It's been six months since I started working out with Nicole and what a difference, particularly for my back. Before starting, I was cautious, careful, and diligent to avoid making certain movements that would put my back at risk. Since working out with Nicole, my daily confidence in movement and activities has been so much higher, and I rarely give my back a second thought. I travel a lot, and airplane seats, carry-on luggage, and hotel beds no longer bother me. Nicole's approach is unique to each client and we continue to do new exercises (which I love). Highly recommend working with Nicole! read more

I can't recommend Nicole highly enough. We were introduced at an event when I mentioned my ongoing rotator cuff pain and how frustrated I was with the traditional treatments I had tried; nothing seemed to be working. Nicole offered to help, and I'm so glad I took her up on it. Through targeted manual muscle and joint work combined with mobility exercises, she addressed my shoulder pain in a way no one else had. After just one session, I noticed a difference, not just in my shoulder, but in my overall posture and alignment. After three sessions, my shoulder was completely pain-free, and I was back in the gym lifting again. What really sets Nicole apart is her ability to create a truly customized treatment plan. She provided me with specific corrective exercises with video references so I can maintain my progress on my own. Now I know exactly how to keep my shoulders open and prevent future issues. She was clear about her approach from the start and focused entirely on getting me results rather than selling packages. Nicole's incredibly diverse background--ranging from her rigorous training as a Physical Therapist in Germany to her expertise in Sports Performance, Kinesiology, and Reiki, informs everything she does. Her work goes way beyond standard protocols. She's professional, genuinely cares about her clients, and gets results fast. If you're dealing with pain or limitations that others haven't been able to solve, Nicole is your answer. Ray read more

I started with Nicole as a personal trainer. She was really helpful in getting me to feel good about working with weights and understanding the muscle groups I needed to work with to really get an overall beneficial workout. She always introduced new exercises and new equipment such as bands, a bosu ball and weights. Then I broke my wrist playing pickleball and Nicole was so much better than my physical therapist in enabling me to keep stretching and exercising to gain the full use of my arm and hand. Nicole had some PT techniques that were crucial in me getting my range of motion back and allowing me to return to normal again. Nicole really understands the muscle groups in the body and how to gain strength through exercise. I have never met anyone with more understanding and ability to encourage me in the achievement of goals. read more

Shoutout to Nicole, the BEST personal trainer and coach! Nicole is the most incredible personal trainer and inspirational coach I've ever worked with! Her advice is achievable and sustainable--success is all about implementation. Thanks to her guidance, I'm now at my ideal weight after losing 10 lbs, with 7.3 of it being pure fat! And the journey doesn't stop there--I continue to grow stronger and build muscle daily. If I could give you one piece of advice, it's this: Take her recommendations seriously and implement them! I would have reached my goals sooner if I had done so a couple of years ago. Nicole, thank you for helping me achieve what once felt impossible! Jayne from Encinitas read more

I am in awe of how effective your expertise has been in my life. Because you helped me see what I couldn't, stood by me, and taught me how to heal, I am now having breakthroughs in all aspects of my life. For the first time, I'm not avoiding my pain. Instead of binge eating, I'm breathing through the discomfort and letting my body process the feelings. As a result of this new approach, I've already lost 8 pounds! My latest breakthrough since our session was finally taking the next step in my career. Before, it felt like a painful, physical block, but now I understand it was the negative perception of discomfort that was truly holding me back. I am so grateful to you. Nicole was referred to me by another trainer who highly recommended her to work with me in addressing my knee pain. After having a knee injury and also being out of shape, I wanted specific exercises to strengthen my mobility and increase flexibility and balance. Nicole provided expert guidance which did not require special equipment and that can be done anywhere. She also noticed my stance and how that contributed to my knee issues. After doing the exercises to strengthen my quads, core, hips and ankles, my mobility has definitely improved and I can walk more confidently with much less pain. Nicole also addressed nutrition and becoming aware of my eating habits to help me start my weight loss journey. Nicole was a great investment in my long term health! Thank you! read more

Nicole has been a tremendous help to every member of my family. She resolved several sports injuries (field hockey, lacrosse, surfing) through very wise and intuitive physical therapy. She greatly aided my niece's recovery after a damaging car accident. Recently she addressed a pinched nerve affecting my entire right side with great results. Throughout it all she is teaching and demonstrating exercises and techniques to strengthen and avoid re-injury, nutrition tips, and life management. Nicole has been an amazing inspiration during these Covid times! I found myself in a workout slump when everything shut down, and after my sister suggested we try semi-private pilates sessions with Nicole, we both feel 1000% better! Her extensive knowledge and training have made our workouts not only very effective, but challenging and fun at the same time. She has also been very helpful working through my occasional shoulder pain (from years of tennis & golf), not only relieving the pain but actually identifying the cause and working on core strengthening to eliminate the issue altogether. She is an exceptional trainer, & we are very lucky to have her here in our neighborhood! read more

