I don't normally write reviews, but this is a review I could not keep to myself. I went to the…read moreurgent care for a painful boil. There was nothing they could do but prescribe antibiotics and send a recommendation to see a dermatologist. I didn't know when the derm they contacted would get in touch with me, but I knew it wouldn't be that day. I just started googling dermatologist in Lafayette. I literally called 8 different offices before I got to Dr. Daigle. No doctor had any openings for at least 2 weeks. One was months out. Dr. Daigle was my last hope before I was going to go to the ER. I called and spoke to the receptionist/secretary and pleaded my case. By this time it was late afternoon and they were about to close. She worked her magic and got me in the next day. I was so appreciative. I saw Dr. Daigle the next morning. The front staff was so inviting and friendly. Dr. Daigle's bedside manner is incredible. He listened to me without interrupting me. I felt heard and understood. Dr. Daigle answered all my questions, even the ones I thought were silly. I didn't feel rushed at all. I had the same boil previously lanced twice (by another ER doctor) and figured that was what he would do and then prescribe antibiotics like normal. Dr. Daigle explained to me though the boil was painful, he had a cream that would alleviate the pain, discomfort, and inflammation. Dr. Daigle's motto is that cutting someone is a last resort, if there is something less evasive that will work. Especially since I had already had that done twice and it came back. Dr Daigle had a sample of the cream in his office and he applied it to my boil. I took the rest home with me. I didn't have to spend unnecessary money at the pharmacy. He also explained that if I were to need antibiotics in the future, he would not prescribe oral antibiotics when there are antibiotic creams that would bypass the oral route and go only on the affected area. Dr. Daigle is all about patient care and what's best and specific for you. I waited over a month to write this review because I wanted to give the cream he gave a chance to work ( or not work). I have not had any issues with the boil. If I do and I need to have it lanced or be prescribed antibiotics, I have all faith that Dr. Daigle will do what's in my best interest. He also diagnosed what it was and why the boil creeps up from time to time. Which no doctor ever took the time to do. I even recommended Dr. Daigle to my husband. If anyone is looking for an honest, dedicated, and knowledgeable dermatologist, Dr. Daigle is who you need.

Common sense would have told you well there's 4 so let's split the difference. 2/4 is okay, 3/5 is okay... but 3/4! This is cruel, this is hurtful & what you did was tell a vulnerable impressionable kid; they are not good enough but everyone else is. Life is absolutely not fair, but what this did today was single a KID out like a bully. You were a grown adult bullying a kid today it's disgusting. I purchased 4 out of the 8 seats at this event & I was truly disappointed!! I will never spend money here again & will be sure no family or friends will either. This is unacceptable practices. Responded via email & Facebook to give them an opportunity to even just apologize for this horrible form of bullying a child! No response is a response. We have to many other places similar that will happily take my money & not single a kid out.
