Had I written a review immediately after my experience with Ninja Locks, I probably would have given 4 stars due to the immediacy with which Cris responded to my work order request. I am giving 1 star at this point however, due to the lack of integrity and professionalism with which Cris has conducted himself. I own a home which I rent out and was having locks changed last month. In person, he gave me a price quote of $75 for 1 door ($35 for lock and $40 for labor). He asked if I would be paying him directly or if my property manager would be invoicing him. I told him that my property manager would handle payment on my behalf. That being said, he sneakily invoiced my property manager $125. I just discovered this discrepancy today and called Cris to sort out the variance in price, as I was confident it was a minor oversight and that he would make it right. He was incredibly disrespectful and dismissive during the phone call. He cut me off repeatedly and snapped that "that's just the price." He also sarcastically stated he would never work for "only $40" and that labor is $65 minimum. I then asked him to calculate his statement, and advised him that even at his new, supposed higher rate of $65 per hour, the total would be $100 for 1 door ($35 for lock and $65 for labor). This is STILL not equivalent to the $125 he invoiced my property manager without my consent. When I made that point, he cut me off again and stated "Well that's just show-up pay then. You're just mad you got charged." He continued to brag about how much business he gets from my property management company and scoffed that my dissatisfaction would have no bearing on his business. He could not be more wrong... In my line of work, I deal with many self-righteous individuals, but Cris was one of the most disrespectful and arrogant businessmen I have ever dealt with. I am not simply upset that "I was charged"- as Cris so ignorantly chalked it up. As I am abundantly aware, the sheer nature of owning investment properties involves constant spending of monies to maintain the properties. My issue lies with his lack of integrity and unethical practices, aligning himself with the countless other sheisty businessmen out there ripping off the average, trusting and unassuming consumer. Had I not looked closely at my monthly invoicing statement from my property, I would have been completely unaware of what Cris had done behind the scenes, and would have assumed he invoiced my property management company the same price he had given me- $50 LESS that what he indeed charged me. Unfortunately that was not the case, and he snuck additional profit in for himself, stealing hard earned money from me. And his dismissive attitude leads me to believe that I am not the only customer he has pulled this over on. I would advise ALL customers to look closely at their transaction statements to be sure they have not been stolen from. My property management company has already been made aware that his business will never be welcome again on my property, and is advised of his conduct for future reference with other clients. Most 5 Star reviews on his page are indicative of his quick response when people need a locksmith in a pinch. Of course he responds quickly! Who wouldn't when their incentive is theft... If you look more closely at the other reviews, cost is not specifically mentioned in many reviews. I would advise all consumers to be aware of his unethical tactics. If integrity matters to you in the slightest, STAY AWAY from Ninja Locks. read more

We needed to rekey our doors after a situation with people staying in our home temporarily. We contacted Cris and he responded immediately and told us he would be here within 30 minutes. Long and behold he was here right when he said he would! We originally told him we needed 2 deadbolts and 3 regular locks. Chris saved my life! I unfortunately lost my only rental car key the day before my rental was to be returned. I'm in Grand Terrace and Ninjas lock and Pop-a-lock were the closest near me. First checked with him but it went to voicemail so I left a message then moved on to pop-a-lock, after them telling me someone would call me back in 20 minutes (and they NEVER DID) I gave Chris a second try(thank God). He was very accommodating and empathic with my situation of needing the car key and needing to leave by 1030 to make the 11 return time. And boy did he move fast. He got to me within 40 minutes (only because he needed to go to riverside to get my key type) then make the key within 10 minutes. He was very thorough and made sure EVERY lock could be opened with this key so there won't be any trouble. Car keys replacements are pricy but I was lucky enough to get a cheap car that it could have been easily worse. Give Chris a call for your keys needs over the others, you won't be disappointed! Did not charge extra for drilling our lock (couldn't pick it because it was a kwiklock) or replacing it and only charged $2 for each duplicate key. 5 stars. After a busy holiday weekend of traveling which ended in a very delayed flight the night before getting back to work, I thought things couldn't get worse. However it did because my house keys were lost! Long story short I called him a little after 6 AM and he told me he could meet at my house in 20 minutes. He was on time and very professional. My locks could not be picked because of the type of lock, however he had techniques that allowed him to get into the locks and open them rapidly. He put in new locks and made me keys. Also I had another item of work which required new locks on my backyard gate which he did for me at a very reasonable rate.
