Large selection of products and knowledgeable associates asked about what I was looking for and what would work best for me. The manager came out to measure and discuss how the work would be done and go over possible additional charges based on my existing flooring. He provided a quote in a very timely manner and we scheduled the date! They assigned a two man team who showed up promptly on time each morning. The installers were amazing. They took such care in my home and were so respectful and efficient! They assisted with some installation questions I had and got right to work. They were so careful moving my furniture around and I was so touched that they made sure my bed area was cleared at the end of their upstairs workdays so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. They used plastic sheeting to mask off closet and bathroom contents to keep the dust down as much as possible due to the floor leveling process. They set up shop in my garage and at the end of each of the 5 days tidied the work spaces and swept up the garage very thoroughly. F and L..... thank you so much. I know I said it a lot but I really love the excellent job you did! I am so happy with the outcome. I love my floors and give OC Hardwood the highest praise possible!!! Once the material/color was chosen, the work was scheduled for the week after. On the day of the installation, Raymond showed up on time and finished the job in just one day. We did feel 12 bags of self leveling concrete was excessive when it looked like it was only used on a few corners of the room in a job less than 900 sq feet. Unfortunately one of the stair nosing broke within a couple weeks of install. Rafi was responsive in redoing the stairs stating it was a manufacturing defect and that the new version is stronger. Unfortunately the second team quality of work was very poor. They left holes in our walls that were patched poorly with plaster. Worst of all the stairs were apparently nailed to the subfloor and after a few weeks they started to rise leaving little holes and nails protruding from the floor. A few of the stair noses are loose as well. At this point, Rafi became unresponsive to have the flooring fixed. We ended up getting some of our money back through our credit card after months went by but the majority of the payment was by check. Basically we will need to replace the stairs again on our own dime. Buyer beware! Lifetime warranty doesn't mean anything if the installer ghosts you.

This was a complex project where we had to remove a lot of existing mixed flooring, deal with leveling costs creatively and work around our family while we lived in the space. The crew was exceptional. When there was problems that required creative solutions they figured out how to stay on budget and made custom flooring adapters to cover specific spacing issues. All of the flooring and baseboard install was done incredibly well. I still see little details where I'm impressed at the level of craftmanship they applied to getting tight corners, hitting rounds and hard angles. The floor has been in for some time now and we had absolutely no follow on issues.

The finish on the floor was novice level work. Heavy tooling marks all over, smeared stain, splattered topcoat. That was my reason for the C-. Within a week many of the boards have detached and come up. I've also noticed: huge sections of the flooring were never fastened; the sanding is so bad that it's visibly lumpy in several areas; there are large gaps that were not filled and stained properly. And to top it off they had the highest quote of the bunch. The people working there are nice and pleasant, and very responsive. They offered to come back and redo it. But given the range and severity of problems I did not trust them to do further work. All around a complete waste of my time and money.
