On 9/11 the practice manager, Sandra, responded saying "We do treat Eczema. Have you been here before?" I replied to her email saying "I have not been there before. Do you accept [name of health insurance], if you do I would like to make an appointment at the Veteran's Blvd. Denham Springs location" On 9/12 at 1:15pm she replies with just "Yes we do." At this point, I am completely baffled at this bizarre back-and-forth email exchange, because she could have just picked up the phone to call me or delegate a staff member to call me. I received another message from the practice manager at 2:29pm saying "I can put you in at 1:00 or 1:50 on Tuesday 9/16 with Dr. [name omitted] at the Denham office." On 9/12 at 3:11pm I replied, "I can do 9/16 at 1:50pm. I found the new patient forms on the website and will complete them. Thanks so much." I did not get a message back from her confirming the appointment being scheduled. On Monday 9/15 at 10:46am I sent an email asking "Is my appointment time of 1:50pm on 9/16 confirmed? I chose one of the two available times, and am waiting for confirmation from your office." At 11:50am I still had not received a confirmation email from the manager and had not received a appointment reminder call from the practice and had a really bad feeling about the entire situation, so I picked up the phone and called them. The receptionist was very pleasant. I explained that I had been corresponding back and forth with Sandra and on Friday 9/12 she had offered me a choice of appointment times for tomorrow, I responded on Friday and sent a second confirmation request message this morning. I explained that I chose a time and never received a reply from Sandra confirming that it was, in fact, scheduled. The receptionist checked the system and confirmed that I was not anywhere in the schedule for 9/16! I would have wasted my time driving out there from my earlier appointment for the dermatology appointment that was not even scheduled! On 9/15 at 12:06pm I sent a message to Sandra saying "Never mind, I am no longer interested in seeing one of the doctors....[message snipped]...I just spoke to one of your reps on the phone who confirmed that my name is not in the appointment slot on the schedule." The entire email exchanged was unprofessional, as the right thing to do when they received my first message would have been to phone me and say, "yes, we treat eczema and we accept your insurance...would you like to make an appointment?" Now I know why they are the only dermatology clinic in the area with appointments open in September while all the other clinics are booked through late October to December! Based on my experience with them, I do not recommend this dermatology clinic.

Her son suffered from constipation. After their treatment plan...her son has normal BM now! I'm Hoping this will help with sinus drainages so we can avoid tubes in her ears! Seems to be doing well. We are doing weekly treatments for 4 weeks. Beats taking antibiotics and surgical procedures!

I was in rural Missouri for 6 MONTHS. was recently a patient of Dr Massengale. I recently returned home to Missouri After being gone 9 years. I returned to my same doctors who I believe to be intelligent but no more than my Dr's Louisiana. I had cellulitis and was in the hospital within 72 hours. Common theme. My PCP having never seen anything like me did 20 wound cultures.. I had staph. But I had to have staph when I left Louisiana. I kept my body covered from head to toe for obvious reasons. Dr. Massengale I believed in you. Why did you not do 20 wound cultures. You would have learned the same thing. I was resistant to all common antibiotics. Amoxicillin.Cephelaxin, Doxycycline. Just name off every medication for antibacterial infection you can think of. I guess I would have finally died. By now, I have 20 wound cultures, wound DNA as now my feet had blisters. Dr Massengale, left me like this and suggested religious counseling. Now, I agree that was probably needed, it wasn't going to cure me and I placed my absolute trust in you. Update: I am Mid way through Immunotherapy at a cancer treatment center. I may never be OK, but statistics give me 5 good years. My diagnosis was obviously over your head. I can accept that.
