I've been going to Dr. Rohatgi for my shots for years, and my allergies have nearly vanished. She's simply THE BEST.

Dr. Rohatgi is a great doctor. I have decreased my meds and felt better since moving to DC and seeing her. Very recommended!

If not for the niceness of the nurses this would be a 1-2 star review…read more I was a patient of Dr. Nsouli's a few years ago. I did allergy shots for close to a year and a half I think. I met with Dr. Nsouli maybe 2-3 times during that entire course. So just to prepare you, when you have your first appointment you'll meet with the doctor, you'll see every room in the office adorned with degrees and certificates and news articles etc. but your main point of contact will be a Nurse Practitioner. Did the allergy shots work? Yes...for 4 months. After that, and ever since, it's like they never happened. Every conversation with Dr. Nsouli or his nurse practitioner was about how the research shows allergy shots are effective for about 10 years, but that's only because the research didn't track them further. I do not recall being warned that their effectiveness could wane so quickly. What's especially brutal about such an outcome is that the allergy shot process is incredibly time consuming. You're coming in 1-2 times a week, waiting to get your shot, waiting for half an hour afterward, plus the time to get to and from. I almost cry when I think of how much time I lost for nothing. When I reported that the effectiveness had waned, their suggestions were to put me back on the same regimen of medicine I was on when I first came to Dr. Nsouli. And if that wasn't enough, I could consider trying a different form of immunotherapy, sublingual, but they didn't think insurance would cover it. In other words, it felt like them saying our method didn't work, but here's another one we can sell you out-of-pocket. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a medical professional. Your mileage may vary, of course, Many people have success with allergy shot therapy. But not everything will necessarily be as rosy as depicted. I admit I should have gone back in person (I did virtual for my subsequent appointment(s) bc pandemic) but I was just too deflated.

I had done all my homework before the appointment I had recorded all my allergies episode timing to before and after effects to food that reaction etc etc. Yes all of it dr. He immediately no time wasting took me for full testing including food testing 2nd day patch test along with send me to the nutritionlist for full speed up advance level all testing for food and all blood work and he also the only doctor detected that I m highly allergic with gold jewlary I can only wear platinum jewlarybevery other metal react on me that alone solved half the bettal of my several years of allergic reaction condition I seeing love wearing gold jewlary 24/7 . DR. TALAL Nsouli is the world Best knowledge with action in his office on the the go and work as speed of light amazing asset for in his speciality. I m coming back to under his care once again in 2024 today all the way back from Atlanta Georgia to Virginia knowing he is the only Doctor who understand the craziness of Allergies in USA all state dealing with it. So yes I gave him 5 stars

Here's a background story: the DMV Allergy and Asthma center used to be called Fishman Allergy…read more They added new, pseudo hip, influencer docs to freshen up the stank the old practice still has and even hired a musician?/marketing guru with a little too much money on their hands as CEO (Navya Nataraj) to pull the car out of the mud because, you know, "the fish starts to stink from the head down". Now, they are hellbent on aggressive rebranding and try the social media route. Their Instagram is hilarious when you have known the practice for years and see through their brainwash strategy. If you want to know the truth though go read the one star reviews on Google. Better yet look up Henry Fishman, MD here in yelp. The reviews are priceless, unretouched and show how his and his staffs abuse goes back decades (!!!) to reviews from as old as 2010. You will find horrendous malpractice from administering expired allergy serums to impeding patients from accessing health records to cover up malpractice to occasional review fixing which, I think, yelp is less prone to. So they can't manipulate this. They have tried multiple times to get rid of bad reviews (probably paying online firms that explicitly do that for businesses which by now is a common manipulative standard in the promotional/marketing field) which were later reposted by the affected individuals or otherwise resurfaced. Google is notorious to hide then release reviews by itself as well. My review and another patient's review which were public at the time we wrote them quietly vanished later and we updated them again in disbelief. So that's first hand experience. I find it funny that albeit they try their best to pivot to the point they kicked Fishman out as head of the practice, replacing the management (going all the way to hiring a new, fresh, creative artist-CEO face and all), he still manages to hoard bad reviews. When you first meet him he will seem like the sweetest man. The mask will start to slip as soon as he has you locked into allergy shots. You will start to get mishandled bills which will get you into trouble financially and with your insurance, you will start seeing less of him or maybe even never again after that initial meeting where he will press you to sign an allergy shot regimen. Multiple patients have reported all of the above and even more crazy things coming out of that den. If you are lucky to still get to see the bad reviews from before the rebrand - i.e. his social media savy propagandist's damage control has not wiped and silenced all public dissent - you will get an early insight/warning. It's morally corrupt to hide honest reports of medical misconduct. But those that fall in that trap will get to experience the real deal sooner or later anyway. Maybe this message will help in hindsight that you weren't the only one who got fooled.
