Then over the next couple of weeks my pain continued to decrease. I keep going back because my pain continues to decrease. For example I had a sciatica, my L4 was a centimeter forward, I wasn't to a chiropractor to get it fixed. Felt better, but sometimes I would get some tingling down my leg ( not pain) the lymphatic massage took all of that away. I can sit in any position without pain! I had a breast exam and they saw something so I had to go for a 6 month review. At the review they saw nothing. In my particular case what they saw was taken care of by the lymphatic massage. They were not seeing anything serious! I also lost some weight. Only 10-12 pounds. No evidence it was from the massage but I have been dieting since 2014 and all I've been doing is gaining weight. This is the first time I've lost weight I will continue to go back until all of my numbness in my left foot goes away. Right now it just decreases a little bit each time I go. I have been getting regular massages for at least 20 years now and for the past 3 years or so I have been getting them 2 to 4 times each month for the constant pain i experience. It is not easy to find a massage therapist who is just right for you. Some of them just give you "their" massage. Everyone likes different types of touch and different pressures. He will alter what he does so that you are receiving "your" massage and not "his" massage. It may take a couple of visits to get it worked out but it is well worth it!! I have also had the full body massage but I prefer small concentrated deep tissue. Overall I have increased comfort for longer periods of time than I have had in the past! You will leave his office rested and relaxed and ready to face the world. I am very satisfied, make that beyond satisfied, with his services. Vince has been accommodating with his appointments for me. I know that he is willing to go to one's home and do the massage there for those unable to leave or for those who wish that luxury. The pricing is competitive with others in our area. His office is in a little strip mall downtown. There is a small parking lot and once or twice I had to park on the street. I often leave after dark and he has offered to walk me to my car if I wished. There is a bar in the strip mall and sometimes that noise penetrates into his business but it doesn't deter from my relaxing experience. He has soft music in the background and is willing to play your preferred style. There is the usual aromas but I have allergies so he uses product that does offend my nasal passages. However, I have extreme anxiety when it comes to meeting with doctors and was terrified to set up a consultation here. Clearly I did and it changed the quality of life. Within one visit my headaches became less frequent. I've had about 15 adjustments now and have been headache free. Setting up the appointment was easy and the next step was to fill out an online questionnaire about my health history and pain. This was the most in-depth review I have seen from a healthcare provider and it was clear that the information was reviewed and taken in to consideration by Dr. Stevens as he laid out my treatment. I was pleased to discover that visual and physical tools are used to figure out what's going on. The X-ray (in office) showed my spine was crooked and my neck was messed up. Finally, a reason I felt awful all of the time! Before the adjustment I needed reassurance that Dr. Stevens wasn't going to twist my body or break my neck. I was assured by him and his staff who were patient and gentle with my anxiety. The adjustment takes place on a table that seems to eliminate the need to do manual manipulation (at least for me). It's fast, too! The table takes longer to lower than it does to be adjusted. It's great! I have also never waited more than 3 minutes to be seen. This place is efficient and I frequently started my lunch breaks with an adjustment with plenty of time to spare. Dr. Stevens is patient and really aims to make sure his patient understands why there's an issue and how it'll be treated. The ladies on his staff are as equally fantastic. My emails are returned immediately and appointments are always accommodated. They even accommodated me when I was going to arrive after they closed because I was coming from out of town. As a patient I feel valued and cared for. Obviously I can't say enough about Life Chiropractic. Fortunately there is an atm about 100 feet from the shop but it charges a stiff fee if you aren't a customer. Best bet is to bring along plenty of cash.
