I'm a reasonably competitive tennis player who began to experience lower back pain in my mid-30's…read morethat has gotten progressively worse over the last 4 years. Although I could play through my lower back pain for a long time, I reached the end of my pain threshold in the immediate aftermath of abruptly stretching right to make a volley 7 months ago. As I hobbled back to my car after I finished hitting with my friend that afternoon, it occurred to me that I was in too much pain to continue playing tennis for a good while. Alas, I stopped playing tennis for 4 months, and the immobilizing inflammation in my lower back hadn't waned at all. I finally decided to get more proactive, and I heard about Regenokine treatments from a sibling of mine that benefitted greatly from them as well as testimonials from the likes of Kobe Bryant and other famous athletes that unequivocally say that Regenokine treatments/injections diminished their joint pain considerably, thereby prolonging and revitalizing their athletic careers just when they had started to consider retiring from their chosen sport instead. Given my passion for tennis and my wish to keep playing and improving, I had my Regenokine treatments under the care of Dr. Ben-Roohi at Lifespan Medicine in Santa Monica, CA on October 5th, 2015. First of all, I want to share with you that Dr. Ben-Roohi is a very knowledgeable, compassionate, sensitive, and results-oriented spinal surgeon. I felt very at ease in his hands, literally!! I received injections from him on 4 successive days in October, and I found the injections to be relatively painless. I attribute my feelings of relative comfort to the procedure itself, along with Dr. Ben-Roohi and his nurse's warm and reassuring bedside manner... It's been nearly two months since my last Regenokine treatment with Dr. Ben-Roohi. After patiently waiting to resume playing tennis for 3 weeks after my last injection, I eagerly began to hit with friends, and then I started to play matches against solid opposition after that. At this point I would say that the pain in my lower back is (on average) 75 percent less than it was prior to receiving Regenokine treatments from Dr. Ben-Roohi. I even have days when I feel 85 percent well!! On the other hand, I do experience days when my back flares up, and I feel only 40-50 percent better than I did prior to seeing Dr. Ben-Roohi. According to Dr. Ben-Roohi and the doctor who invented Regenokine, Dr. Peter Wehling, people who receive Regenokine treatments almost always experience lots of positive days as well as days when their inflammation flares up again. The good news is that the people who experience flare ups recover from them far more quickly than they would otherwise had they not had Regenokine treatments. As for me, I can personally attest to recovering much more quickly from the days when my lower back pain flares up as a result of having received my Regenokine injections a few months ago. In conclusion, I want to say that Dr. Ben-Roohi and Lifespan Medicine offered me an opportunity to turn back the clock and feel younger, more agile, and more mobile again on and off the tennis court. The only drawbacks to receiving Regenokine treatment for your inflammation, arthritis, herniated disks, or what have you is the cost: It is very expensive. In addition, the relief that the average patient receives from Regenokine treatment typically lasts only 2-4 years. Regardless, I want to give Lifespan Medicine two thumbs up for their professionalism, thoroughness, and for their great results!! Heck, I'm back to playing competitive tennis again!! I will say that I lost last weekend to a guy that I know that I can beat, and I left the tennis court feeling crestfallen and deflated... But I digress... Update: Although Dr. Ben-Roohi is a very warm-hearted, well-intentioned, and deeply caring doctor, I feel compelled to share with anyone reading my review that after spending an exorbitant amount of money receiving Regenokine injections to improve the inflammation and chronic pain in my lower back, the wonderful benefits that I received from my Regenokine treatments only lasted 5 months in lieu of the 1-4 years of lower back relief that Dr. Ben-Roohi believed I would receive.. I would not recommend Regenokine treatments to anyone, as the positive benefits I received from them were way too fleeting to justify the extraordinarily high fee that I paid to receive the treatments in the first place.

Parking: There is metered street parking, but a garage underneath as well. Office: Staff has always been very friendly and not only greeted me but has offered and brought me drinks. I like that there is an outside waiting room and and inside, more private, waiting room. Place feels more like a medical spa versus a doctor's office. Doctor's bedside manner: EXCELLENT! She takes the time to listen and thoroughly explains her thoughts and plans. Results: OUTSTANDING. Every minor complaint I had, has been resolved. She swore up and down that this man was a modern-day miracle worker. Don't read too much into that last line; it's me being hyperbole in describing how somebody can be so proficient and excellent at what they do. From the aches and pains in my knees to the back spasms that occurred in my lower back, to the kinks in my neck that would leave me feeling inadequate at times, I have sought out one guy! Throughout the years and the injuries, Dr. Hagopian has been there. I have three children who are all under the age of 15.
