I entered the store and saw it was having a pop up store event with three vendors. The free champagne bar popped with color in the store and the balloons were a lovely touch. Champagne and flavored sparkling water were provided by Copper Petal. I saw a lot of pretty things but I didn't buy anything except for a creamsicle macaroon. I couldn't resist the bright colors of the macaroons, and I haven't eaten all day. I saw the prettiest cross stitched framed items by Emily Reedstrom. My favorite was "Babes Supporting Babes" and "Read More Books". I felt grateful and lucky to have this festive and colorful event as my first experience in Copper Petal. Tonight Doc got us reservations for a Speakeasy Mystery Crawl in Nashville. The COLD night air confirmed I better buy a black coat to match the new black dress since they have a dress code. Thankfully I found a bedazzled light weight black coat for $30, bling earrings and a ring to get into the mood for this evening's 7:30 pm event. This shop did not have that musty smell like Goodwill or Savers. We'd shop for music or Big Sky bears ages ago but not clothes. I think watching Twilight Zone in my school age years gave me the Willie's of wearing someone else's clothes. Hub's aunty even told them she had nightmares with her own mom's clothes when she passed. Hopefully the one sage bundle i saw in the shop will be cleansing enough with my purchases. Hubs stayed in the car with Grandpup and Doc decided to go next door and treated us to coffee. I made an online order on June 4... it's June 18 and it still hasn't even left the ABLE warehouse…read more I didn't receive any heads-up or explanation for the delay until I reached out to customer support for an update. At one point I was told my order would ship by June 13. It didn't ship at all, and customer support once again didn't follow up to let me know. I am not sure if and when I will receive my items. Unacceptable and unnecessary.

I inadvertently purchased an ABLE product through Nordstrom. I say inadvertently because I had no…read moreidea I wasn't purchasing the item from Nordstrom itself. When I tried to return it to Nordstrom, I was told it was outside the ABLE return window and they had no authority to override the policy. They suggested I contact ABLE directly. I did and was told Nordstrom, and their system, was the problem and I should contact them. ABLE's response puts me--the customer--in the middle and makes it impossible to resolve this issue. And, after many years of excellent customer service from Nordstrom, I suspect ABLE and not Nordstrom is the problem. To be clear, I was responsible for knowing the seller of the item I purchased and their return policy. I did not; my fault. But, when I contacted them, if ABLE had confirmed their policy and graciously refused the return, I would have been unhappy but I would have respected their response and continued purchasing their products, being more careful in the future of their return policy. As it is, I will avoid their products; customer service is everything.
