Here's why: in June I started having issues with one of my molars. The office was able to get me in the day after I called. I told her what was going on and she said I likely needed a molar root canal and if so then it would be followed with a crown. I saw an Endodontist and yes I need that root canal. I went to get my crown made and told her I was concerned about my retainers fitting since I had just had new ones made this past April. She tried her hardest to get the retainer to fit, she even scanned my tooth, but the crown manufacturer didn't get it to fit my retainer, which we were afraid of. Long story short at the end of my visit I still owed like $75, she told me to not worry about my balance since she knew a new retainer was going to run me about $125+ dollar. I saw my ortho, he didn't charge me either so I called Dr. Park's office told them I wasn't charged for my retainer and was happy to pay my balance. They told me not to worry about it, that it was already taken care of! 1000% recommend Dr. Park!

I've never sat in the waiting room for longer than 5 minutes from my scheduled appointment time. The massage chairs are a very nice touch and you can watch anything on tv you want while your teeth get cleaned. Most of the staff have been there the whole time I've been coming which is an amazing sign a good practice. Dr Patel has done a few some great work on my teeth over the years and helped get them in the best shape they've been ever. When I first started going my teeth were in rough shape. I had been out of a dentist for some time. He initially worked out a very detailed treatment plan including 4 fillings and a much needed deep cleaning. My first year was rough but he was very flexible with payment and did a great job of laying out the plan ahead of time and working through it. Aside from basic cleaning and another filling or two over the years my teeth have really turned around. I never have to dread going to the dentist ever again.

Over the next week I received two additional calls from New Tampa family dental asking for my insurance information because they kept failing to enter it into the computer correctly. Then a few days before my appointment I received a health questionnaire that I had to complete through my cell phone. At first this seemed like a typical dental questionnaire about allergies and previous surgeries. However, I was required to enter my insurance information a fourth time, upload pictures of my driver's license, and answer roughly 50 to 100 questions about my health history. On the day of the appointment I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early since I was a new patient. I was informed after arriving that showing up 15 minutes early was not necessary since I had already completed the excessively long health questionnaire. I then proceeded to wait in the waiting room for 20 minutes before being called back. Once the cleaning began I was informed that I would need to complete mandatory extra services that were not covered by insurance. When I questioned why these extra services were mandatory I was never provided with an adequate explanation. I have never had a cavity and dental cleanings have always been run-of-the-mill for me. When I refused to accept the extra services New Tampa family dental refused to treat me. I ended up walking out of my appointment without completing my routine cleaning. A few weeks later I went to a different dentist in Wesley Chapel and was faced with none of these mandatory extra services and received compliments on my oral hygiene. New Tampa family dental was an outlier in every interaction I had with them, and they were not an outlier in a positive direction.

The dental office is clean, organized, and even has water, tea, and coffee in the waiting area. Front desk was very warm. The dental hygienist was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She offered great advice and was great with my daughter. My daughter was fortunately very well behaved and excited for her appointment, but the way the hygienist helped her feel comfortable with process was great. She allowed my daughter to touch certain devices so she'd feel comfortable. The dentist was kind and also made my daughter feel very comfortable. My daughter received a full cleaning, flossing, and I think varnish. After the visit she was given a balloon and some goodies (toys, toothbrush, toothpaste). 1000000000/10 recommend!

My fault but went today to get my crown that was ordered last year. Appointment was scheduled for…read more19 June and for some reason I tho0ught it was today. Us Veterans tend to get appointment dates confused. Happen all the time. I also took the day off to get the crown done. Your office had been calling me to get the root canal done which I had delayed because I had an issue last Sept when I was going the root canal. I did get the root canal as you asked. The young front desk lady said there was nothing she can do when I asked if they could squeeze me in to get the crown done. I asked if I can speak to the office manager and she said there was non-available. I then asked when will an office manager be back and she said no office manager would be back until Tuesday. There was no attempt to call anyone to try and help. I asked the young front desk lady to cancel the 19 June appointment as I would be out of town. I really believe that there were other options to offer instead of turning me down as I was already there, and the crown did would not take much to install.

Turns out, they were only temporary--and I didn't find out until they broke in August 2025. By then, I had already moved from Florida to Atlanta and spent a significant amount of money on what I thought was lasting dental work. I reached out to their office to discuss compensation but never heard back. The bridges were beyond repair, and I had to pay over $10,000 to have them replaced by Dr. Langston here in Georgia. Thankfully, he did an incredible job and gave me a smile that looks better than ever. If you're considering Advanced Dental Arts, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Dr. Langston truly delivers the quality and care every patient deserves.
