I saw the discrepancy (being charged twice for one pair of shoes) on my credit card statement, and called the store. I spoke with the store manager that researched this transaction electronic and with video tapes. What he found verified my recollection and the second charge was reversed. They also offered a store credit for my grandsons. I was glad they took the time to look into this and do the right thing. People can make mistakes. At the same time, purchasers are wise to check over their receipts and credit card statements.

I came back today to express my disappointment in the service and an employee at the register named Karen informed me that she couldn't assist me as the alteration company in the back of store was a different company and she could not return my funds for the mishap. The employee was very dismissive and unhelpful. Safe to say that I will not be returning as it seems they couldn't care less about the needs of the their customers and their satisfaction with the product. Step it up! If the hours had been posted correctly on the Journeys website As it says 10:00 PM i would have made it an effort to go earlier if I had known it was 9:00 PM. Regardless, i had one pair of shoes to return and would have been out of there prior to 9:00. It is bad business to close your doors prior to your closing time. I do not do a lot of reviews however upper management should have a strict policy on when they close their doors.
