As we approached the check out counter to inquire the price of a glass globe with matches in it, we over heard two employees chatting about how to price items. One, more "seasoned" sales person told the other that she just randomly makes up the price when it is not marked on an item and if customer is "stupid enough to accept the price" then that is what it is sold for. Both employees laughed it off. My sister had already purchased an item before we heard this exchange which she did not hear. Since then, Friday April 10, 2026, we have shared this information to discourage other "stupid" shoppers from giving this store any business. Shame on them for their LOW CLASS treatment of consumers. I will make sure and pass this on to the many new families we know that will be sending their children to Vanderbilt and Belmont this fall.

Right now, fall decor is on sale. I saw some great deals on center pieces. Time to get things while they last. I enjoyed looking through the matching Christmas PJs. Tonight Doc got us reservations for a Speakeasy Mystery Crawl in Nashville. The COLD night air confirmed I better buy a black coat to match the new black dress since they have a dress code. Thankfully I found a bedazzled light weight black coat for $30, bling earrings and a ring to get into the mood for this evening's 7:30 pm event. This shop did not have that musty smell like Goodwill or Savers. We'd shop for music or Big Sky bears ages ago but not clothes. I think watching Twilight Zone in my school age years gave me the Willie's of wearing someone else's clothes. Hub's aunty even told them she had nightmares with her own mom's clothes when she passed.
