Let me start off- this store is called *ALDI*- not ALDI's-- there's no 's' to be found anywhere in…read morethe name, it's just ALDI, alright?? (not to be aggressive, but my mom always puts an 's' on things when they AREN'T there, why is that such a mom thing?? lolll) The more I visit ALDI's, the more I like them. They're not a snobby, high end grocery stores by any means, and I love that. They sell a lot of the same things you can find at Target, Walmart or other, except for way better prices. I mean, this also means they are kind of random brands that no ones ever heard of, but they do the same thing for a lower price so I can't see why that would ever be a problem. Yes, ALDI doesn't have ALDI-eeze things (they don't have necessarily everything you might need in a store run, sorry I had to take that pun opportunity), of course, but this location in South Fargo has the most of a lot that I've seen. One of my favorite things to get here, randomly enough, is their protein powder. They have two simple flavors- vanilla and chocolate, but they're fantastically priced and taste really good post workouts, so if you're an active person I'd give them a try. Also, if you want to use a shopping cart when you go to ALDI, make sure you have a quarter on hand. I'll let you figure that out for yourself. Also, they don't provide bags of any kind for your items, so make sure you bring your own or buy one at checkout. Let's go ALDI way now- to ALDI! (slight cringe)

Not as busy as the other area locations in Fargo and it's conveniently located in downtown Mhd…read moreright off Main Ave. Great service by the staff too. The bakery ladies are wonderful and will often go out of their way in the name of service. If a price is wrong they are usually quick to notice and if it's marked lower than it should be, they will give you that item at the low price and take the loss (it happened to me recently in the dairy section). Lots of students working here but that's great because they are typically working during the busier hours and they have a lot of energy so waits are minimal. I wish they had as many sales on veggies as they do with fruit, especially tomatoes and spinach (the fresh spinach never goes on sale). But I'm lucky they stock it in the first place, as that's something many stores don't have (leaving only the frozen varieties).

They're having staffing problems. The staff are over worked or just rude. I'm not sure which with…read moretoday's behavior - keeping their backs on waiting customers, not responding to the questions asked, and making inappropriate gestures when they walk away. It's disappointing. The customer service desk was supposed to be open at 1030 according to the sign. An employee stood with their back turned to the two of us standing in line at 1038 and when I asked what time they believed it would open she snapped that it wasn't open yet and walked away. That wasn't what I asked. She could have acknowledged that two people were standing there and she could have answered our question that the person was late, or that they were going to have to keep it closed for longer due to something unforeseen. It wasn't too busy inside the store but maybe it had been before I entered. Though this isn't the first time this week that I attempted to use the customer service counter and it was closed unexpectedly. Disappointing!

I am probably not the healthiest guy in the world... Do my best to stay in shape, stay active with…read morethe kids, get my steps in. My doctor says I drink too much coffee, and probably eat too much meat. Always trying to convince me I should eat more grains, even though that's decidedly not keto. Still, I can always find something to buy at A Health Foods store, or get down with a big vegan muffin... That such purchases generally coincide with being in the company of my better half to some health nut store... I mean health food store... probably the only reason that I stepped foot into this establishment on our summer road trip. So what if we had just stopped in the parking lot at a fast food place to load up on crap food for the kids? He say that like it's a bad thing! My wife, who doesn't care much for fast-food grade ground beef, Convinced me to duck into this supermarket with her to look around. Maybe I'm just a SoCal supermarket snob, but I was actually impressed with the store. Well-stocked and well appointed with all the usual stuff you would find in a place like this. Monk fruit sweetener? Get out of here! Pea milk and oat milk and hemp milk and antimatter milk? We'll they had most of those. My better half grabbed a few things, and we were on our way. Plenty of fresh produce, prepackaged items, and what looked like a pretty nice selection of health supplements. The usual natural items like shampoo and lotion that I imagine wasn't tested on animals. Which is cool. Carnivore Luddites like me can still enjoy a quinoa salad, a tofurkey sandwich on sprouted bread, or dipping organic pita chips into Not-cho cheese. Air popped things and ovolacto-vegetarian omelets from free range chickens. All good to me. If the previous paragraph describes a goodly portion of your lifestyle, you should give the store a look.

This place was not that busy on a weekday afternoon. There were lines formed at checkout, but we were able to get through at a reasonable time.
