I had never had one before, and had no idea what to expect. On top of that, I have some pretty intense dental phobia from bad past dental experiences, so I usually take Valium the night before and morning of dental procedures. But Dr. Cory managed to put me enough at ease to go ahead with the procedure *sans Valium* on the spur of the moment. NGL, it was not my favorite way to spend a morning, but he and his staff were so caring and patient, they made the experience easier than I ever would have imagined. So I am going to stick with this Dentist office, even though scheduling time for cleanings is nearly impossible if you miss an appointment. The ability to put me at ease during a procedure is a rare quality, and worth any inconveniences I might have going forward.

Called today with some significant pain and they were able to squeeze me in at the end of the day…read more Ended up needing a surprise root canal. The doctor and his assistant stayed late to make sure I got it and felt better. It was Friday afternoon. I even offered to go home and come back Monday so they didn't have to stay late and they said no, they didn't want me hurting all weekend. That's compassion!

I came in on New Year's Eve for my first ever crown, two, actually, on adjoining teeth. Matt greeted me promptly at 7:00 a.m. and prepped me, always his usual, courteous yet friendly self. His administration of novocaine was painless and he explained and double checked the procedure. Dr. D. then did the same, explaining each step as we went along while both he and his assistant kept me well rinsed and as comfortable as possible throughout. Visual scans confirmed everything that had been done and any questions I had were answered quickly and expertly. I have had some traumatic dental experiences in the past elsewhere, so was slightly hesitant going in. My family of 4 has been seeing the team at Parkway Dental for over a decade, though, so I know firsthand that they are beyond competent. They actually CARE about their patients. At no time did I feel unsafe or uncared for. I was even given a lovely fleece blanket that proved to be a great calming agent. Truly, though, it is their professionalism and compassionate care that shepherded me through. I go back in about a week for my permanent crowns and am actually looking forward to it!

I love…read morehaving clean teeth and I would go once a month if I could buuuuut not all Dentists are equal! Tranquility Dental is, by far, one of the best dentists I have ever been to. On my…read moresecond visit, I was told that my insurance was considered out of network BUT that they had MANY patients with my insurance and they would work to get most of my visit covered (it was just a routine cleaning and X-rays). the hygienist was lovely and very kind and sympathetic. I had to wait in the chair for a very long time after the cleaning to speak with the doctor (so long I had to make calls to cancel things and make alternate arrangements for my kids). When the dentist finally came in, she started a conversation about the high costs of running a dental practice?!? (We had only met one time before this). She then seemed shocked when she presented her very elaborate plan to me and I responded with "yes, lets please start with the most urgent and space treatment out because cost is a very serious concern and barrier". she then sent her hygienist in to ask me if I wanted veneers!!!!!! months later, a $500 bill arrived..... that did not at all match any of the estimates and promises I had been given for a simple cleaning and xrays. now that I am here looking through other reviews, I see that this is something other patients have experienced as well. truly unfortunate since it is a nice office with a great premise.

A friend of ours, who used to live in the area, recommended a dentist, who didn't have hours that worked with what we needed. I went searching for a practice with Saturday hours (my husband travels out of state during the week most of the time), and found Linden Hills Dentistry on the internets. I called them, and was happy with the call (I put a lot of stock into talking to the receptionists, since they're the voice of the practice when I haven't been there before), so I made us appointments for cleanings. I ended up having to reschedule a lot, but they were patient and very accommodating. We went for those cleanings back in October, and were very happy with the neighborhood and the practice. I was able to get a referral to an orthodontics practice for the braces, and the ortho said that I needed to have one tooth pulled to facilitate the braces. I have strong teeth and have never had a cavity or anything. I'd never had novocaine, for crying out loud! I'm 35! When I had my wisdom teeth removed in WI 2 years ago, I had them put me out completely, that's how terrified I was of being conscious during a dental procedure other than cleanings. I told them that I was a nervous patient when making the appointment, and my husband reminded them of it when they called to confirm. I went in this morning, and I am pleased to report that they were wonderful! Dr. Beuckens is a great dentist, and Casey was her fantastic assistant. They let me listen to music and told me how things would go and made sure I was okay through all of it. It was over in a flash, and I'm sitting here more than 8 hours later, watching tv and I ate some mashed potatoes earlier! I highly, highly recommend Linden Hills Dentistry. And don't forget to explore the neighborhood after your visit!

I have been going to Linden Hills Dentistry for 10 years- and all of my family. The quality of…read moredentistry is good, and I will note they also value "friendliness" in a way that feels less genuine and more of a cover for the fact that at nearly every turn- they are trying to up-sell. Last week my daughter had a procedure there that I should have been passed to an oral surgeon- and she had a very adverse reaction and we ended up in the ER. When I called the office seeking help-- all i got was their assurance that she just needed to follow the protocol and would improve the next day. It was deeply upsetting episode and htey never checked in the next day to see how she was. I missed 2 days of work, now have over a $10k ER bill and that is on top of no dental insurance for the procedure (the clerk told me she would bill them and maybe they would pay). It was denied but LHD was paid up front. I am pulling all of my family out of this practice- sad because very kind people there but all behind a veneer of push, sell, make money. Feel like they have been bought by a private equity firm.
