Dr. Coffelt is one of the best, if not the best, therapists I've ever worked with, in my 20+ years of therapy. Certainly the best Couple Counselor my husband and I have worked with. She deserves more than 5 out of 5 star, so this comes as a high recommendation to anyone considering her services. My husband and I sought her out in November 2020, and have been working with her on and off since then (going on 4+ years). Given we started working with her at the height of the pandemic, she offered her services remotely, which we appreciate. This allows her to meet us where we are, which these days is typically behind a computer. However, this does not prevent her from creating an authentic connection with her patients, built on trust and compassion. She helps to instantly ground us into the present moment, down-regulating our nervous system, within the first few minutes of the session, allowing us to fully tune into the priorities of the meeting. The virtual environment allows for flexibility but does not take away from creating a safe, contained space for us to work through difficult conversations. Nicole's approach is often rooted in scientific facts or academic psychological principles that help provide an objective point of view into what otherwise is traditionally a subjective, emotions-based conversation. She deploys great tactics to promote equality between the two parties, making each one of us feel equally heard and seen during her sessions. She does a great job at the top of the call helping us set intentions, and then holds us accountable to them throughout. We love the tangible "homework" assignments she gives us, never asking more than we can handle, but pushing us towards our "growth edge", as she refers to. Dr. Coffelt has significantly improved our lives and our marriage, and we feel so grateful to have her in our corner. Deep bows to Nicole, who lead us, and the women who were called to the circle along with me. It was a transformative experience and I was reminded of the incredible power of women's work; especially when we can come together for a higher purpose- even if it's to do deeply painful shadow work. I had the opportunity to have a life changing experience. Something that had been boiling beneath the surface of my life for almost 30 years was revealed and introduced to me over the course of the group meets. It was exhilarating and scary, of course, but with Nicole's facilitation and the support of the other women in the group it was doable. Dr. Nikki is cold, manipulative, and unprofessional and I sincerely hope that anybody considering going to her first reads in order to save precious time, money, and emotional distress. I have saved emails and text messages as proof that I am happy to refer to to back up my argument. I am so disappointed having seen her true colors. Dr. Nikki attempted to scam me into paying $200 by asserting that i had not given her 48 hours notice cancellation. I assume her logic was that I am in my early 20's and would be easily manipulated. When I resent her the email as proof that I had, in fact, given her that notice, she claimed that I had tampered with the timestamp and that email did not match her records. When I asked her to send the email that was in her records, she refused, claiming her word was enough. Dr. Nikki is anything but a healer. I am so distraught from this experience and so passionate about not having anyone else go through this, that I am happy to provide additional details and hard evidence. I really advise you to think twice before seeing Dr. Nikki, especially if you are already in a weakened state and seeking healing. read more

I saw Nicole for about 10 months last year. She is very warm and professional all at the same time. She is skilled at creating an atmosphere where you can delve into those internal places where you may not want to go with yourself, but know that you have to in order to heal and grow. She is a strong therapist with an activist background, influenced by Carl Jung, Somatics and liberation/civil rights movements. She has the education, experience and intuition that make up a really good therapist.
