We LOVE Nihao restaurant. We typically order delivery and I can't think of a time when we were disappointed with what we got. (Well, except for the one time I ordered the appetizer beef teriyaki sticks -- they were very dry and were more like jerky than beef.) We order entrees rather than combination platters. Our favorite dishes are Hunan beef, Hunan shrimp, beef with broccoli, pepper steak, Mongolian beef, Szechuan shrimp. I've also had the chicken lo mein and it's been very tasty, plenty of sauce/moisture. (Best eaten fresh, leftovers can become dry and sticky.) For appetizers, we've had and loved the egg rolls, dumplings (steamed or fried), fried wontons and Krab rangoon. Nihao's hot and sour soup is delicious, but my favorite is their pork wonton soup! I get a large order so I have plenty for lunch the next day! For $60, we end up with four meals -- we each get dinner the night we order and we always have enough for lunch or dinner the next day, too! It was a Chinese food delivery kind of night for me and I selected Nihao; however, the food left me disappointed. I ordered two egg rolls, scallion pancakes, wonton soup, General Tso's chicken and the special house lo mein. The food was mediocre. The flavors were off or just lacking. The lo mein tasted like nothing and neither did the fried rice. They were very bland, which is a no-no because carbs are usually my favorite part of any meal. The egg rolls were not good either. I will say, the General Tso's chicken had bit of spice and I did really enjoy the scallion pancakes (not so much the taste but texture). Overall, the food is just okay. Maybe I ordered the wrong things and missed out on the "stand-out" options? But in all honesty, I think there are better Chinese options at a similar price point. read more

Nihao is not a sit down and dine kind of restaurant, but it is consistently tasty. Whether ordering food to go or delivery, Nihao does well with their egg drop soup, crab Rangoon, fried rice, and various meat and rice combos my family craves. We order from Nihao about twice a month. To get crab rangoons, chicken fried rice, and four meat entrees (usually beef and broccoli for my husband, sweet chicken varieties for my kids, and red curry seafood or Kung Po chicken for me) it will run you about $50. There are always leftovers, which thrills my children. I am also happy to report their food is not drenched in oil or MSG. read more

No time today, so I ordered up some Chinese. The delivery was so fast. The food was pretty Typical Chinese food but mad kudos for fast delivery. All the fried food was still nice a crispy. My first time here and only because I was waiting for son to take a test at the mathnasium. So you know that Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi? That's basically what I was thinking listening to the owner taking orders over the phone while I waited for my food lol! He was sounded so mean and short with customers yet the phone kept ringing so maybe the food was worth the verbal abuse lol! Well the food was just meh but I can see the appeal, it's fast, they deliver and it's cheap so there's that. We've been getting delivery from Nihao since they first opened in Bradfordville. We do a lot of delivery, so it has been great to have a Chinese restaurant with such excellent food in our area. I have ordered the Seafood Delight, Chicken with Cashews, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan on several occasions and every time, it is delicious! Their "Small" serving size is large enough, it usually makes for two meals, so I have it warmed over the next day for lunch! Even better the second time around! Tried Nihao for the first time. Don't normally write reviews but this was horrible. I recently read from residents that it was good. I got the roast pork lomein, boneless spare ribs roast pork fried rice and egg roll. I threw out the left overs. There are SO MANY better options. I've had buffets that were better than this. Emerald Garden New Garden Dao are 100x better. Not good chinese. I should mention I grew up in NY and have many places in Long Island Queens and NYC. I know know good Chinese this was not! read more

Update: My last order went great, got food within 30 minutes and it was warm and delicious. Back on my list for sure. 12/3/2016 Have ordered delivery from them several times. The food is delicious but the delivery time is always over a hour. Tonight I ordered at 7:21 and received my food at 9:00 which is just too long! Came here for lunch, had a craving for Chinese food. I ordered the Mongolian chicken it was supposed to be a lunch special I wanted it spicy, but got sweet. I don't know if I will come again they were not that friendly and the the special was really no special. $7.25 you got just the entree and you choose an egg roll or soup. This was the worst food we've ever had from a Chinese restaurant. We've frequented this place because service is quick but it just seems to be getting worse. The chicken fried rice was bland, the noodles ordered were undercooked, sweet and sour chicken was soggy and the egg rolls were the smallest we've ever seen. Really disappointing experience. I ordered a large carry out order including vegetable fried rice with no egg and no mushrooms. I got extra mushrooms and eggs which I discovered when I got home with the food. When I called to get the order corrected, the manager made it very difficult for me and began yelling at her employee. She all but refused to correct the order. I decided it wasn't worth it. My family, who lives in town, used to frequent this place but will no longer go there. Our experience was totally different than the first reviewer's. We were looking to try a different Chinese delivery so, despite the bad review, decided to give Nihao a chance. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delivered warm, crispy as is should be, and very tasty. We ordered 4 different dinner plates and enjoyed each one. The food was typical chinese take-out/delivery without much pizazz but, then again, we weren't expecting that either. We would definitely order from here again. read more

Worst food ever. Tired and hungry I decided to order food to go. I approached the entrance to witness the owner or employees child barefoot and banging on the front glass door, pitching a fit and being jerked by the arm and made to sit on a cot in the corner of the ordering area. Screaming at the crying child continued and i should have left then. I ordered and left, arriving home to eat. The first bite of food tasted as if bleach or cleaning solution had spilled into the food. It was not edible. It was the first and last time I will go to this restaurant. Ordered a few times from them with no issue. Fried Rice is a bit lacking in flavor but always tastes fresh, other than that any food I have gotten has been very good and fresh and hot. My family and I eat here on several occasions and tonight was the worst Chinese food we've ever ate. We always order the same thing and its always good but tonight when we ordered, it was discolored and it tasted spoiled. We drove back up there to show the staff the food in hopes of them fixing the problem but they cursed at us and told us that couldn't give us a new one or our money back. They were rude and disrespectful. There are plenty of other places that will give us great service. We will never eat their again or recommend this place that calls its self a restaurant to any one. Place is close to home and delivers so decided to give it a try. You can place order online which is a plus as well.... Ordered food on a Saturday at 5:30 food arrived at 7. They said they were busy, I can see that so wasn't too upset. Ordered Kung Pao chicken, beef with oyster sauce, chicken lo mein, beef fried rice and egg drop & sweet sour soups + egg rolls. Kung Pao chicken was awful, was just small pieces of thigh meat in a premade sauce with undercooked mirepoix (carrot were raw)... Beef fried rice was flavorless. The beef in the oyster sauce tasted like they boiled it. Lo Mein was ok (2 out of 5)... Egg rolls were typical for a takeout place. Soups were cold and disgusting. I love this Chinese Restaurant. We order from here several times a month and we are never disappointed.

They have horrible service and they are expensive. We've given them many chances because we live near there. Make sure you add up your total because they will charge you extra when they can. We also got sick from eating there. One of my friends got sick for a week and she didn't even eat with us! That was the last time we stepped foot in Ni Hao. If you want to find a restaurant where they care about their customers, try Miyako Japanese Restaurant right in the same plaza. I always have a good experience there. read more
