I am shocked at the reviews here. I had gotten Dr. Read's name from a friend and decided to give…read moreher a try. First, a little background. I went into my regular family practice Doctor, whom I had been a patient for 7 years, because I was feeling tired, etc. She told me I was fine, despite me never having complained before. I was feeling annoyed when I bumped into a friend and she gave me Dr. Read's number. Appointments: I have always been able to make appointments easily online or by phone. Parking: There is metered street parking, but a garage underneath as well. Office: Staff has always been very friendly and not only greeted me but has offered and brought me drinks. I like that there is an outside waiting room and and inside, more private, waiting room. Place feels more like a medical spa versus a doctor's office. Doctor's bedside manner: EXCELLENT! She takes the time to listen and thoroughly explains her thoughts and plans. Results: OUTSTANDING. Every minor complaint I had, has been resolved. Further, she was so effective, that my husband was jealous and went in to see her and had the same experience. Additionally, I asked her for a recommendation for a specialist for my son and had a fantastic experience with that doctor, too. I would say the only cons are that she doesn't take insurance and its pricey. But, it's been worth it for my family.

Unfortunately, this is a $25K scam. I've never experienced a more transactional doctors office…read more This is run like a business - cattle, not humans. $25K to walk through the door, $500 per additional session. No active communication - all passive. I can't stress enough how transactional this doctor felt. If you are going to spend this money, it better be worth it. This was not.

I had a very strange conversation with Corinne. I was recommended Wholistic Kids by several friends…read morewho said Dr. Katiraei is wonderful so I feel it's not him but he should strongly consider replacing her. I was very interested in the practice, ok with cost and expected to pay majority out of pocket if not completely. A long story but we are used to that and even though I kept saying so, she kept cutting me off and saying nothing would be reimbursed. I constantly felt like she was trying to drive me away which was so weird! I asked several times if they were accepting new patients or not and she wouldn't give me a clear answer until the end that they were - even though she seemed to be actively trying to talk me out of it the whole call. I also told her we'd be switching insurance and she wouldn't really hear it. She just kept saying they didn't take our insurance even though I said several times that I was ok with paying out of pocket! Lol. She also assumed I didn't live close and was saying she wasn't sure if I'd want to drive two hours in traffic with a sick child especially because the Dr. is only there 3 days a week and does no after hours care. She then caught herself and realized she didn't know where I lived but it was a strange sort of profiling type of thing I'm not sure what she had decided about me? She also asked for the names of friends who referred me and when I gave them, she acted like I was making them up or something. Then I said the child's name and she said "oh I would only know the kids name not the parents," as if it was stupid I had said the parent's name. Mind you, the 10 year old child did not refer me to the pediatrician, their parent did. Then at the end of the call she said I hope to hear from you and it was very strange and seemed fake. Especially since she spent majority of the call kind of trying to talk me out of going there. I hope this review and the others regarding Corinne can lead to some change because from all I've heard Dr. Katiraei is lovely and offers wonderful care. But it was not the cost, nor distance nor out of pocket that bothered me. It was the thought of having to deal with Corinne ongoing. She handles new patients so if you're checking out Wholistic kids I would recommend seeing if you can speak with someone else and just get the facts so you can decide for yourself based on the care, untarnished by her input.

Adamant to explore non-surgical options, I was referred to Dr. Akhila Rose and I could not be happier!   First and foremost, She is the friendliest physician I have ever met, and puts 100% of her passion into each and every patient to make you feel comfortable, knowing she truly cares about your wellbeing; something I've not experienced with my prior hospital visits.  Her level of professionalism and thoroughness really made my experience memorable. But what's most impressive is how she's developed a 1-of-a-kind repertoire which combines her prestigious training of osteopathic manipulative medicine with a multitude of proprietary holistic practices that creates a truly customized and personal patient experience.  Not only was she able to heal my digestive and gallbladder pains, but also worked in areas where I was experiencing cranio-sacral neck and head pain. Her truly healing practice has always left me astounded in how quickly and naturally my pain has dissipated. Her mastery knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy made the osteopathic manipulative treatment instantaneously effective, as she not only targeted the problem areas instantaneously, but took the time to explain and educate me on the functions and behaviors of my body during the treatment! After dealing with countless hospital doctors who do nothing more than order tests and prescription medications to treat my symptoms temporarily, Dr. Rose cares deeply for my overall health and always puts her time and passion into creating improved mental, physical, and spiritual wellness for me as an individual. Such a blessing to have met Dr. Rose, and always look forward to seeing her!

