Today was my first day back to the office since covid. During my absence I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and today going to the dentist was terrifying for me. Today I left in awe of not only their ability to do good dental work but their ability to handle someone in panic mode. Without all the details I can only say Sam and Dr. Patterson made a perfect team. They asked questions and presented options.....end result a totally successful office visit that exceeded my expectations. I actually left their office happy. The office is very clean (very important to me), the staff is very courteous, the appointments are always on time, Dr. Patterson is kind, when i procedure is required, he will tell you all the options, "if you leave untreated, this will happen... if you choose to do "X" is cheaper and it will last "X" number of years, or you can do that, is better in a long term but it's up to you" No pressure, he is ok if you decide to leave and call back later. Plus: His wife is the receptionist, the most cheerful person, she will greet you with a big smile and a nice, comforting thought specially when you are having a root canal, somehow it makes it better. She's been my regular dentist for six years as of 2014, has filled at least two cavities, & the worst pain has been minor discomfort, including the pain-killer shots. She even replaced one of her fillings that fell out, & said it was free. There are jokes about painless dentists, but she truly is a painless dentist. Her patient-side manner is the best of any medical professional I've ever had in all of my 57 years. She's very pleasant, cheery, professional & technically proficient.
