I had an extremely negative experience with Extreme Exterminating and would strongly discourage anyone from working for or hiring this company. Employee safety was clearly not a priority. After being attacked by dogs twice on previous jobs, I expressed concerns about going onto another property with dogs present. It was not just about my own safety -- we regularly sprayed around customers' pets, and I became increasingly uncomfortable with how little care or caution seemed to be taken around animals during treatments. Instead of handling my concerns professionally, I was met with hostility and verbal abuse from the owner's sister simply because I did not feel safe and believed more caution should be used around pets. I was made to feel like neither employee safety nor animal safety mattered at all. The work environment felt toxic, disrespectful, and heavily focused on rushing through jobs as fast as possible. From what I personally witnessed, treatments often seemed inconsistent, and there were times where appearances mattered more than actually doing a thorough job. Communication was poor, concerns were ignored, and employees were treated as disposable. Management came across as unprofessional, disorganized, and more concerned with pushing volume than quality service or safety. I left feeling completely disrespected and honestly shocked at how poorly situations were handled.