Dr. Akhila has been an incredible blessing in my life. I am forever grateful to have met her…read morebecause she has helped me and my family in so many ways!!! She treated me with osteopathic manipulation, a whole body approach. She worked on my spine to calm down the nervous system. I had this excruciating back pain for which she treated me and oh my, I can say with full confidence that it was gone by the end of the treatment!!! She helped aligned my hips, legs and feet when my right leg was higher than the other. Through her healing, she found out that my right hip was rotated upwards and backwards and performed a muscle energy technique to align the hips and sacrum. She also worked on my skull doing craniosacral treatment, her hands are truly magic. I also had her perform light activation healing for my brother who suffers from schizophrenia, and his behavior had changed tremendously after the healing. Dr. Akhila is incredibly knowledgeable and a professional in her field, she truly cares about her patients. On your first visit you will truly see the difference in your body, mind, and emotions!!! Medication couldn't do what her hands could, a true blessing. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Dr. Robert Trafeli is top of his field: a salute to Osteopathy…read more Let me first say that I have been in and out of deep and debilitating pain for nearly two decades. Osteopathy has more than saved my life, it has given me hope for the quality of life without pain. I have tried everything over the years: acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, cranial sacral manipulation, all of it. And although these modalities have often helped temporarily, it is not until I was able to find Osteopathic medical care that I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I've been lucky to work with the best doctors in this field. I began my journey with Dr. Gregory Yesensky, who was able to save mobility in my right arm and neck after a debilitating accident. When Yesensky moved away I was terrified...knowing that the deep intuitive care of an Osteopath was my most precious necessity. It has been my honor and joy to work with Dr. Robert Trafeli. My first session with him relieved me of built up pain and blockages in my body and allowed the flow of oxygen and realignment that I needed to reset my body. His meticulous and intuitive care is a lifesaver for me. I cannot say enough praise about this Doctor, and this care. Osteopathy is the integration of so many different health care modalities that people do not understand...and the only way that I was able to understand is by experiencing the life/pain saving difference in my own body. Thank you for saving me.

I refer many of my patients to Dr. Hagopian and know with confidence that they are in great hands, no pun intended. Dr. Hagopian is superb in his knowledge of the body, his ability to determine the issue/s, and the intelligence that you can literally feel in his hands when he's working on you. He recognizes unique body patterns and habits and is able to unravel them swiftly. He teases out compensations from primary problems and is able to provide feedback on how to break the cycles so patterns can be interrupted and change can occur.

I…read morebrought my toddler in to see Dr. Hagopian a year ago and he was such a gentle, warm, kind, smart, and caring doctor. I believe he helped my young son, and even though he did end up getting surgery, seeing Dr Hagopian did help. I think the world of Dr. Hagopian and would recommend him to friends (which I have) or anyone needing his healing hands. Now, regarding his office staff, it's a different story. From even a year ago I remember them being noticeably short, rude, and showing no sympathy or bedside manner whatsoever. It is so surprising to me that a caring doctor with such positive energy would have people working for him who are completely unlike him. Just recently, my son fell and hit his head on concrete giving him an alarming and sizable bump on his head. I recall Dr. Hagopian telling me that he specialized in treating children (and adults) with head injuries so I thought of him, and sent some pictures via text to simply ask if he thought it was serious (seeking his initial opinion). All I got was a response from someone in his office (maybe it was Patty?) saying "Yes, we got all the pictures. Would you like to bring him in?". She then called me and just starting throwing dates at me, without addressing my question to get his opinion. When I asked about that, she was so rude and squawked "he said just what I told you!" She had no concern for my questions, or well-being of my son, or at least that is how I certainly felt (every time I have dealt with the office staff). She was so short and rude that I was so turned off and just got off the phone. Frankly, I just expect a little concern or respect from a doctor's office versus feeling like I'm being scolded, especially when we are calling about distressful situations. When one pays top prices for a specialized doctor, you would think there would be some kind of customer service (or at least some sort of impression that they care) that comes with that. It's too bad, because I would really like to continue seeing Dr. Hagopian and bringing my children (and my family) to see him for regular holistic treatments, but the people in his office leave an impression too, as that is a part of the whole experience...