I have been working with Nicole Hansult for about 3 months now. She is not just a fitness coach but a lifestyle coach as well. She helps with analyzing your diet by virtue of a 4-day diet experiment that exams protein, carbs, fats, etc then coordinates that with your energy levels. That has helped me change my diet to combat the mid-afternoon slump from having too much sugar at lunch. Then there is her personal training coaching role. We have been getting together once/wk in her outfitted garage. The important areas that I wanted to work on were my overall balance and strengthening my core muscles. She has a way of coaching that is personable and upbeat. You don't really realize how hard of a workout you're getting until the end of the hour and find out you've worked up a good sweat. She also develops a daily workout routine with you to do at home that does not require you to buy expensive equipment (a workout mat, exercise ball and a couple of 5 or 10 lb weights). My overall balance has greatly improved and my core strength is getting better (thought it's going to take long to get my core in shape since I'd been pretty lazy). All-in-all, it's been a great experience and I would highly recommend Nicole Hansult Coaching. read more

I am so grateful to have Nicole as my coach. Nicole's knowledge and expertise in nutrition and fitness is attainable and inspiring. I have never worked with someone who was this comprehensive, positive, supportive, and encouraging. I came to Nicole as I wasn't successful losing weight after multiple exercise and diet programs. I would reduce my calories so much at times trying to move the scale, that I became depleted in energy and nutrition without success. With her guidance and careful look at my nutrition and exercise, I was able to drop significant weight and feel amazing both physically and mentally. Nicole has extensive training in physical therapy/injury prevention and recovery, Pilates, various fitness programming philosophies, and nutrition. I learned so much about the connection between my mind and body, including an analysis of my past to understand why I wasn't successful before, and how to make impactful changes. She teaches bite sized pieces of information over time, so changes are easy to implement and more achievable. What I have learned from Nicole has completely changed my life for the long haul, as it's not just a short-term diet plan, but wholistic life changes. I'm so grateful for her continued commitment to me and sincere desire to help me achieve my goals. Thank you, Nicole! read more

I have been training with Nicole for several months now and I am so thankful I have chosen her to be my trainer. Not only is she someone who shows you the exercises, she perfects form while doing so. Every workout varies as well and not once have I felt like I have done the same workout. I have done Kettle Bell workouts, TRX, medicine balls, and so much more. There have been times I have had some back or hip pain and she works through the pain with me on a foam roller and shows me how to work through any pain on my own. During my workouts, she gives me tips on food, other activities, and has workout videos that can be used on those days you are not training with her. I have gain confidence, strength, and a want to improve. On those days I may not feel up for working out, once I am done with my session, I am so glad I made the commitment because I always feel better and more energized. I have been fortunate to have met Nicole and been getting treated by her for over a year now. Nicole is a truly gifted therapist. A bona fide professional and one who is caring and very passionate about her craft. I have had several sports related muscle strains and few injuries including a torn rotator cuff and shifted neck vertebra. My sessions with her were methodical, focused and addressed whatever physical issues limiting my ability to continue my hobby of road cycling. I also consult with her on issues such as nutrition and general life coaching. Nicole is exceptional at analyzing the problem areas and identifying the underlying biomechanics causing the issues. I am grateful to her every time I take a pain-free ride and enjoy the outdoors. Last but not least it is a pleasure to spend time with Nicole and share our life experiences. She is intelligent, witty and an absolute gem. I strongly recommend Nicole. read more

After two months of working with Nicole I felt compelled to write a testimonial of how appreciative I am for her being in my life and helping with a complete transformation of how I look at my health and wellness. Having played football at Nebraska and in the NFL for a couple years, I thought I knew everything about training and being healthy. But at 54 years old, I have struggled with my weight and suffer from many aches and pains. I really needed a complete overhaul on my lifestyle and my understanding of what it means to be healthy. My decision to ask Nicole for help has been the best decision of my life. Between the coaching calls, and my twice a week training session with Pilates, I have already lost 18 lbs. and the core work that we have been doing has me already a lot stronger and my pain is far less than when I started. From a better understanding of food choices, understanding how to eat, learning breathing exercises, and the mental and physical training that Nicole has provided, I am on my way to a better life. I highly recommend her. read more

I have seen Nichole since 2011 and she has been the only one who can help me with the various physical problems I have. After going through two Thoracic procedures I had numerous problems including terrible muscle spasms and problems with my posture that also resulted in breathing problems not utilizing my diaphragm properly. She was able to bring me back to a stable place where I can exercise again, build up my strength and return to a normal and enjoyable life. She is wonderful and after our appointments I always leave uplifted , energized and have learned something new that I did not know before. She looks at the problems to solve holistically, never just one angle and offers solutions that are individually targeted towards the specific need and also realistic to implement to ensure long term success. read more
