I went there last night to get a bottle of wine and was pleasantly surprised by 1) how clean and organize the store is 2) they have an extensive selection of wine at a reasonable price point 3) customer service was just stellar. Kiazer (excuse the spelling!) was very knowledgeable about wines, provided superb recommendation and was efficiently accommodating. I even walked out with an extra bottle of wine! **A TRUE DEFINITION OF A CORNER STORE!!** I came across this today (1/9/14) as I was driving down 19th Ave and needed to find me some snacks before going to the Richmond part of SF. I walk in and OH BOY!! Can you say SNACKS!! This store carries a variety of different chips, drinks, household goods and tobacco products. Look no further! What you want, they have here! I was walking about and knocking things over! HAHA its like that! Prices are decent, however, for people like me that like to use your debit card please note that you have to have a minimum of $10 without gaining a 75 cent fee. If not $10, be prepared to pay that extra 75 cents :( The owners here are so nice and sweet! I would definitely come back here again I was excited to see all the wine selections that they have here. A group of friends and I stopped here on our way to drink at Golden Gate park and we were NOT disappointed! The selection was great, we were able to grab wine, High Noons, and they even had some of the Buzz Balls that are on the internet right now. On top of that, I was wildly hungover and craving a Bloody Mary. The canned drinks they sell there by Cutwater Spirits are AMAZING. I grabbed a canned Bloody Mary and it was actually delicious. The best part of the store, however, was the owner Big Lou! He was HILARIOUS, hospitable, and kept my friends and I entertained with stories and life lessons while we waited inside for our Uber. He even gave us some bottle opener keychains. I told him I was going to write a yelp review for his store before we had even left, he made that great of an impression. A usual neighborhood convenience store. I came in here today for a bag of Doritos Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips since I was really hungry. This store carries: - Potato Chips, Corn Chips, Tortilla Chips - Plain Bottled Water, Soda, Vitamin Water and Starbucks Coffee Bottled Beverages These are pretty much some of the items you'll see when you walk into any convenience store. There are cigarettes wine and alcoholic beverages available. Lottery tickets are also available here at this authorized retail location. This is one of the convenience stores I'll turn to if I ever need a bag of chips with a bottle of soda or vitamin water. If you are in this area looking for a store to something to satisfy your thirst and hunger, then Nineteenth Ave Liquors will be the place to turn to. One thing that makes this spot even better would be the bus stop for MUNI route 28 right in front. These neighborhood convenience stores a bit smaller than a usual 7-11 store you visit. The owners who run this store were very nice! If you are out on 19th Ave & Noriega St looking for something to munch, then come into Nineteenth Ave Liquors to check out the selection of snack food and beverage items. There's this younger man that works there with no customer service experience at all. Me and my fiancé walk into the store. We look around for not even 1 minute, and he comes up to us and says "are you guy going to check out?". We were confused so we needed him to repeat himself. He then says "I need you guys to check out so I can eat my meal." I told him we weren't even going to take long. I can tell he got embarrassed, because of the way we looked at him, and how we walked away. It only took us less than 5 minutes to grab everything we needed. Once we got to the counter to check out, he proceeds to ask my fiancé personal questions. When we left the store, my fiancé complained how rude, weird, and awkward he is. Btw he's pretty damn slow at his job. Last week I went in to get cigs and he took his time before checking me out. I'll still be coming to this place because it's convenient, but if this dude acts like this again, imma have to say something to his face. read more

The rudest and most unprofessional cashier ever! He was a young maybe 20 something year old possibly Hispanic man. I asked politely if I could get a lotto ticket and he looked at me up and down and replied, "That costs money." Yes, I know that costs money, which is why I wanted to get one, as in purchase one. I said, yes, I would like to purchase a lotto ticket. He rolled his eyes and said we don't take credit cards, only cash. I only had a $20 bill on me and then he said there was no change so I had to buy $20 cash in lottery tickets. What?! I said how could this be. I also saw him not charge another customer in front of me because they were friends. He just let his friend come in and walk out with a bunch of free beer and snacks. They get an extra star for actually having Budweiser Chelada (deliciousness in a can that gets you buzzed) and a jar of sweet peppers for my nachos (coz I need an extra kick for my cheese). The only issue is... these items are not readily on display. You have to ask the guy behind the counter if they have it. There are two guys who alternate manning this small lickasto: one is scary looking who I described in my original review, and the other is more pleasantly plump and has a good-natured face. 19th Ave. Liquors is a pretty small liquor store, but they have a surprisingly wide selection of wines. None of them are chilled, but if you were expecting them to be, you're in the wrong place. The beer selection is alright with some seasonals and local brews. The best part is the large porno mag selection right by the front door. You can't see it as you walk in, so be ready to be greeted by glossy paper boobs on your way out. read more

This is my spot. I can make it in here get two 22's and a bag of Doritos and be back to my couch in under five minutes, well that is if I make the light across 19th AVE. There are three people who work here and I can't remember their names for the life of me except the owner Big Lou who is a really nice guy and deserves my business. Big Lou is the type of guy who isn't your typical liquor storeowner who is trying to be your best friend and call you boss every time you come in but is an honest good businessman. His wife, and some other skinny gentleman in his 40's are always friendly. The employees are never on their phone or too busy to deal with you and although I've never bought anything other than 22's chips and an occasional six of Anchor I do have to admit these are a little pricy but it's less than one minute from this keyboard to the liquor isle so what ya ganna do? I just wish they didn't close at 8PM on Sundays but I do live out in the burbs. read more

I live only a block from here, so this is my place to go if I want to pick up a sixer and some snacks. I've only encountered the owner and his wife, and they are both nice people. They have a good beer selection, a bit overpriced, but not more so than any other liquor store. You can always find at least 6-7 beers that will be 6 or 7 for a sixer, so thats not too bad. They take credit/debit cards, but its 50 cents if you are spending less than $10, which is very reasonable. read more

They have a pretty wide selection, but it's all crammed into a tiny store. They've also got snacks (from Clif Bars to Flaming Hot Cheetos) and other things you might need for a good evening. Dropped by this corner store today, to purchase a powerball ticket! So, I never play the Lotto, but 500 million is 500 million and I have just as good of a chance as anybody! Anyway, I didn't have any cash, so i asked if i could use my debit card. The owner stated "yes", but with a 2 dollar transaction fee. I didn't have my phone and couldn't transfer the funds to my checking! To make a long story short, I asked for a 5 dollar quick pick? Duh I didn't know it is 2 dolls a line! I recently went to the store and encountered the nicest people in the world. I met the new owners louie and waffa. They have their kids running around the store. They have completly remodeled the whole store. They try their best to make sure all customers are happy, They added alot of new things like more grocery items and a large selection of irish and english items. this place is grossly overpriced for what they sell, but what can i say, zebe is my guy! there's something about being able to go grab ice cream between commercial breaks that keeps me coming back. there's something about the owner knowing exactly how much wine, liquor and ice cream i buy without judging me that keeps me coming back. not only does the guy behind the counter know my name, but he knows my roommates and asks about them and how they're doing each time i come in. i'm addicted to the customer service and will continue to buy from them, even if i could save $20 bucks from going the extra 10 blocks to safeway. read more
