Baby Bre at her first vet visit

An amazing experience! Nobel Manes Cattery made this process nice and easy. The cats are beautifully taken care of, I loved visiting my little lady before take home day. The go home binder and boxes were well thought out and informative. You should not have any questions when you leave because of how thorough go home day is, but if you do have questions, response time is almost immediate. Such a great experience.

My fiancé and I had been discussing getting a kitten for a while, and after months of research I had fallen in love with Maine Coons. It was sometime in February that I started researching our options between breeders and adoption agencies and ended up reaching out to Noble Manes. We feel like we made the right choice and could not be happier. There are so many positive things I can say, so I'm attempting to make it easy to read with a bullet points of the values that mattered to me as a future cat parent. 1. REPUTABLE. This is a reputable cattery. TICA and CFA certified, which gave me confidence that this was not a profit maximizing kitten mill. In my search for Maine Coons I came across various sketchy agencies with questionable practices and loose breed definitions. There's a lot of misinformation or hidden information out there, and I really appreciated how transparent and open Daniel was about every single bit of his operation. 2. ETHICAL. This is partly an extension of the above. From the very first phone screen, and the fact that Daniel does a phone screen-- I knew his operation wasn't about moving kittens like inventory. He wants to know that his kittens are going to good homes. On visiting his cattery, it's apparent that the kittens are also very well cared for and loved. 3. CARING. Daniel obviously loves cats and loves the breed. I think this is important to note because it's his passion for the breed and the fact that he loves these cats so much that sets the quality bar so high for everything at Noble Manes. 4. WELL-SOCIALIZED. Our kitten, the kittens and cats we met at the cattery, and the kittens I'm reading reviews for are all well socialized and easily handled. Our kitten Dorian is comfortable being handled, carried, touched, and also loves to snuggle. It's not only such a joy, but makes things like brushing his teeth or cutting his nails way easier. 5. EXTRA-MILE. We lived an hour away from the cattery and also because of Covid, we couldn't get out to see Dorian in person more than once while we waited to bring him home. However, Daniel let us arrange WEEKLY FaceTimes with the kitten. He was and is always available to answer questions and cares about kitten progress updates. It doesn't matter that the adoption process is "done", he's still there for the kitten. He really goes the extra mile in making sure you have the support you need. 6. INFORMATIVE. You'll learn anything and everything you could ever want to know about Maine Coons and the Cattery. Daniel is happy to share. 7. VALUE. Yes, value. When you think of all of the support and services you get, plus the wonderful take home package that includes a personalized embroidered blanketed with momma cat's scent-- there's so much value here. The binder with all of his medical records, paperwork, etc is extremely organized and helpful for us now when we go to the vet too. You will go home happy, feeling like everything was worth it. With all the time, care, and expenses put into these kittens, it's hard for me to imagine he can turn a profit. It's really amazing. We love our Dorian, who is about 20 weeks old now. He loves to play everything from fetch to hide and seek, is curious about everything we do, and loves to spend time with us. He's curious about water and loves to hang out in the bath. He goes to bed and snuggles us awake in the mornings, sleeping soundly through the night. He's vocal and friendly, absolutely loves meeting new people! He is a terror when it comes to plants, but we're working on it. :) He's got a perfect temperament.

I love cats and I normally rescue, but... My last rescue turned out to be a MC mix and I fell in love with the breed! I started looking at pictures on Pinterest and IG, just to learn more. I discovered Noble Manes was not only in CA, but within driving distance. I called and talked Daniel's ear off one day, just asking about the breed. I fell in love with his big red boy, Graff, over IG. I asked if I could visit, just to see one in person. He was more than happy to share. I never really intended to buy one, I now had three rescues, but as my mix grew, and my seniors wanted nothing to do with him (for the most part), I started thinking I might "need" one because my boy was creeping on 20 lbs! After three visits just to see Graff (seriously, I love that giant), and the kittens, I made the leap. Daniel raises warm, loving, healthy, well-adjusted cats. His Cattery is clean and the cats are part of his home. He loves them all. I picked up my girl, Bella, and at 3.5 (ish) lbs. she holds her own with my 20lb mix and they LOVE each other! I couldn't be more happy! She fit in as if she's been here her whole life. I would definitely recommend Noble Manes.

We had the most amazing experience getting our new family pet from Noble Manes. They were so kind and really take good care of their cats. They went above and beyond when it comes to taking care of their kittens and also giving us all of the knowledge and training we needed to bring Puma home. They also sent us home with so many great items for us and our kitty. We would definitely recommend them and will most likely use them again in the future.

