Unfortunately, after learning about how my training partner was treated by staff this past Saturday morning, I will not be upgrading my membership. According to my partner, he finished his workout on Saturday 10/3/2026 around 11:20/11:30 AM and was heading out when he realized he forgot his phone. As he walked toward the vestibule with his headphones on, multiple employees started shouting at him. When he stopped to see what was going on, three staff members, including one who sprinted from behind the turnstile, rushed him and got right in his face in a hostile, bullying, and intimidating manner over a simple check-in misunderstanding. Even though he was already checked in, which the front desk quickly verified via his phone number once he went back up to them, the staff created an aggressive, public spectacle.  Customers and guests pay to train in a welcoming environment, not to be harassed or treated like criminal suspects. This kind of aggressive, highly unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable. Management really needs to look into how their staff treats people.

Why not just go out and get some toilet paper? There is plenty of toilet paper at many stores nearby. I was left with one square. Not enough to have a hygienic return from the bathroom. I suggest good hygiene at a gym is more important than getting the cheapest ass possible toilet paper that you possibly can that you have to wait to get from some store far away. If you go to the trouble to make up a sign that you tape in the women's bathroom, this suggest you don't really plan to change

Everyone wears a mask at all times, wipes the equipment after every use, and often before they use it. There is plenty of room for social distancing and equipment has been removed from use which also creates distance. It is great to have a place to exercise and to be able to get out of the house. The staff also cleans and monitors the equipment. Thanks 24 Hour Fitness!

I like this 24hhr location, but there are some concerning issues that need to be addressed. First,…read morethe cleanliness of the gym, particularly the flooring in and around the equipment - desperately needs to cleaned. If you glance down from the machine you're using, you'll see what looks to be several month's worth of sweat, body dander and whatever else drops off people's bodies when they workout. Whoever is cleaning the floors, appear to be skipping over these areas and the amount of buildup is disgusting. 24HR Gresham - if you're reading this, please clean these areas of the floor as well! Second concern, and I'm sure it's not unique to 24HR Fitness but way there are too many people working out that on their phones, often sitting or standing by a machine, scrolling for several minutes on their phone, preventing anyone else from using the equipment. I have on more than one occasion, asked the person if I could work in or use it, but recently one person on their phone defiantly said they still have a couple sets left. There's gym etiquette and there's phone etiquette, and for the most part the majority of gym goers understand that we're all sharing the same space and equipment. We all like to spend time on our phones nowadays, but please, not at the expense of someone else's time.

This is real custom training, not one-size-fits-all workouts. Christian designs creative, personalized programs that support my weight loss goals while being mindful of my scoliosis and an injured knee. What really sets him apart is his focus and intention. He's fully present during every session and never distracted--his attention is always on me, my form, and my progress. Each workout builds on the last and is adjusted based on how I'm progressing and how my body is feeling. He challenges me in a smart, safe way and always has alternatives ready when needed. It's clear he's extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about my long-term success. On top of that, he's so much fun to work with, and the music and lighting create an energizing atmosphere that makes every workout enjoyable. I always leave feeling stronger and supported. Highly recommend!

He pays attention to what both of us need individually instead of forcing us to do the same thing or go at the same pace. The workouts feel thoughtful and tailored, and I appreciate that he'll adjust things on the fly if something doesn't feel right or if we're having an off day. The space is clean, comfortable, and not intimidating. It feels like you can just show up as you are. I can also change the lights or the music to customize the space. It's a little far for us but definitely worth the drive. Free parking on site too. Overall, training together has been fun for us as a couple, and we leave feeling challenged in a good way instead of wiped out or discouraged. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want a supportive studio without the ego vibe.

I love the group fitness classes at this 24 Hour Fitness, and the instructors are the best,…read moreespecially Christine and Tiffany. They make the classes worth coming back for, and I'm grateful for the energy and quality they bring. That said, I am extremely disappointed with some of the gym's recent decisions. First, moving cycle classes out of the dedicated cycle room and into the downstairs group fitness room was a huge downgrade. Adding bikes to that space makes it cramped, and the experience is nowhere near as good. Cycle classes are significantly better in a dark room with loud music, where you can focus on the ride and get immersed in the experience. That atmosphere is now gone. What makes this decision even more frustrating is WHY the cycle room was taken away: to create a paid relaxation room. It has been open for months, and in all the time I've been coming to the gym 4-5 days a week, I have **never once seen anyone using it.** Not once. An excellent, functional space that was used for popular fitness classes has effectively been taken away to create a room that sits empty. It feels like a decision made to generate additional revenue rather than improve the member experience. It is a terrible waste of space, and frankly, it makes me angry to see a great class environment sacrificed for something that appears to have little to no use. Second, the group fitness room needs a better selection of hand weights. The weights available top out at just 7 pounds, which simply isn't enough for many of our classes. We regularly have to go upstairs and borrow weights from the fitness floor. Other 24 Hour Fitness locations provide heavier weights for group classes, and this location should, too. Please add 12-, 15- and 20-pound hand weights so members can properly participate without having to track down equipment elsewhere. I want to love this gym because the instructors and group fitness community are fantastic. Christine and Tiffany are standouts, and the classes are a big reason I keep showing up. But the loss of the cycle room, the seemingly unused paid relaxation room, and the lack of appropriate weights are all avoidable frustrations. I hope management will reconsider these decisions and start prioritizing the experience of the members who show up consistently, week after week.

Walk around and check out the bathrooms and machines to see how dirty they are. Can't wait for my year to be up. And I will never pay for a year in advance again.
