First of all, just the building's looks on the outside and inside are very interesting. It likes somewhat like a house and has a front porch. Inside has a warm feel, almost like a cabin. It has a hippy vibe. I don't buy a bunch of stuff here, as I mostly come for popcorn kernels, rice, beans, vitamin-type stuff (Tumeric, Elderberry, CBD, etc.), acid-free coffee and then impulse buys like a craft soda or a bison beef stick. If the vitamins and beans/rice/etc are up your alley, they have a large selection. Also items that may fit certain food restrictions or preferences. A nice selection of international foods too. Most of the products are dry goods but they also have several refrigerators and freezers. I've heard good things about their farm fresh eggs, but I have never bought any. And there are other items I'm not mentioning that I've not paid attention to. I don't believe they have fresh produce, so don't necessarily look at this place like a grocery store.

They also have a great selection of Scandinavian cookbooks (don't worry-they're in English), cookware, treats, bake mixes, clothing, home decor, etc....even if you don't get anything, it's most definitely a fun little shop to explore, and the ladies who run the cash register are so sweet. This is probably our favorite shop in downtown Fargo hands down.

No you people in there are just lazy AF! How can you have a fish & meat section with a butchery in the back & you dont cut your meat or scale your fish? And on top of it, majority of your food is expired. This is how you treat your customers? The gal was knowledgeable and happy to help. We were able to try before buying, and that convinced us to pick up 2 extra cheeses. The walls and refrigerator cases are painted in matted black so the lighted display sections really jump out. The meat and deli sections are well stocked with large choices. Surprised to find very decent sushi, albeit too heavy on the rice, in the heart of the country. Staff members are Dakota nice. Many have gone out of their way to make this occasional customer who shops here less than once a month feel welcome. Whenever work brings me here, this is my go to grocery to stock up my hotel kitchenette for the week.
