The Munchkin

Munchkin was a cat with goals, that got her through 20 years. One of those goals was a mouse. She got the mouse, and a few weeks later passed. The services provided by Noah's Ark made this loss easier to process. The beautiful location, being treated with compassion, and kindness at such a vulnerable time was...there is just no comparison. Everything was perfect, during such a difficult time. Am so grateful to have found this business. Highly recommend. RIP Munchkin

Munchkin 4/22/19 - 8/29/24

My family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Noah's Ark for taking care of our beloved hedgehog. We lost our little Munchkin over this holiday weekend and we're devastated. Not expecting immediate service, we were surprised to hear a kind, compassionate voice when we called at 12:30am! The next morning, we spoke with Kevin, who made us an appointment to come down within the hour. We were greeted at the door by Linda and Ryan who were not only caring and understanding but also so patient. They let us take all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. We were so surprised when we got the call three hours later to take Munchkin home. Her ashes were sealed in a beautiful box and we even got keepsake paw prints and hair clippings. We can't express how much their professional, timely, and personalized services meant to us at this difficult time. We are forever grateful!

I want to take a moment to say something about a business no one wants to have to use. Noah's Ark Pet Crematory Owned and Operated by Kevin P. Orender was truly amazing. Linda was kind and loving yesterday and spent well over forty minutes talking with us about our Dune , looking at videos and photos of him . He was treated like he was our family, because he was and is. They don't make you wait days or weeks to receive your beloved family member back. It was less than 24 hours. Allowing for a sense of much needed closure. I hated having to use their services but I am so grateful to have found them.

He is rude, doesn't listen to symptoms & does NOT know his veterinary medicine. I do not trust Dr. North to give my dog her annual shots. My dog was very sick. Almost died sick. She had a very swollen belly, the runs, drastic weight loss & lethargy. Dr. North only would treat the symptom of the water retention in her belly. After 3 months of going, numerous blood tests and x-rays, water pills & anti biotics, she wasn't getting better. I did research and found a disease that fit ALL of her symptoms & test results. He told me "no, it can't be that because it is very rare. Let's wait & see what happens." Instead of waiting while my dog suffered, we went to red bank to see a specialist. She was diagnosed w lymphagestascia. Yes very rare, but rather common in Yorkies. Dr. North never looked up the disease after I mentioned it or even attempted to figure out what was killing my dog. She would have died without immediate treatment. She is now doing great & we go to see Dr. Spangle for shots and routine visits. But we do have to go to red bank annually to monitor her disease. I don't know that I would go to Brielle for anything major. But for routine upkeep and basic issues, Dr. Spangle is right on.

We were transferred from a North Jersey animal hospital to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital because we were told they were the best of the best -- and my goodness, that could not have been more true. From the emergency team to the greeters at the front desk, every single person treated us with urgency, compassion, and professionalism. They took Paisley in immediately, and the neurology team had her scheduled for an MRI first thing the next morning. I truly cannot say enough about Dr. Sheen. Her compassion, knowledge, and incredible people (and animal!) skills were beyond reassuring during such a traumatic time. She even went the extra mile to check on Paisley's results on her day off. That level of care meant everything to us. After some much-needed good news, we later worked with Dr. Haggerty for five tooth extractions and a root canal. Once again, from the moment we walked through the doors, we were blown away by the level of care and expertise. The hospital itself is spotless, massive, and run so seamlessly. Honestly, if I ever needed surgery, I'd want it to be at Red Bank It is an incredible place for both humans and animals during times of crisis and need. We are forever grateful to the entire team for taking such amazing care of Paisley. Thank you for being exactly who everyone says you are -- the absolute best.

We knew that we wanted to have her cremated as we had done we other pets that had passed through the years. We had dealt with another crematory in the past through our vet(s) and were nt happy with the recent reviews that they'd been getting. After some research we came upon your crematory and were happy with what we were reading about other people's experiences. We called that morning and spoke to Marisol who was very sympathetic, informative, and respectful. She gave us an appointment right away. We drove to them in Secaucus from Brooklyn and when we arrived Marisol met us at the door. She and Mariah were very polite, understanding, and accommodating. They took our Oreo and placed her on a bed surrounded by flowers and gave us some time alone to say our goodbyes. Marisol then waked us through the cremation process and showed us where it would be done and guaranteed us that it would only be Oreo's ashes that we would be receiving. We were given the opportunity to be present for Oreo's cremation. Ultimately Oreo's ashes were returned to us in less than 2 hours and were were able to bring her back home with us same day. They made this sad morning easier to get through. Along with Oreo's ashes we received a beautiful wooden box to keep her in with an engraved brass pate attached, a certificate allowing us to travel with her ashes, a wooden beaded bracelet, her paw print in clay with 2 gems attached, a stand for her paw print, a rose that lights up, and a notebook with the Rainbow Bridge poem on the cover. We were overwhelmed by all that we were given and the wonderful service that we were provided by Marisol and Mariah. We highly recommend Pet Rest in Peace to any loving pet owner.
