She even double-checked they had the correct size before we drove there. She let the techs know we were on our way so that when we pulled in they met us in the parking lot. The guys helped us remove the spare, put the new tire on the rim, and helped us put the new tire on. We were done in less than twenty minutes! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. And the price was very reasonable. This is exactly what you want in a business. If I lived closer I'd buy all my tires from them!

He kept putting me off, saying he was 2 weeks behind. Finally he agreed to let me bring it on May 1, 2023. I called that morning and he wasn't in until 9 am. He called me back & said he was running behind could I wait till Wednesday & bring it. I did. Never heard a work so 5/19/23 I called to get status. His 'story' was he couldn't get parts, they were on backorder. Only parts needed were Power steering pump lines that were rotted and leaking and a transmission seal. I told him there are Internet websites where you can order parts. He says "yeah I know but they're on back order" (??). He was lying to me. I can tell when somebody is not being honest with me. So I had to go June 5th to get registration from glove box so I could send in the tax & license renewal. He still hadn't touched it. The glove box was messed up, not opening/closing right and covered in greasy hand/finger prints. I told him we really needed the car as both of us were sick and had so many appointments. He said the parts may be there on Wednesday. Surprisingly, he called me on Tues and said we could pick up the car. I went over the several things he had said was wrong and he said he had fixed all them. I picked the car up & he only charged $120. I asked him about the Glove Box not working right,, to which he replied " I don't know anything about the glove box, I was under the hood. The receipt he printed out said "repair transmission seal"...that's all. Got home and daughter noticed some serious scratches on the hood that was not there when we took it in. The entire time I worked with him on this car -over a month- he was rude, had an attitude and treated me like trash. It's like my money wasn't as good as somebody elses. I will never use him again and will tell everybody I know about his shoddy work and pissy attitude. He needs to hire somebody with a personality to manage his business and he needs to keep his head under somebody else's hood.

However, upper management and ownership handled the situation completely differently -- and that made all the difference. Ownership personally reached out and asked me to contact the sales manager. From that moment on, the experience was outstanding. The sales manager took full responsibility for the damage and arranged and paid for a professional paint correction to fix the issue. I was honestly blown away by the level of accountability and customer care. I expected pushback or excuses, but instead I received respect, professionalism, and a real solution. Mistakes happen, but what matters most is how a company responds. This team proved they truly care about their customers and their reputation. Especially when I had my catalytic heat shield replaced, first because I supplied my own parts. Many repair shops will not allow that. Second because they only charged me for 20 minutes of work. The damage unfortunately was pressing against the driver's side door and prevented me from opening the driver's side door. Therefore my car was out of commission until this repair was done. I really needed my car back fast. I called around to every bodyshop in a 60 mile radius from Frankfort KY. Everybody was booked. I mean booked up for over a month; some places were booked for 2 and 3 months. I've lived in Frankfort for 22 years. And I've only had to get bodywork done one other time many years ago. I took it to Dunn's Body Shop in Frankfort. They did great work on my Honda Odyssey. I called them first. They sadly are out of business now. So I called every shop in Frankfort, Lexington, Georgetown, and Lawrenceburg. One of the shops I called was Mr. Freeman at Freeman's Autobody in Frankfort KY. And he was the one who could get me in the soonest. He gave me an appt for Oct 23rd, which was the soonest anyone had told me. That's really why I chose him. I took the car to him and he gave me a very fair estimate for the repair, and that is precisely how much it ended up costing. The best thing about the Freeman shop is the quality of the work. You cannot tell that there was ever any damage to my car. It looks just like new. I will be taking all my body work to him in the future. The owner is Nate Freeman. He's a good guy. We googled closest tire repair shops and thankfully found this one. The guys there checked the pressure in all four tires and found a piece of plastic that was piercing one of them. They patched the tire at a very reasonable price and we were back on the road in no time. They were super nice and friendly and put our minds at ease that we could continue our trip and then head back home to Illinois - which we did - without further problems. They could have easily taken advantage of two women who aren't very knowledgeable about cars and screwed us around for hours or they could have charged a very high fee for their services. They did neither and we are grateful. While we waited for the repair we had a great conversation with the woman in the office who shared stories and pictures of the recent flood in KY. Truly wonderful, down to earth people at this place. I highly recommend this business.
