I discovered Night and Day dentistry about 9 months ago and it was great experience. The staff always helpful and supportive of my needs. Jennifer, and Cordell, and Dr Chen restored my trust in going to the Dentist. The dental work was painless, Dr.Chen was great and provided me with integrity, professional, consultation through every step of the procedures. The front desk staff were abrupt and appeared to have no customer appreciation. This was my first visit here for a regular check up and clean. After 20 minutes I was seated in the dental chair waiting for attention. No one came to check in or tell me the appointment I hoped for would not be possible. After a 50 minute wait I was told the Dental Hygienist was not in that day and I'd have to re-schedule. Some serious customer training is desperately needed here. read more

I am so disappointed. My company changed my insurance so had to try a new place. Was scheduled at 4pm as new patient and was seated in a room shortly after. Was told needed to do X-rays and gentleman was going to be right back. 30 min later finally did about 15 X-rays. Then said doctor will be right there. She was next chair with a man that has been yelling at everyone because of insurance and then denture didn't feel right... etc. After a total of 2 hours and 15 min, Yes! 2 hours in that chair, dentist finally came in and look at X-rays and teeth and sent me out to plan for treatments at front desk. I don't know why I waited that long before leaving but I will not come back! Tried to cancel the appointment they gave me for 2 days and no one answers the phone or return my messages....Not impressed at all! read more

Had an appointment on the 12/23 for emergency attraction. Recivied a call to reschedule to 12/27. Get there wait 45 mins to be called back. Get back all to find out whoever rescheduled put in for routine check up. So the lady said she will put it in for today. 2hours later see Dr. the young lady come back asking for Dr. No and I told her I had it. Leaves till the doctor come back. And tell me when done the day they have the doctor note to be off the medication which I was already off. to reschedule this could've been told to me after the first 45 minutes when there was a rescheduling mixed up read more

Absolutely terrible!! The new staff of this office has brought my five star rating down to zero stars. After the staff member that I spoke to complained profusely to me about how long she would have to be on hold with my insurance to make sure that it was covered (even if that is a frustrating process, is that not their job? Complaining about it to me was unnecessary) I asked about how long It would be before I should expect a call back from her with an update. She informed me, with quite an attitude, that she would get back to me by the next day at the latest. That was over two weeks ago. This office is over 30 minutes away from my home, but use to be worth the drive to be treated with such genuine care by the staff. That is no longer the case. My daughter went to the Cornelius location to get a second opinion on a tooth. They never addressed the tooth that she was to be seen for. They did X-rays on all of her teeth and proceeded to tell her that she needed several crowns, root canals, and an implant totaling $15,000 worth of unnecessary work. She has a primary Dentist who is amazing and had seen her 1 month prior for a checkup. She was also told by the Dental hygienist that she had gingivitis while just looking in her mouth. Stay away from this office. Waste of time and very shady. read more

