You the specialist should one, educate the client and two, be clear on their ask. I was clear on my simple request to be a lighter brown. How on earth we got to "LOOKS LIKE GINGER" is unacceptable!!!! Though she offered to add darker pigment the damage was already done. I had to cancel meetings, reschedule, and postpone an interview due to the lack of formality my appearance would have had. After a $220 dollar experience I had to run to Safeway for box dye so that I could make the rest of my meetings that day. After reaching out and explaining my POV on why I am requesting a particular refund of $120 she REFUSED. Yes, she's offering to redo my hair but I'm already back to normal that's to MY OWN PURCHASE LF BOX DYE from Safeway....
