I always found my instructor to be friendly, chatty, but helpful and understanding. In the past I had had lessons with another well known driving school and had a very bad experience but this instructor really changed my mind about driving and took my nerves into account. Although it did take me several attempts to pass, that was my own fault, not the driving schools! The instructor always turned up on time and taught in an accessible style - even teaching me things like how to pull into a garage and fill up with petrol!

Deciding to have one last bash at it with Udrive was definitely the right choice. Sandra is patient, relaxed and confident - which in turn makes you relaxed and confident. She took the time to talk to me about my anxieties with driving, and where I struggled and how I wanted to do things and then let me set my own pace. Everything was explained in ways that stuck, and I know this sounds weird but she makes you enjoy parallel parking. She's very organised with booking in lessons, but can be flexible when needed, and is a consummate professional even when she's making you laugh. I decided to take a few refresher lessons after not having driven since I passed my test. Instead, the instructor managed to convince me I'd make a decent driver and he was friendly with a sense of humour. Lessons can be booked by phone or you can call into the office where you will find a helpful receptionist. There is also a car simulator and a drinks machine. The customer service there is also helpful. But beware, sometimes one of the driving tutors insists on more hours required (sometimes could be right, other times could be wrong).
