Please please please if you need to get rid of bed bugs DO NOT use this method. I had this done 1 year ago in my new home full of new furniture with my husband. NOT ONLY has this dust ruined most of the things in my home but it is STILL HERE. My house never feels clean. Dust still falls from high places, blows out of air vents, there are still piles in my cupboards and closets, it broke my vaccuum cleaner trying to clean it, its EVERYWHERE. I have spent countless hours cleaning and scrubbing. It doesnt even come off of hard surfaces, you can scrub and scrub and scrub and theres always a thin film of dust. It's only been 5 days since the treatment and my daughter and I are getting bit more than before. We are now even getting bit in the day time! The bites didn't stop at all. I had my bed wrapped in bug proof sheets and was finally not getting bit and now the cover was removed for the treatment we are getting ate up! I have tried contacting this man for further treatment and was simply told the powder can't fail even though it clearly is. I even sent photos of my bites to which I got no response. We are supposed to be under a 1 year warranty and we haven't even been offered a follow up. I know the guy is currently on vacation however he has offered no assistance in this matter other than to tell me it will work. this business is claiming to be a safe alternative and is totally not. his methods are unsafe and his research has no credible sources and he doesn't even try to argue it. very unsafe for children small animals and the elderly. just search for the dangers of amorphous silica, this is the "safe" version he claims to use. i have shown him multiple sources from osha, the cdc, and several science journals they are posted on his facebook page if you would like to read them yourselves. my landlord decide to use this treatment for cost saving reasons and now the cleanup is costing more than just going with a professional. my son and I have been plauged by respitory problems ever since treatment and it is near impossible to get all the dust out of the air even after professional cleaning. read more

I used Tim's service last year for my home. First the good part. It works. I have no more bed bugs since the treatment and that is great. However, as one other review stated, the overwhelming damage, hassle, and expense it has taken to clean up the powder left over every single inch of my 3,200 sq ft home has been a nightmare. After several months I'm still finding dust places. Tim is a nice guy and very knowledgeable about bed bugs. But he does a terrible job informing people about what's really going to happen to their homes once the treatment is done. Your ceilings, walls, floors, cabinets, beds, bedding, clothes, shoes, toothbrushes, coats, computers, televisions, dishes, vents, lights, gararge, basement (and everything in them)......EVERYTHING, is covered with dust that is very difficult to clean up. The cost was cheaper than the traditional way but due to the size of my home, cleaning cost me well over $1000 and that doesn't include dry cleaners costs. My family room couch pillows were beyond repair to get the dust out so have to replace those for another few hundred bucks. Tim didn't prepare us for any of this. He just said that we would need a dry vac to vacuum up the carpet and gave us a small oxygen spray can that's used to clean computer keyboards. This puts you in the mind that it will be messy but that's extremely misleading. Your house will not be the same for some time. Tim is adamant about not moving things before he gets there because he stated it created extra work for him and the bed bugs could be hiding anywhere, so we left everything where it was and uncovered. My nice shoes, purses, clothes were a true mess and some couldn't be cleaned. They were ruined. I would've gone the chemical route had I known then what I know now. My husband wanted to sue. But I just let it go because 1. We don't have bed bugs anymore and 2. I just want the hassle and horrible experience of all of it to be over with. Buyer beware. Ultimately it works and it's cheaper (initially) but the juice truly isn't worth the squeeze. Also, very important to know that if you have asthma or any other respiratory condition DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. My husband has asthma, as does our house keeper and maintenance guy (who had to come clean out our ducts after the treatment).