We absolutely love our cat, and Danny made it very easy for us to become a proud owner of a Maine Coon! Our furry friend is so affable and healthy - we have never had a health scare and he is now 8 months old. This experience has been excellent from start to now this point. Encourage anyone thinking of getting a cat to go to Noble Manes.

We brought our amazing kitten "Bogey" home 3 weeks ago. I can't believe how beautifully he made the transition. He's calm, well behaved, and very affectionate. He adapted easily and has been a pure pleasure. We did not know much about cats when we sought out Dan. He was so straight forward with us, extremely knowledgeable, and beyond patient with our many questions. I feel so blessed that we found Dan. It's been a pleasure dealing with him, and I know he stands behind us when it comes to our kittens welfare. Thank you Dan. Bonnie R.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! Daniel provides excellent service and takes great care of all of his beautiful cats. He is professional, caring, and accommodating. While waiting for Mazikeen to come home, we received consistent updates on her progress and pics. We were able to visit and bond with her. Mazikeen is the perfect addition to our family.

I recently adopted my thoroughbred Maine Coon kitten from this Cattery and I can't begin to truly express my gratitude for this Cattery and owner Daniel. I had been looking high and low for a reputable Cattery with unique Maine Coon kittens and finally found this place. Unfortunately in the interim, I went through many heartaches by being scammed so by the time I got to Daniels Cattery I wanted cold hard proof that this place was we legit. I called and he immediately answered. I asked to swing by thinking there's no way this is real and he kindly obliged and let me swing by as I was only 15 minutes away. That spoke volumes to me. The fact that this man allowed me into his Cattery with such politeness and so open hearted and was beyond impressive. He took me to each room where his Kings and Queens stayed and explained his professional process and the data and care that goes into helping him to create such magical creatures. My husband and I were so impressed at the care, dedicated and requested sanitation requirements upon arrival. It showed he cares deeply about these precious little souls. I met the kittens and knew this was the place we'd be adopting from hands down once the tour was over. We got on his waiting list for the next litter and we got blessed when I saw my little purrrrfect piece of art on my little Mosaic faced Maine Coon. I am so in love with this little guy I could write a novel. I will however leave it at this... if you're not absolutely a good human who plans to love a little soul who just happens to be fuzzy, then this is not the place for you. Daniel ONLY adopts his kittens out to quality human beings. I definitely had to prove myself. And I loved that. It let's me know each kitten truly gets the best home.

My 16 week old MC from Noble Maines Cattery

100% recommended Noble Manes Cattery if you are looking for a MC. This Cattery is beyond helpful especially if you are a 1st timer, they go above any beyond supporting you during and even after you pick up your cat. The love and care the Cattery provides is show through how well mannered, healthy, and beautiful their cats are.

My husband and I were in love with the Maine Coon Breed and started doing our research on trying to find a breeder in the states. We were luck enough to find Dan. He has been helpful in answering our questions and very knowledgable about the breed. The adoption process was super easy. He kept us up to date on everything that was happening with our kitten, sent tons of photos and videos. Then once it was time for us to pick up our little bundle of joy he had all this paperwork ready he also had a kitten care package with toys, food and blanket with his name sticked on it. We named out kitten O'Malley and he is just perfect. He loves to play fetch with his balls - yes fetch! He chirps when he wants to talk to you, slams his head into your hand we he wants you to pet him and has a great personality! He is now 10 months old and weighs 15 pounds! Plus Dan even after all this time he still will answer our questions! I forgot the name of the food we fed him while in the pet store, we called and he answered and told us! I know he cares not only for his Kings and Queens but also for his graduates!

Idgie with two of her favorite toys.

We are very pleased with our inclusion of Idgie to our family! I would highly recommend anyone interested in healthy, happy, social Maine Coon cats to work with D.S. Fradkin. When you work with him you will find he is very loving and kind to his cats and his Cattery is exceptional. He was always open to questions and was honest and informative in all of dealings with him. Idgie is beautiful, loving and we are so pleased to have her in our home.

We started looking for a Maine Coon about a year ago. Our experience with some of the other U.S. breeders was challenging - either they weren't responsive/forthcoming, or they didn't place a lot of priority in the health and standards of their cattery. I was pretty firm that I wanted to find a small cattery that strove for breed integrity - and completed all available health testing in their program. After a couple emails and phone calls with Dan, it was such a relief to find a breeder that raised the bar, with a wealth of information shared so readily with us. We got on the wait list for a kitten and stayed in touch... and once the litter was born it was instant smiles to get kitten picture updates as they grew. Transporting our little one here was a smooth process - she had a longer flight but did well. She's everything a Maine Coon should be! Loving, affectionate, playful, and great with all of the other animals in the house (we have 4 dogs and 2 other cats). We love her confidence - she is curious and greets people immediately. Thanks Dan, we love our little one.

