This school is filled with rude, disrespectful, bad built teachers and staff that think they are "helping" the students when in reality they are making it worse. They are not organized with anything AT ALL, don't tell students about schedules, events, or anything important. Give information LAST MINUTE and then tell you "oh well nothing i can do" when it's genuinely their fault.They are setting these students up for failure, this school SUCKS the teachers are creeps and love kids do NOT come here. They gave these students hours A WEEK before FINALS and expected them to make them all up by the end of that week when most students had like 30+ hours to make up.. that's unrealistic especially for the students who have JOBS and finals to do. They are trying to hold students back from graduating with their classmates in June and telling these students who got the hours "oh you can always graduate in August" who wants to do that? No one. This is insane and unbelievable, you guys suck and need to do better. Organize better and communicate better. These staff members don't think about the students they only think about themselves and what they want to stuff their faces with for lunch. This year (2024) has been the WORST year for Klein Oak and klein isd period. I came to klein because my mom's friend told her that klein schools were great!! klein schools suck. they say they have a great education system, okay yeah maybe for some kids but most kids can't even tell the difference between a state and a country.That same friend has recently took her kid out of the district because of the RACISM , not only from the students but from the STAFF too. Some kids got into a fist fight because someone looked at someone. Parents, do your research, my parents didn't and now I suffer. There is so much homework, locker rooms have decaying rats. Wish I didn't go here. If I could give zero stars, I would. Communication from the administration is inconsistent, and concerns from students and parents don't seem to be taken seriously. The environment feels disorganized, and policies are enforced unevenly. Some teachers clearly care, but overall the school culture needs major improvement. Students deserve better support, structure, and accountability than what's currently being provided.

I found the outcome of the course to be disappointing, and it has led me to question whether I was evaluated fairly. Throughout the term, I felt there were opportunities for additional support or consideration that may have positively impacted my performance. My primary goal at Chamberlain University College of Nursing has always been to focus on my education and succeed academically. I found the coursework itself to be manageable; however, my overall experience in the course did not reflect that. Additionally, I experienced moments that made me feel uncomfortable, and at times I felt I may have been treated differently. I am not certain of the reasons, but the situation has been concerning. My first (and only) day there, I sat in on a SAT prep class. The teacher had trouble solving some of the problems and the istudents seemed bewildered. To make matters worse, the teachers berated students who had difficulty solving the problems. I have never seen anything like that in all my 15 years of teaching. At the end of the day, I tried to confirm with the head of the school (the person who hired me at $5000 per month) that my salary would be $5000 per month. He said, 'No your salary is going to be $25 per hour.' Not bad, but not close to the promised and confirmed $5000 per month. I had had enough, and I told the head of school that I was not interested in working at Van Houston. Incredibly, a few days later, I got an email from the school falsely saying that I was not selected for the job! I believe they did this so that they could deflect any bad reviews such as this one. The school building is not in good condition. For example, the a/c did not seem to be working well and the classroom I was in got very warm. There might have been drinking fountains, but I did not see any. There also did not appear to be a paper towel dispenser or an air dryer in the boys restroom.

I struggled with transferring credits, and my grades slipped as I could not catch up despite asking for help and going to tutorials. As I was playing catch up, completely overwhelmed, the college counselor disregarded me and told me maybe college just isn't for me, and wouldn't help me. My mom is from Germany and my dad went into the army at 17 so neither were able to help me, so it was detrimental when I didn't receive actual counsel from my school. I was personally bullied by the MCJROTC teacher due to being the child of an army vet. The teacher told my mom that maybe if she'd buy her lunch, I'd get more benefits in class, at which point I was removed from JROTC. And even more alarmingly, there have been sexual assaults throughout the years, including last year, that the school has relentlessly swept under the rug. This being actual rapes that are not being pursued with legal action by campus police, but rather victim blaming after full blown rape, and simple 3 day suspension of the rapist being the only action taken. This is not the only time this has happened and there have been numerous teachers throughout this district that have had relations with minors. I am appalled by the schools actions in academics, student/teacher and student/student interaction, and even legal situations like the rape of a special needs student. Something has to change, this is not a safe place for learning or even being.

In the class, I learned about new test-taking strategies, and I got a good review of all of the topics on the test. Most importantly, though, I got exposure to practice materials consistently throughout the course. I had to miss a few classes due to preexisting plans, and Testmasters was very flexible. They gave me access to the online course videos for the days that I missed so I could catch up on my own time. The teachers in the class were all really interesting, funny, and engaging. They knew my classmates and I were on vacation, so they put in a lot of effort to make the classes fun. Each day, lessons were filled with games and joke, but, even though we kept things casual and had a good time, the course was still super informative. (Testmasters also lightened the mood by bringing pizza or candy to each class, something they do for all of their courses.) Güs and Askari really stood out to me as excellent teachers. They knew their material well, and they kept class fun and exciting. For standardized testing, I believe that practice makes perfect, and I'm sure Testmasters would agree with me. Included with my course was Exam Club, a weekend service where you can go to a Testmasters location and take a practice ACT or SAT. Between the end of my course and when I took my ACT (February) I went to Exam Club every weekend possible. Each week, I saw my score go up a bit. I ended up getting a perfect 36 on the ACT thanks to Testmasters, and I would recommend their course to anyone looking for a standardized test prep program.

Do not sign up for this. You are wasting your money and time, go to a better course. They also do not give you a refund if you do not get your guaranteed 200+ score, only offering you extra classes. How is the extra classes supposed to help if the classes I paid for didn't even improve my score?
