The owner herself did my hair, and right from the start, it was unprofessional. She didn't even put the drape on me--she told me to do it myself. When I specifically told her that I don't like toner and didn't want it, she pushed it on me anyway. Against my better judgment, I ended up letting her do the toner, and it completely ruined the color I had in mind. Instead of the bright blonde I asked for, the toner made my hair look dull, flat, and ashy. It destroyed the existing blonde I had before and left me feeling so disappointed. When I expressed my concerns, she did not care at all. She didn't offer to fix it, add highlights, or do anything to make it right. Her attitude was dismissive, her energy was bad, and the entire experience felt unprofessional. I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and with hair I absolutely hate. I will never return to this salon, and I do not recommend it to anyone. I'm leaving the blonde picture of my highlights that I always have achieved with other stylist with no toner and the dull toner version from my experience at this salon.

I've reached out to her with pictures and videos of how terrible my hair is, and she refuses to even acknowledge her faults, though I sent her photos . The worst of the worst . She's incredibly prideful and so greedy. She spent 9 hours doing a keratin treatment because of how incredibly slow she is. I walked in at 4:00 p.m. It was 1:30 Am and we were not even done with the treatment. I went home with my hair half done, which naturally meant that I had to come back. Chantal tried to charge me $50 for having to come back . She has no soul . I walked in to do a braidless sew-in. I walked in at 5:30. It was 2:30 am and I was still in that chair. She tried to charge me $35 extra to detangle my hair during the keratin treatment. The product she used must have been expired . My hair is freezing up worse than before the keratin treatment. She took 8 hours to do it . After all that, my hair extensions are already coming out of my head after just 5 days of being in . Instead of trying to compensate me or do the work over, she proceeded to block me. Incredible immature , unprofessional, and very, very greedy . The worst. Please don't do there. I got my hair done in February 2026 . I even tried to ask her for a partial refund on Cash App, which she refuses to give out . Don't trust her. Never pay her with cash or Cash App.

I scheduled an appointment for Balayage after she assured me could deal with my hair type. My hair came out not even close to the picture or Balayage technique. It's just stringy yellow highlights. After agreeing with me that it was off , Kim asked me to go the next day to fix it. NO problem.... then the next day she text me that she's cancelling because she charges $100 and hour and my hair has already used a lot of her product and time . I don't mind that my hair was going to need to be fixed , but I do mind the unprofessionalism of her not fixing what she did wrong because she would lose money. What about me ? It costs me time AND she put highlights at the tippy too of my head (opposite of Balayage!!) and now I have to pay to have it fixed. She decided to refund my money - but I caution anyone with actual curly hair to see her pictures and notice they aren't really Hispanic people with thick hair. When I came in, I had the most anxiety, but she sat me down and made me feel comfortable and at ease. She made sure to listen to all of my concerns with my hair and my growing out gray journey. Before the service, I came in for a consultation and provided photos of my hair up in rods at a previous perm and the end result of that perm (neon sweatshirt pic), which is what I wanted to repeat. Stylist Sam expressed no doubt or hesitation at all that she could achieve that, and I came back three weeks later for the perm. After back and forth emails with photos, salon owner refunded the $182 perm charge but declined to refund the $56 haircut charge and $47.60 gratuity or offer any remedy for my hair. The reason she declined to return the gratuity was: "you had the opportunity to decide whether or not to leave a gratuity after seeing the outcome, and you chose to do so." The flaw with that logic: I did not leave the gratuity after seeing the outcome. I tipped immediately after the appointment, before the final result was apparent. The owner herself even asked me to wait the 48 hours after the perm, then shampoo and style as normal before making her decision how to proceed. She may want her to stylists to keep all their tips, and that's noble; however, she also has the ability to refund me out of the salon budget, instead. And while on a receipt, a cut and a perm are separate charges, in reality the haircut is inseparable from the curl. It's all the same hair. The cut should have been refunded, too. Otherwise, it's like charging a diner $6 for extra chicken on a salad even though the server dropped the whole plate on the floor. It's all one "dish," and it's all going to have to be re-done. Salon owner said the stylist would "want nothing more than to make this right for you" and the stylist would "personally reach out to you with a plan for any adjustments that may be needed." I never heard from the stylist herself, and no plan was given other than a partial refund for what I paid that day. Bottom line: after the perm, I am left with LESS curl than I walked in with, less length to work with for any type of remedy haircut, more chemical hair stress, and $93 fewer dollars. I'll have to find another salon to try to do some type of spot chemical correction or creative layers in my hair, which is now a mess of partial-length wavy parts, nearly straight parts, and curls. With the exception of her addressing me by a nickname I dislike so much that I indicate not to call me that in all my default email signatures, I appreciated Kymber's professional communication. We disagree about what the remedy should be. Sam was very pleasant to spend time with. I suspect this place is fine for modern or trendy styles and colors, but that's not what I asked for.
