My mom's 60th birthday party was planned to start at 6pm & I was told by Jude that we are able to come 2 hours earlier to start setting up and that he would help. We arrived at 4 pm & found previous party guest still in the venue and staff not even attempting to clear the room. I was met with a woman who rudely told me that there are still guests in the room and that we have to wait until they are done cleaning. (Our party started in an hour at that point, it was a half assed cleaning job) Jude had arrived half an hour later. I called the venue 14 times to try and clear things up and no one answered. Prior to the party, I was trying to explain that we need more time than just 2 hours to set up and I was dismissed with condescending remarks as if we were just throwing some pictures on the wall and a few balloons here and there. They should've had the previous party end and cleared out hours before. There was no water, soda or bread set on the tables for our guests when they came in. When my aunt asked of the ladies working for some soda, she was apparently very rude. Our event was from 6 pm - 10 pm. I understand that the lights will be turned on when the party is over but there was no courtesy warning a few minutes before. This is a message to the new management - take it from someone who has been in the restaurant industry for 12+ years, you lack hospitality and your greediness for money shows in the way you interact with your clients. Needless to say, they will be losing us as clients and to anyone reading this review, just know we aren't the type of people to complain about ANYTHING. Don't waste your money here.

Since they are only a few blocks from where I live decided to give them a try. So let's get started. CONS --- Entryway Front Step Very High with NO Railings. I'm over 70 and use a cane, so it was difficult for me to manage that step, but I did. Other than that No other cons. PROS --- Overall the place has a comfy atmosphere. There's an area for those patrons who prefer to dine in. Their menus are clearly posted w/pricing. They have a deli case with various salads Macaroni, Potato, Coleslaw, Pasta, Tuna, etc. which you can peruse while waiting in line. The place is Clean, the employees very Hospitable, and the food is Fantastic!! They DO NOT SKIMP when preparing your sandwich, salad or entree. Pricing is Extraordinary. If this had been any other Deli, I'd have paid at least $10-$15 dollars more. Since my original visit I've been back 2 times. I plan to try a different sandwich on each future visit I can safely say It will be a Long Long time if ever, before I go to a "Jersey Mikes", or "Blimpies," again. I've NEVER eaten at Subway, & Never Will! There are 2 or three other Deli's/Sub Shops that I like and will continue to patronize along with Vilardo's.

I do not often review a place twice, but Appetizzio's is an exceptional take-out business…read more Everything you get is fresh, generously portioned, and a good value. This is another business I have spent some time ordering from during the shelter-in-place. They have adapted and worked as hard as possible to keep business-as-usually, even with some of the food shortages that are hitting the nation. One big bonus to me is how accommodating and friendly the staff is. They are always happy to see me (first name basis for all of us). They will make any order the way you want it if they have the provisions (and generally they do). They also crank the orders out pretty quickly considering items have to be prepared to order (no pre-sliced cold cuts, etc). Their provisions are exceptional (get some Fresh Mozzerella). If you have an issue with parking, you can get curbside pick-up. I generally like to park (even if I'm a block or two away) so that I can browse their market goods.
