I had a very strange conversation with Corinne. I was recommended Wholistic Kids by several friends…read morewho said Dr. Katiraei is wonderful so I feel it's not him but he should strongly consider replacing her. I was very interested in the practice, ok with cost and expected to pay majority out of pocket if not completely. A long story but we are used to that and even though I kept saying so, she kept cutting me off and saying nothing would be reimbursed. I constantly felt like she was trying to drive me away which was so weird! I asked several times if they were accepting new patients or not and she wouldn't give me a clear answer until the end that they were - even though she seemed to be actively trying to talk me out of it the whole call. I also told her we'd be switching insurance and she wouldn't really hear it. She just kept saying they didn't take our insurance even though I said several times that I was ok with paying out of pocket! Lol. She also assumed I didn't live close and was saying she wasn't sure if I'd want to drive two hours in traffic with a sick child especially because the Dr. is only there 3 days a week and does no after hours care. She then caught herself and realized she didn't know where I lived but it was a strange sort of profiling type of thing I'm not sure what she had decided about me? She also asked for the names of friends who referred me and when I gave them, she acted like I was making them up or something. Then I said the child's name and she said "oh I would only know the kids name not the parents," as if it was stupid I had said the parent's name. Mind you, the 10 year old child did not refer me to the pediatrician, their parent did. Then at the end of the call she said I hope to hear from you and it was very strange and seemed fake. Especially since she spent majority of the call kind of trying to talk me out of going there. I hope this review and the others regarding Corinne can lead to some change because from all I've heard Dr. Katiraei is lovely and offers wonderful care. But it was not the cost, nor distance nor out of pocket that bothered me. It was the thought of having to deal with Corinne ongoing. She handles new patients so if you're checking out Wholistic kids I would recommend seeing if you can speak with someone else and just get the facts so you can decide for yourself based on the care, untarnished by her input.

My husband found wholistic Kids and families right before my son was born. When we interviewed…read morewith Dr. K we immediately knew he was the right fit for our family. My son is 6 and 1/2 now and there's not enough time to explain what an amazing experience we've had over the years. Dr K is amazing! He listens to any concerns (I had many about vaccines) and we worked together to find the right path for our son. The staff has always been cordial and loving with my son. Thank you Dr K for all you do for our family!

We visited Dr. Trafeli numerous times for our daughter Katherine who experienced encephalitis…read moreshortly after birth. She was diagnosed with CP, TBI, autism and seizure disorder. Dr. Trafeli was brilliant (and very patient) when working with her. He is extremely gifted and we are grateful to say that Katherine has NOT experienced any seizures for 9 years (a true miracle) since Dr. Trafeli worked with her. We beyond grateful!

Dr. Robert Trafeli is top of his field: a salute to Osteopathy…read more Let me first say that I have been in and out of deep and debilitating pain for nearly two decades. Osteopathy has more than saved my life, it has given me hope for the quality of life without pain. I have tried everything over the years: acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, cranial sacral manipulation, all of it. And although these modalities have often helped temporarily, it is not until I was able to find Osteopathic medical care that I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I've been lucky to work with the best doctors in this field. I began my journey with Dr. Gregory Yesensky, who was able to save mobility in my right arm and neck after a debilitating accident. When Yesensky moved away I was terrified...knowing that the deep intuitive care of an Osteopath was my most precious necessity. It has been my honor and joy to work with Dr. Robert Trafeli. My first session with him relieved me of built up pain and blockages in my body and allowed the flow of oxygen and realignment that I needed to reset my body. His meticulous and intuitive care is a lifesaver for me. I cannot say enough praise about this Doctor, and this care. Osteopathy is the integration of so many different health care modalities that people do not understand...and the only way that I was able to understand is by experiencing the life/pain saving difference in my own body. Thank you for saving me.

I am shocked at the reviews here. I had gotten Dr. Read's name from a friend and decided to give…read moreher a try. First, a little background. I went into my regular family practice Doctor, whom I had been a patient for 7 years, because I was feeling tired, etc. She told me I was fine, despite me never having complained before. I was feeling annoyed when I bumped into a friend and she gave me Dr. Read's number. Appointments: I have always been able to make appointments easily online or by phone. Parking: There is metered street parking, but a garage underneath as well. Office: Staff has always been very friendly and not only greeted me but has offered and brought me drinks. I like that there is an outside waiting room and and inside, more private, waiting room. Place feels more like a medical spa versus a doctor's office. Doctor's bedside manner: EXCELLENT! She takes the time to listen and thoroughly explains her thoughts and plans. Results: OUTSTANDING. Every minor complaint I had, has been resolved. Further, she was so effective, that my husband was jealous and went in to see her and had the same experience. Additionally, I asked her for a recommendation for a specialist for my son and had a fantastic experience with that doctor, too. I would say the only cons are that she doesn't take insurance and its pricey. But, it's been worth it for my family.

No active communication - all passive. I can't stress enough how transactional this doctor felt. If you are going to spend this money, it better be worth it. This was not.
