious! They were covered with some miso sesame sauce, which was very savory and honestly I would've preferred that sauce on my cauliflower dish. The cauliflower, on the other hand, did not impress me sadly. It was $30 for a decent size portion, but the flavor was just not there. The sauce was too thin so it would barely make it onto any of the cauliflower, and the little that did make it on there didn't make much of a difference. The sauce was rather bland and didn't have that punching savory flavor. I was hoping for. But to be fair, I didn't ask the flavor profile of the dish, and there were no descriptions of it on the menu. It just said roasted jalapeño cauliflower. So it was a risk. But considering how good the Shishido peppers were, I was hoping that the cauliflower would be just as good. Unfortunately, a lot of fine dining restaurants can be hit or miss with the vegetarian food, and it reminded me of the cauliflower dish at Muriel's, which was also pretty underwhelming. But thankfully, some other restaurants are able to do a pretty good cauliflower or vegetarian dish. Anyway, what saved this or totally turned. My perspective around was a dessert. There were like eight or nine different desserts, they all had descriptions which looked and sounded mouthwatering and divine. I couldn't decide, but I love bananas, foster, there's not many places where you can get it, and I'm assuming that this is something only on the local menu Due to this location being a New Orleans location. They had the bananas soy Tobon, which seemed like a play on bananas, foster. It came with caramelized, bananas, candy, pecans, and Malaga ice cream. Honestly, it tasted very similar to bananas. Foster, the only difference is that there was a hint of a savory flavor in the caramel sauce, I'm assuming that they cooked it and some soy sauce along with the caramel/butter/sugar. The candy pecans were amazing, I always like some crunch in my bananas, foster, and the Malaga ice cream was so smooth and so delicious. I haven't had Malaga in a very long time so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but if I'm remembering correctly, I think it's rather mild/bland root vegetable kind of like taro or sweet potato. So the flavor went well with the bananas, it wasn't quite a vanilla, but it wasn't overpowering or unusual. It was very smooth and sweet. So overall, I loved it. My table mates got the bento box which was a flower chocolate cake with Matcha ice cream, it was good, but nothing crazy. And then my other table mate got the miso cappuccino, which had a great flavor profile, but was basically just miso chocolate/coffee ice cream with some candy nuts at the bottom. It was good, but I'm glad that I went with what I went with. The bananas soy toban checked Al the boxes! And it was only $16, so not bad! Can't wait to come back! Oh, and also, my table mate had gotten some type of dessert wine that the server recommended, I don't remember what it was called, but it was incredible! I don't remember it being too expensive, but it tasted so rich and smooth and sweet, it tasted like it had caramel and honey, and nectar in it, and you could barely taste the liquor. Nobu in New Orleans is finally open!! I went to check it out and it did NOT disappoint! There is a reason why Nobu is hyped up! Stand out items from my meal was the black cod with miso (1000% worth it and I will now order it every time I visit a Nobu!), yellowtail jalapeño, rock shrimp, and wagu tacos. Oh, and I can't forget about the lychee martini! Our waiter was exceptional and offered a lot of insight into the menu and offerings. I also loved how the inspo for the decoration of the restaurant is the Louisiana bayou! The ONLY thing I did not love was that you could see the casino floor through the restaurant. It's not obvious if you sit in certain sections of the restaurant, but I was sat in the area where you can see it. I did not knock off a star because the food is just that good! Hey, Hopes everyone is well that reads this review! Let's jump straight into my thoughts on NOBU and NY thoughts on the restaurant overall. Ambiance: This is a very cool and dim lit spot. It comes odd as a very intimate and "Chic" type of place. You know that you are going to spend some money soon as you walkthrough the spot. The chairs and table are very comfy. The smell of the sizzling foods that the waitresses and waitors brings out always get the attention! Very sexy and just laid back. Service: The service is really what you are paying for. This is the Reservations Spot! Meaning that you probably want to make reservations because bat this moment it is packed with RSVP parties to be honest. I did not see too many parties of people getting in without a reservation. I was a guest and came right on time so I was escorted to my table soon as I gave the party table name. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended things that were delicious to me and the party of folks I was there with. Our waitress made sure our water glasses were always filled. Beware though. They do try and pitch the "Distilled or Sparkling" for water options which is something you will be billed for. I later found out that they do offer regular tap water for my folks that doesn't want those options. The hot section foods came out hot and we were served our sushi rolls towards the end after eating the hot food. Its really different than what I am accostumed to. Food: The menu is divided by appetizers, hot, and cold sections. If you have a Mushroom allergy-Please play it safe at this restaurant. Many of these dishes contains mushrooms of some sort or they may be traces of the mushroom in the dish. Please state your allergies ahead of time so you won't have any allergic reaction to the food. I'm alive today, and my lip just was swollen for a bit but thats why its so important to get the allergies talk out the way before placing your order. I had got the spicy tuna rice. It was really different. The tuna was fresh and chopped in a bowl. The tempura rice square was different for me as well. I really didn't like the dish all together I kind of ate most of the chopped tuna. The hot dish I did was the Bake Snow Crab. It was okay. It tasted kind of grity with the sauce that was underneath the crab. It was not bad but I don't ever have to get those two dishes I ordered again. Then last but not least they brought out the cold sushi rolls towards the end. I ordered the spicy tuna rolls which was very fresh and good. Fresh tends to be the theme at this spot. You do pay extra to the roll to be cut into pieces just a little FYI! The dessert menu looked so good. I'm sad that I did not get any dessert. I reallynshould have sis the Plum Wine, Sushi Rolls and a dessert. Speaking of Plum wine. Last but not least the Plum wine was the highlight for me. Very refreshing and light for a plum wine. Its a NOBU product from their very own vineyard. This was everything to me. Food overall was MEH! When you spend big money you expect a certain savory experience that would get you to come back. I'm happy I had the opportunity to go here and if I come back I'm probably going to explore the sushi rolls and dessert more instead of the other experimental dishes. Everything smelled good and looked amazing but actually eating it didn't connect right. Its really that I had a high expectation of the tasting of the food before comimg and it didn't match out well once I git the chance to eat.
