The atmosphere is really nice and modern looking, the equipment was clean as well as the salon. Everyone was friendly and the quality of work was top notch. They offered me something to drink as soon as I sat down (rare) and I love that they have a huge selection of traditional nail polish. I know nowadays, gel and powder is a little more common. I also liked that their pedicures seem a little more natural versus the traditional use of a dremel and that cheese grater looking foot scrubber which are both so damaging to your nails and feet. The girl at the counter told me it would take over an hour to soak off and that she could just "pop them off". She then proceeded to take a fake nail and slid it under my acrylic nails to rip them off my nail bed. By the time she got to the second nail I told her to stop and that I would be soaking them off. Didn't care if it was going to take over an hour or not. Then the man from the back came over to finish the job while another client walked in to get her nails done. The lady that tried popping my nails off told her to sit in her chair and then got on her phone and FaceTimed friends/family while doing her nails. Pretty rude I thought. Also, while soaking my nails off the man went outside to smoke and did not wash his hands when coming back in.
