I heard about Meats by John & Wayne; wanting something more than a typical supermarket meat selection, I went there...and was pleased! The selection is quite impressive. While there is a small selection of seafood, what really shines here is all the sausages! There's Cajun sausage, bratwursts, snack sticks, breakfast links, potato sausage and more! There's plenty of pork options, chicken, duck, lamb and buffalo! The service is pretty good as there have two registers active when it is really busy and the amount of traffic I saw in the store convinced me it was a good choice for meats! This butcher shop is worth visiting.

They have the best steaks, ground beef, chops, and chicken around. The large selection and variety of sausages and brats is unparalleled. In the mood for seafood? Well, they regularly get fresh fish and other sea delights in each week (shrimp, scallops, etc.). There is even a chance you can get ground lamb and turkey too! Prime Cuts also has a nice little corner devoted to lunch meat/cheese, mustards, sauces, jellies and other condiments and side items. So, if you're looking for high quality meats sold by friendly and knowledge staff (feel free to ask them how to prepare certain cuts too...they know it all), then look no further than to Prime Cut Meats! You'll be happy you did!

When I entered, I was expecting to see very modernized items and perhaps a small grocery store. What I found was the total opposite. There are spacious rooms filled with various themed decor and quirky items. To the right there are antique kitchen items, handmade candles, gift items and more. To the left is what I would label the spell witch room stocked with astrology, Halloween decor, jewelry and spiritual items such as crystals, incense and other unique handmade items. The middle section has a fridge with sodas and other miscellaneous items along with magnets and other trinkets. Up the steps you will find a pet section including gear, toys and treats, a 90's area with videos and swag along with unique Fargo specific goods such as stickers, post cards, hand towels and more. Give yourself time to explore this shop accordingly. There are so many items to comb through. Totally my favorite shop in Fargo. Enjoy!!!

What a sinfully great combination! We also had a one-pound Assorted Chocolate Gift Box that came packaged in a gold gift box. It was an eclectic mix of milk, dark, and white chocolate creams, jellies, solid chocolates, and nut clusters with a few Jordan Almonds tossed in for good measure. The chocolate was high quality, and we really enjoyed them.

Store was quite busy with I would say about 10-12 people, I get to the counter and ask for a box of "Chippers" which I was then told the price of and realized maybe I should get a second box being the price was lower than what I was expecting/allowing to spend. The woman behind the counter then told me if I was wanting a second box I would have to go to the end and get back in line. I initially thought she may have been joking, but was being quite serious, and I again reassured, "get back in line for a second box of chippers that you just pulled out from a box behind the counter?" to which she replied "Yes." I replied with "No I don't want to do all of that I'll just take the one then." Which was no issue at all, slight confusion on my part but I respected the rules that were in place. What I then had an issue with was in reply to my comment about just taking the one box, the employee then said something under her breath and chuckled along with another coworker all while swiping my card for payment. At this point I was embarrassed and didn't want to continue at all with how I felt at the moment. Kind of a "Oh I came in here to get my family in on what I hear is amazing chocolate, just to get laughed at amongst employees behind the counter" moment. Honestly nothing crazy, but leaving the store after that small occurrence made me not want the product altogether, linking it to a bad experience with the employees. Great products and all but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and a feeling of regret for stopping in altogether.