Doing Business with Noble Manes Cattery has been an extremely positive experience. The owner and breeder, Dan Fradkin, was such a pleasure to work with. We adopted a male, blue smoke Maine Coon cat named Gryff. We have been so thrilled to welcome this little guy into our home. He is the most fun-loving, cuddly, spirited, and beautiful boy. He acclimated to our home and bonded to us so quickly. I can thank Dan for that because he is a very loving and caring breeder who shows each cat and kitten an abundance of love and affection, making all of his kittens wonderful pets. All of the cats at Noble Manes Cattery are approachable and affectionate - the ones he breeds, the kittens, his pets. None of them were afraid. None of them hid. They all welcomed human attention. All of his kittens are microchipped, spayed/neutered and up to date on shots before you pick them up. All kittens come with papers explaining bloodlines, etc. He also sends you home with a goody bag of food samples and toys as well as a darling comfort blanket. I recommend Noble Manes Cattery 100%. Thank you Dan for a such a wonderful experience. I couldn't be happier! I look forward to doing business with you again.

I decide to call and a older woman picks up I say hello good morning, who do I have the pleasure in speaking with? (I ask who it is I'm speaking with so that I can properly greet her ) she responds rudely& with an attitude "well you called me so you should know who I am" I say oh ok I do apologize but am I calling to Tropico kennels? She says yea. And then goes off on a rant that she doesn't answer her person phone often because she receives calls of people always trying to buy her house or sell her stupid shit. I said oh ok I understand but that was very unprofessional of you, I do not wish to purchase a dog off a business who doesn't know how to be professional or answer a phone call like a decent human being. So I then hung up. I would never speak to anyone that way regardless of the circumstances. Learn to be respectful and polite. Completely put me off and definitely will NOT EVER be buying a dog from this place. I'm editing my review because after a couple minutes my mom said she wanted to try and call to get information about the dogs. Because again my mom is interested in buying a puppy. So my mom calls says hello good morning I was wanting to get some information about the golden doodle puppies you might have. the same woman answers and says oh ok sure but can I call you back in a couple of minutes? My mom said sure not a problem and then the woman hung up. LITERALLY 1 minute goes by and I receive a message from this woman (I have attached a photo of the message) saying nice try! I did reply and then blocked her. Never in my life have I ever had an encounter like this. The woman then proceeds to call my mom back (I have attached a photo of the phone call as well that she called back) (as you can see she called back & the call lasted 14sec bc she was a COWARD & hung up) and say to her that she is not going to sell us any dog because I called and hung up on her, and that she should tell her daughter to not be a bitch. The woman proceeds to hang up. So I blocked her on both my mother & I's phone. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! We were only wanting information about the puppies! Which is why my mom insisted on her trying to call because she really wants a puppy. HORRIBLE experience!

I get a reply with her daughters Venmo info and nothing else I kindly asked again about my questions (thinking maybe she didn't see that part) and I get a dismissive reply saying she's too busy and suggests I find another breeder. Every other breeder I've reached out to who are surely equally as busy as Lisa have had absolutely no problem answering a few simple questions before taking my money because they want you to be happy with your puppy. As that is best for the pup and the owner. Her pups are $1800 more than almost any other breeder in the country. I'm not sure why, but it's definitely not because of their outstanding customer service. 2 stars instead of 1 star because she was at least clear that she won't communicate with you until you pay up. Lisa, I took your advice and have placed a deposit with another breeder.

Out of the blue in December, she became paraplegic and we had to have same day surgery to give her a chance to walk again. It's a $9600 surgery. Luckily she walked again after full on rehabilitation. But she injured herself again 5 months later. This is our first dog and I had no idea this breed has 1 chance out of 4 to get diagnosed with IVDD around the age of 4. I reached out to the breeder to get an idea if that was running in her family line and to let other families know that my dog had the issue so they can be proactive about it, most likely people who purchased a puppy from that litter has a much higher risk as it's genetic. Other people are going to run into the same issue, cost and major stress. They replied saying her parents were happy and healthy. No support whatsoever. This is a huge deal in my opinion and they aren't taking this seriously. I don't think I'm an isolated case. Anyone with a mini should take pet insurance at the very least we should have more information on IVDD from the breeder so we can be informed on the signs. If you don't get surgery within 24 hours, your dog will most likely be paralyzed. After surgery, she had to be 100% crated with strict instructions to manage pain with meds 3 times/day with food that we had to spoon feed. We were carrying her and holding her body trying to make her go potty. We had to have someone at the house 24/7 to ensure she's taken care of. Super long journey to get her back and she just injured herself again. Not as bad as she's walking still but it might be another episode of IVDD located elsewhere. I can't stress enough that the initial investment to get a puppy is just that.

