My 2.5 year old goes to Nihao and has been since she turned 2. In the 5 months she's been there, she's learned so much! She's more confident in expressing herself now and more social. The teachers, ChiChi laoshi and ms.Delsy and Jenny laoshi are so nurturing and patient. Classes are small so it's 2 teachers to 5-6 kids per class so each kid gets a lot of attention. They do 80% in mandarin and 20% English so my little one is immersed in language learning at school and at home. They are also very communicative and sends us messages and pictures throughout the day through their app. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for high quality child care at a very reasonable price.

We couldn't be happier with Nihao! I am so glad to found this as a first school for my daughter because of the thoughtful programs they offer here. The teachers are so caring, patient, and creative -- they truly make learning fun. Our child has grown so much in confidence and curiosity since joining. The environment feels safe, nurturing, and full of joy. I especially love the updates and photos the teachers send throughout the day. We're so grateful to be part of this wonderful community!

Highly recommend Nihao to the families looking for multilingual immerse (they do Mandarin Chinese with English and Spanish classes), fun, love, and safe preschool that doesn't break the bank. The teachers are very caring and communicative. They talks to parents in person and through app. Post at least 5 activity photos daily and sometimes videos too, which helps us chat about school activities with our son in the evening. The teachers also put a lot of efforts to celebrate and decorate holidays with the kids. We also love the parents here, everyone is super friendly and engaged. Kids get special treats all the time. Sometimes we even have special class sessions designed and leaded by the parents. The class is designed with different theme monthly with different focus subject weekly. My son has attended Nihao for 3 months now and we saw his growth tremendously. He loves the school so much that he doesn't want to leave and continue talking about his friends and teachers on the way home.

I looked into Language Door and found our forever home. First, the owner Natascha is fantastic. She's multi lingual and very hands on. She loves what she does and it shows with all the students. She knows what teachers would be best for certain students. Second, I love love love Susan and Lupe who work as administrators. Susan is Hungarian and speaks so many languages, I can't keep track. She's kind, a world of knowledge and gives the best hugs. Lupe is smart, multi lingual and wonderful! Every student who walks in is greeted in the language they're learning. There are adults and kids learning Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, etc. The teachers are worldly, my kids love their classes and can't wait to go to school even on Saturday's. While I'm waiting for my kids I get to speak with all the parents who are lovely. Walking in I feel transported to an international setting where people are open minded, multi cultural and inclusive. I wouldn't hesitate making the call! Thanks Language Door for embracing the love of language!

What really makes this place stand out (and believe me I did my research) is that if you want to take a foreign language class with them you can sit in on a few classes before you decide to sign up for the new start date. The owner, Natascha is also extremely attentive and you can tell she loves what she does and goes the extra mile for her students and teachers. I am quite impressed with the level of service provided and it was more than worth it for the price! I plan to sign up for German & Arabic courses shortly after my Advanced Spanish course commences.

5-stars for Atsuko sensei and The Language Experts!…read more I tried, like many, to learn the Japanese language on my own. I ordered the Genki I textbook and started out strong. It didn't take very long for me to run into questions that I scrambled to try and answer through Google. I skipped a lot of the lessons that required a partner or a CD player. I ended up getting stuck and gave up. I decided I wanted to give the language another chance but this time I'd try taking lessons. I found The Language Experts through Yelp. I called and e-mailed and received responses very quickly and it gave me a good introduction and some expectations before signing up for the classes. I was a little reluctant to join a class with other students. It's part of the reason why I avoided taking a class at a nearby college. The prices are great for both private and group lessons and there's lots of different options to make payments as well. Despite the great prices of private lessons I gave the group lessons a try. I'm so very glad I decided to take the group lessons. Atsuko sensei will put you in a group that has a similar level whether you're completely new, or you've stopped and are starting again, or you have some sort of experience, she'll know which level and class to fit you in. My group is awesome and supportive and really fun! It's been less than a year but I've already learned a lot of the language and the culture that I would never have been able to do on my own and at a level I didn't think I'd ever get to. I'm really pleased and happy to be learning Japanese at The Language Experts. I hope to continue as long as possible!

I asked every question I could think of, from how they handle sickness to how teachers are supported, and I observed everything from class ratios to daily routines. We visited several schools, but ultimately chose Frontiers, and I'm so glad we did. The difference was clear: attrition among instructors was low, and my son's teacher had been there for many years. To me, happy teachers = happy kids. From the start, the staff were warm, communicative, and professional. I've been consistently impressed by their attention to detail, safety standards, and how thoughtfully they care for each child. Beyond the nurturing environment, the academics are truly top-notch. It's a trilingual school so teaches in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. The curriculum is rigorous; I love that my son is being challenged intellectually while also building confidence, creativity, and curiosity. What gave me peace of mind is knowing my child is not only in a stable environment but also one where learning is engaging, meaningful, and sets a high bar. Communication has been excellent--I always feel in the loop. I've seen firsthand that the children are thriving, not only in Spanish or Mandarin but in all aspects of their development. If you're a parent who values stability, honesty, safety, and outstanding academics in a school culture where teachers are genuinely happy--Frontiers stands out. It checked every box on my list.

This was so bittersweet, as we all wished that she could stay longer (as long as possible) in Marco Polo! We didn't want to leave! We were a part of such a tight-knit, warm, supportive, and welcoming community - the teachers, fellow parents, all the students - that I truly believe that the bond forged and positive effects gleaned (both academic and non-academic) will last well into the future. We felt that the Reggio Emilia approach worked so well in helping kids of different character traits and temperaments grow according to their own pace and strengths. We loved all the teachers that have taught our daughter, as well as others we saw every single day in their various supporting roles (admin, front desk, meal times, science, subs, etc). It took a village, and boy was that village awesome. We could feel that the teachers (and everyone else) working there truly were there because they loved kids, and they loved helping kids thrive. The Preschool and Pre-K programs were particularly notable and instrumental in their roles in helping our daughter get more than ready for her kindergarten year (and beyond). Under the relatively new leadership of Ms. Kimberly, I saw notable improvements in terms of the variety of interesting new subjects, activities, and a stronger sense of direction, leadership, and community. We can't possibly thank Marco Polo enough for helping shape our daughter, for encouraging and loving her, and for supporting us throughout. Ms Amy, Ms Venus, Mr Erick, Ms Paris, Ms Fatemeh, Ms Destinee, Ms Kimberly, Ms Jing, Ms Caitlin, Mr Ruben, Ms Lisa, Ms Janet, and everyone else - you truly made Marco Polo such a wonderful journey for us. After studying with Jacqueline for 4 months, I was able to travel to France, speak French and be understood! Learning a new language is not always easy and it does take time. I study the grammar during the week, and then my lesson is used for conversation, questions and lots of practice. This process works well for me as I often have trouble getting my tongue around some of the tricky French pronunciation and also conjugating verbs mid-conversation. Jacqueline is very supportive during this process. I know Jacqueline to be exceptionally invested in her student´s success, and supportive of students of all levels. I highly recommend that anyone wishing to learn French contact Jacqueline Hahn for lessons.
