Specialties
All of our therapists are highly trained, competent and compassionate therapists that are real human beings. We all have close, if not over 20,000 hours of direct, clinical service hours ranging from out-patient, in-patient, schools, group homes, community mental health, corporate, employee assistance and private practice settings. Most of our clients find that they find a good fit with their therapist and on occasion, if it is not a good fit, we are happy to work with you to find someone that is. We also work with relevant practitioners to provide holistic care, where needed and appropriate.
History
Established in 2005.
The practice was founded by Nicole in 2005 and she expanded to a group practice, shortly thereafter to address the needs of the community. All associates are highly trained, compassionate, dedicated and have been with the group ranging from 5-10 years.
The dedicated group has served thousands of people in our community and beyond-many clients travel to see us or continue on via phone or Skype if they leave Chicago.
Due to the nature of our confidential work, clients typically do not post reviews online and while we all have many testimonials from clients, we do not post them or solicit reviews. We highly encourage anyone to discuss their work directly with their therapist, concerns or appreciation. We are all dedicated to making sure you are getting good clinical care. Thank you for your consideration and your trust. NMK & Associates
Meet the Business Owner: Nicole M.
Nicole Meyer Klarich is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Consultant. She offers warmth and creativity, primarily working with adults and couples. Always mindful of respecting clients, she is able to incorporate humor and thoughtful confrontation with an easy gentleness that builds trust and encourages the therapeutic process.
In her 20+ year career, Nicole has figuratively (and literally) held the hands of countless people, with over 20,000 clinical hours, walking with them, at times, in their darkest of hours and in joy, through varied life situations. Nicole has retained many clients since the inception of the practice, over 14 years, who utilize therapy as needed. She employs a "wellness" perspective: most clients know when they need help and they come in and out therapy as necessary and/or when life transitions require attention. Then, they go on with their lives, off the "proverbial couch."
Nicole, simply, loves what she does.