I am extremely heartbroken and regret using a breeder who does not genetic test their dogs. Because Barbara does not, I lost my sweet longhaired mini dachshund at just under a year and a half old to a rare autoimmune disease that would have been avoided had she tested her dogs. At a year old, my baby boy started developing an issue where he would regurgitate up all his food. He was tested for and diagnosed with an extremely rare autoimmune disease, myasthenia gravis. It is essentially a disease that impacts the body's muscle ability to function. It had appeared dormant in him, but can manifest either later on, or straight after birth. Dogs with myasthenia gravis can have the potential to live long and healthy lifes, but only with constant monitoring of their eating habits. A dog with myasthenia gravis must be watched constantly and can not be allowed to eat or drink water if it is not in an upright position. That is the only way to ensure a healthy life. He lost eyelid function and could not close his eyes; he developed facial drooping, and the worst of all, he developed irreversible esophageal damage. He could not even eat a bug off the ground without regurgitating it back up. Because of the disease, I had to have him on a series of medications, management from a vet as well as a neurologist, and feed him solely in an upright position (for at least 20-30 minutes), lest he regurgitate his food. The issue behind regurgitation is aspiration pneumonia, which can be lethal at worst, and at best, require medication and hospitalization. This diagnosis and treatment cost over $25,000, as in the process of diagnosing myasthenia gravis, my poor boy developed pneumonia twice. I ultimately had no choice but to put him down when he developed pneumonia a third time and his body could not fight off the infection. He was suffering and no amount of oxygen therapy or antibiotics would have cured the infection. This disease would have been completely preventable had Barbara tested her dogs for genetic diseases. As a recessive gene, myasthenia gravis is extremely rare. However, it is passed to offspring when both parents are carriers for the gene. This means that two of her breeding dogs must be carriers for myasthenia gravis, and the likelihood of additional puppies being born with it are high. Save yourself the tens of thousands of dollars, time, and heartbreak and find a breeder that genetic tests their dogs. I am heartbroken every day of my life after losing my sweet boy. Anyone who has ever owned a dachshund knows that they are always close to you, and the bond you develop is incredible. It is heartbreaking to have lost my sweet boy at one and a half years old to a disease that could have been avoided if responsible breeding was done. Not only was it a severe financial constraint to have to pay over $25,000 to try to keep him alive, but I neglected myself as well, losing sleep, and constantly on edge and attempting to avoid him eating anything, lest he develop aspiration pneumonia. It was exhausting constantly living on edge, but that is the only way to give a dog with myasthenia gravis a long and healthy life. I'm heartbroken, exhaused, and finally starting to recover mentally after losing my sweet boy. Do not do the same; find a breeder that genetic tests their dogs, and ask to see the testing. Ethical breeders are happy to do so.

We found out about Mutts + Munch from our boarder/daycare and have been wanting to try them out…read moreever since they opened at the end of October. We finally got a chance right before Christmas as my husband and I both were home, but of course it was pouring rain that day ‍. Due to lame California health codes dogs aren't allowed to eat inside. Nevertheless, our dog Rex had an awesome time and the patio is fully covered so you can stay dry even if it's raining. The owners (Anna & Karl) are incredibly nice and shared that future plans involve hopefully getting a liquor license and also adding a heat lamp outside, both of which will definitely have us making the drive to Tarzana more often! There were several dog menu options, some of which looked so tasty I was tempted to order them for myself... Rex devoured his liver cake but the silly punk left his carrots behind . If it'd been warmer that day I would've also ordered him a dessert! Additionally there were human food options, and most importantly coffee with non-dairy milk options. Don't judge me but I love cauliflower curry but I couldn't have brunch without bacon so yes I added meat to a vegan meal . Idk who wrote the menu but we read through every menu item and there are so many sassy comments all throughout that we were dying laughing. I don't even know how to describe it with justice; you just have to read through the menu yourself and enjoy the refreshing humor. Inside the store is a shopping area filled with adorable goodies. Pictured is a White Paw plush, a lamb "cigar", a treat bag, and a clicker! We've tried clicker training before but gave up quickly cuz we're lazy, but Karl gave us great suggestions for how to use the clicker and actually be effective. Across from the shop there's also a daycare area, where training is offered for puppies and adult dogs on the weekends! We look forward to checking out their training programs in the future.
