Shrimp Egg Roll and Pork Egg Roll
    Emily O.

It was a Chinese food delivery kind of night for me and I selected Nihao; however, the food left me disappointed. I ordered two egg rolls, scallion pancakes, wonton soup, General Tso's chicken and the special house lo mein. The food was mediocre. The flavors were off or just lacking. The lo mein tasted like nothing and neither did the fried rice. They were very bland, which is a no-no because carbs are usually my favorite part of any meal. The egg rolls were not good either. I will say, the General Tso's chicken had bit of spice and I did really enjoy the scallion pancakes (not so much the taste but texture). Overall, the food is just okay. Maybe I ordered the wrong things and missed out on the "stand-out" options? But in all honesty, I think there are better Chinese options at a similar price point.

Always consistent quality. One of the best Asian restaurants in town. Wide verity of menu items. Third party delivery is great.

I ended up getting a bento tray and Mongolian beef. Everything was realy good and every feeling. Great Asian cuisine for a cheat day and overall quality of the food was very good. Babies crying, people jumbled everywhere, and a buffet setup that was super packed together near everything else. The good: host sat me quickly and my server was polite and super quick. I guess they got this down to a science? The bad: everything else. How the heck are these reviews high? This place was packed but I felt like if I coughed, it would be all over my neighbor and the food. It was a cluster f. I did the buffet. While they had a lot of options, it was jam packed together. And you bumped into people trying to squeeze through some areas. The sushi was mediocre. The sweet and sour chicken was off. The fried rice wasn't warm. Even my tap water tasted funny. I couldn't finish my hot sake because it tasted off. The wasabi and ginger even looked funky (I will say the wasabi had a nice kick). Best part of my meal was leaving. The miso soup was the only decent part. I should have learned my lesson from previous Asian fusion places but I guess I trusted the reviews on this one. It's clear to me; a lot of people don't have an educated palate.

Something that vegans and non-vegans will appreciate alike. I'm also a big fan of their Pad Thai and Mapo tofu (spicy and tofu is not crispy). They also have lots of fun Indonesian appetizers which you don't see at many other restaurants. You can't go wrong with any of those. The spring rolls are also delicious. This place is not trying to be anything fancy, but it over delivers on the quality of food.

I went to sit in the car because they are take out only and I had a dog in the car. The woman at the counter is always so friendly and I adore her lilting voice. She came out to tell me my food was ready so I went into get it. The hot and sour soup had too much cornstarch in it and it was not as flavorful as I remembered. I threw it away. The Tahu Isi was tofu filled with veggies, cabbage, onion, carrots and battered and fried. It was good but a little greasy. I liked it though and would probably order it again. The oil probably wasn't hot enough. The beef rendang had a wonderful curry aroma. I put a few spoons of it over the white rice. It was spicy with a good flavor. The meat was tender but some pieces had entirely too much fat connected. One bite was all fat. I liked the spice but be forewarned- it isn't for the faint of heart. It was good but I wished they would trim the meat more but fat is flavor. I'll come back for lunch and see if the beef Mongolian is as good as I remember.
