Would rate it lower if possible…read more A man called Mark at Pass N Go Newcastle sold me a 20 hour intensive course with a test for £682 on Friday 13 December 2024. The following Monday, I've now been told that I have to pay an extra £200 to have the course (despite online and over the phone it was clearly £682). I know that PNG record all phone calls so they'll have record of the product being sold at that price. Citizen's Advice on mis sold products is 'If the shop sold you an item at a lower cost than they meant to, you don't have to give it back - they're only legally entitled to ask you for more money if you'd talked about the price (eg £100) and they ended up charging you much less instead (eg £10).' They didn't. They said £682 and I paid £682. 'the company can't usually cancel your order, even if they realise they've sold you something at the wrong price.' PassNGo will not honour this. The extra £200 makes it not cost worthy, so I've requested a refund. I've been given no indication of how long this refund takes. I've spoken to another member of staff at PNG, Luke, and despite him being sat next to the refunds team, told me it would be 5-7 days for the refunds team to contact me with info. 5-7 days purely for info, not for any actual money refunded. To be heading into Christmas £682 down, with no product, no refund information and an apparent lack of protocol in comparison to Citizen's Advice is far from ideal!

Not recommended. If you get assigned Simon as your instructor go somewhere else, my daughter hated…read moreher experience with him. Late, dismissive of her fears, sharp, bad attitude, had her feeling 'on edge', not a very good teacher and used his phone during the lessons. He had the charm of a fart in a spacesuit. The lesson package we paid for was not cheap and I wish we had gone to a company who employs professional well mannered drivers.

On the day of my test Vesaal's car in the words of the examiner "was too dangerous to be taken…read moreout". My test subsequently got cancelled. Vesaal had known about the fault on the car ever since I started driving with him. He said that I should rebook it and he would reimburse me and give me some free tuition till my next test. I was lucky enough to get another test the following Monday. The "free tuition" he provided was an hour before my test and the test itself. Seeing as I had already paid for 2hrs tuition in which I hadn't driven the car, the free tuition wasn't so free. As far as the reimbursement for booking another test was concerned, as soon as I mentioned it to Vesaal; he got quite nasty about it as claimed he owed me nothing. Ever since this phone call I have called multiple times and text him requesting his driving instructor details. There has been no response. I would not recommend this instructor as I have several other complaints regarding his actual instructing.
