My Hygenist is Chris and my Dentist is Dr. Brenny! Dr.Brenny is great and he is always in a good mood and excited about his job. Chris is the absolute best; I feel so comfortable catching up with her about life during my visits, and it's astounding to me that she can remember all the details of our convos 6 months later. That's how you know this business and the team really care about their patients and see them and respect them as real people. Chris also does an amazing job keeping my teeth healthy and clean, and I love my toothbrush pack freebie at the end of every visit. This is honestly the best dentist I've ever been to. I never had issues with billing, never any issues with insurance, appointments are alway on time, the office is very clean and oddly relaxing for a dental office, lol, and the staff is always helpful and great at their job! Now, I can't imagine going anywhere else. The entire experience is a pleasure, something I imagine many don't say about the dentist. From check in and the friendly receptionist/admin team, to the hygienists and Dr. Brenney, I've never had a more painless experience at the dentist. The friendliness is a welcome respite from how loaded everything feels (literally) outside and the staff truly seems engaged and interested in your life. Cleanings are a breeze and Dr. Brenney is a true professional and extremely good at what he does. They explain things to me in simple terms and their pricing is very reasonable. Honestly, I can say without a drop of hesitation that they more than earn a 5 star review. NGL, it was not my favorite way to spend a morning, but he and his staff were so caring and patient, they made the experience easier than I ever would have imagined. So I am going to stick with this Dentist office, even though scheduling time for cleanings is nearly impossible if you miss an appointment. Matt greeted me promptly at 7:00 a.m. and prepped me, always his usual, courteous yet friendly self. His administration of novocaine was painless and he explained and double checked the procedure. Dr. D. then did the same, explaining each step as we went along while both he and his assistant kept me well rinsed and as comfortable as possible throughout. Visual scans confirmed everything that had been done and any questions I had were answered quickly and expertly. I have had some traumatic dental experiences in the past elsewhere, so was slightly hesitant going in. My family of 4 has been seeing the team at Parkway Dental for over a decade, though, so I know firsthand that they are beyond competent. They actually CARE about their patients. At no time did I feel unsafe or uncared for. I was even given a lovely fleece blanket that proved to be a great calming agent. Truly, though, it is their professionalism and compassionate care that shepherded me through. I go back in about a week for my permanent crowns and am actually looking forward to it!

Made the mistake of thinking of her as a close acquaintance. My husband and I just transitioned to Medicare two months ago. When I called the office to verify coverage I was told both of our Medicare plans are out of network. That's because she does not accept Medicare. Payment up front is required and the patient has to bill Medicare themselves for whatever compensation is available for being out of network. I contacted Dr Melissa to remind her that she told me years ago if we ever were on an insurance she was not in network with, that she would become in network. No anymore. Her words "It's a business decision". Unbelievable. It also has impacted our adult daughter who we referred there and she now finds herself out of network through her new employer plan. I'm so glad we could help her business grow to the point she now owns the building she is in. Lesson learned. This dentist is truly about the money.

Although insurance only covered about $40 of the procedures I scheduled the appointment anyways with the plan to pay out-of-pocket. While I was having the procedure done, the dentist did several other procedures without asking my permission. When I went to check out I was charged for the additional procedures, which totaled $200 above the original quote. When I asked about the discrepancy the dentist came out and offered a 10% discount. They didn't seem to have any respect for the large amount of monetary difference, or that insurance wouldn't be covering it and I would be paying out of pocket for the extra $200.