The dental work was good, but I have been dealing with them on billing for over a year now. I will call and it turns they charged my old insurance, they apologize and then say they will charge it to my new insurance, then a week later get a threat about sending me to bill collectors. The amount I owe has changed 4 different times and it still isn't resolved. I am still dealing with this and it's getting very very old. TLDR: Don't go here, find somewhere else. so I'm here to touch base and update on my last review my last review I described my terrible experience at Night & Day Dental as far as the staff there. The office manager had very little knowledge, the dentist was very rude and abrasive. They're logic basically because they couldn't do it. They had no recommendations for me basically. although I had describe to them the health issue I have as far as you know, the health issues with my blood pressure sometimes and I have epilepsy. so after my appointment on June 19 when I did it get the extraction done I waited maybe a week or so later for the refund. The refund was supposed to amount to $347 because that's how much the extraction cost for the two. I DIDNT RECIEVE THE FULL REFUND. We had only received a refund of $146 . When I asked for an itemized receipt, so I could see all the transaction, history and the office manager Jennifer agreed that the math on the receipt didn't make sense, because as I was asking her questions, I couldn't understand by the credit for wasn't on there? The only other procedure I had done at this office was when they took my wisdom teeth out and that is a significant price difference difference !!! Then I was told by the office manager that it could've possibly been put towards other services but once again, the only other services I had done was the wisdom teeth that were taken out. That was a whole year prior to this incident. My mother and other people that I know that work dentist office told me that the only time that happens is when the person has insurance . When they're requesting a refund and they're waiting to see if the insurance has actually fully paid for everything so they're not giving people little money or money that is too much. With that being said, I didn't have any dental insurance hence why I had got the membership planned throughout the office, so they weren't waiting for a payment to be received because the service was already fully paid for. I had verified this when I had made the appointment on June 5 to get the tooth taken out and again on June 17 when I had paid for the membership again to ensure that the appointment would be valid. when I had asked for corporate email, or at least the regional Director email, she said she could not give it to me because at this point I wanted to talk to someone else, someone who would be better fit to help me. I had also asked for the refund for the membership plan, because I refuse to return, because no services were provided and the customer service was horrible. I wanted to ensure that I would get the refund back for the membership and she assured me that that would happen because no services were actually provided or she didn't see a reason why the refund wouldn't go through. I had contacted the billing department on July 8 to see why the refund was denied. They said that the office manager had told them that I had had two x-rays done into cleanings done at the office and so the services for the membership plan were used and that's why I couldn't receive my refund. Of course when I called the office on July 8 to speak to somebody, she told me that she never had assured me that I would receive the refund. as I stated before the only reason why I had renewed my membership plan so that I could use the credit that was already on there for a service that was paid for a year ago to get the two teeth in the front taken out . once again, the only time I had had two cleanings and two x-rays done was when I had first bought the plan and that's when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and I spoke to the previous dentist who said that the two teeth in the front need to be taken out ( two DIFFERENT procedures and DIFFERENT times ) . So with that being said, I would not recommend this office, because the service is terrible, the dentist is rude for as much as they cost, also, they were not willing to help me in anyway shape or form..... it was a terrible experience for someone who has anxiety when it comes to the dentist. This just truly makes me hate going to the dentist even more. read more

My husband called 6 weeks ago to make an appointment. Spoke with Ebony. She confirmed our insurance was covered. She also said they would do a cleaning even though they have no hygenist on staff. My husband shows up for his appointment today and after waiting in the parking lot for a long time they tell him that our insurance is not covered and they will not even do a cleaning for him if he pays out of pocket. I went to the location in Charlotte on Independence Blvd to have a broken tooth repaired. I called on a Monday and they told me to come in 2 days later on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. They took my insurance info over the phone when I made the appointment so they could verify coverage ahead of time, but when I got there and checked in, my insurance had not been verified and they made me sit and wait until they could verify coverage. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes I went up to the reception desk and asked them how much longer the wait would be. The receptionist replied there were 2 other patients ahead of me and they only had 2 dentists in that office. The waiting room was FULL of people and when I asked when I would be seen, she replied it would be at least another hour wait. WTF? If I make an appointment at 11:00 a.m. and have to wait 2 plus hours to be seen, what is the point of making an appointment? She asked if I wanted to reschedule to which I replied, only if I am not going to have to sit here for 2+ hours to be seen and she said they can't make any guarantees of how long the wait would be. VERY unorganized, slow and obviously make a practice of overbooking/overlapping patient appointments. Bad experience and a waste of my time. read more

I love this office! From Annette at the front, who is always so pleasant and helpful. To Jennifer who was there for me when I was having stress with what I had to get done, she is such a sweetheart!! Jana is the woman who cleaned my teeth and she was very pleasant as well.. the most gentle teeth cleaning I've ever had. Dr.Phillips was the one who did my fillings and I DID NOT FEEL A THING! It was the first time in my whole life my I didn't feel the drilling in my teeth and it was a painless experience. Everyone that works there are lovely and cheerful people! I am also really glad they had an option for me because I do not have dental insurance so for $300 I got a consultation, cleaning, and full x-rays. Plus 20% off all year for things I need done like fillings. Highly recommend this office. read more
