We made arrangements for my father's funeral well ahead of his passing in an effort to minimize having to plan anything after his death. Our initial visit to set up everything went well. But upon his passing, things went downhill. The representative who came to retrieve his body from our home was unprofessional and wanted to recap all of our plans in front of his still warm body. She was very tone deaf and didn't understand that we were deep in grief and didn't want to talk logistics while they zipped my father up in a bag. It was highly inappropriate. Then we came in to sign the contract and found out there would be extra fees to be present when his cremated remains were to be put into the mausoleum. The final straw came when phone calls starting coming in from friends and family that Kayser's would not accept flowers for his service. What funeral home doesn't accept flowers for a funeral? We chose them because they were "the best" but are experience was mediocre at best.

You feel that you are their top priority. You truly believe that with all your heart. Their services extend far beyond what is required to "get the job done". Each one of them was called to this mission of ministry. We, the Family of Glen Hagstrom, will be eternally grateful for their compassion and guidance. They were borderline hostile when we were there planning the service, argued with us about what day to have the service, misquoted prices, spelled my dad's name wrong on their website and got the year of his birth incorrect. (they had him born 1999 not 1950). They were rude on the phone and called my mother by the wrong name TWICE when she took the burial clothes to the funeral home (and this was after I had called to make an appointment for her - so they knew she was coming). Now if this weren't enough they arrived LATE WITH MY FATHER to the funeral. Yes LATE! I wouldn't recommend this funeral home to anyone.
