After seeing Tammy, I lost the last 10 pounds of baby weight I had been carrying around, lowered my blood pressure, BMI and body fat, increased my hydration levels, and lost a full 1.5 inches in my waist. More importantly, her lessons really sunk in - I'm officially out of the program and am still carrying on strong. I've even converted my husband, dad, and step-mom too! Jesse and Scott are both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to train with. We're at different fitness levels, but they've created customized workouts that challenge us both and keep us motivated. After investing in countless coaches and courses, I…read morewas ready to finally put an end to all the second-guessing and commit to a plan tailored specifically for me. I enrolled in the self-paced program after doing my research and seeing overwhelmingly positive reviews. In hindsight, not meeting anyone on video beforehand and relying solely on text communication was a mistake on my part. After taking the initial quiz, I guessed my body type and was assigned a coach who shared that same type. I followed the program precisely for six weeks and saw no results after the first week. Only then did I learn I'd been placed in the wrong program for the wrong body type. I was reassigned to one of the founders, who reviewed my case and matched my correct type. Another 2-3 weeks went by with zero progress, even after overhauling my routines yet again. I even paid extra for their Tier 2 service, with no changes or signs of improvement. I did everything that was asked of me: 15,000 steps a day, consistent powerlifting, hydration, structure, and discipline, yet nothing changed. Instead, my lack of progress was attributed to mindset, quantum physics, and somatic blocks. I'm trained in trauma-informed care and have spent years doing deep somatic and therapeutic work. I fully understand the mind-body connection. But when a program cannot deliver results, shifting the responsibility back onto the client feels dismissive and unfair. Ultimately, it felt like the blame was placed on me when my coach no longer knew how to support my case which is exactly why I hired them in the first place. While I appreciate receiving a $750 refund for the Tier 2 upgrade, I am still left having spent $1,500 on a self-paced program that did not work for me. This is simply my experience. Be thoughtful, do your research, and I truly hope your results are better than mine.

I was…read morebasically trying to piece meal my way through ALL the conflicting info out on the internet and Instagram, and was so frustrated with my lack of consistent progress, even though I used to work so hard to try to eat right and workout every day to try and make my body composition and strength goals. Now, I have full clarity and confidence to know what to eat, when, and how much eat and workout to accomplish my body and athletic goals- in any and every circumstance!!! I did all of this all while traveling the world. That peace of mind, confidence, and increased self love I now have for myself is freaking invaluable. And I credit all of that to me working with Green Door Life. I lost fat, gained muscle, toned and built my overall body, and even lost cellulite- I didn't even know that was freaking possible, since I've worked to lose my cellulite for the last 15 years!! And, I did all of this while traveling through 8 different countries and living nomadically full time. I've completed the 12 week nutrition group program and some 1:1 coaching, I'm not trying to overstate this in anyway - it has literally changed my life. This isn't a quick fix or some fad, their courses and coaching is revolutionary to your whole life moving forward. The coaching around food and nutrition is expansive not restrictive. They give you the fundamental deep knowledge and psychological support needed in order to make any situation, any country, and basically any restaurant or food navigable for your goals. What I love about their coaching style is they make you self sufficient and empowered. There is no ongoing sales cycle and unlike other coaching programs, they don't make you feel you need them to keep your gains. I have a completely different and loving relationship to my body, the way I view and eat food is informed and fun, and my daily behaviors and internal throughs are so different and aligned for who I am becoming more of each day, and who I want to be, than how I was when I started the program. I highly recommend working with Green Door Life through their different courses and coaching. I am going to do their upcoming Awaken your Cycles and Strength courses as well, because the amount of value and life changing outcomes I get from them and their courses is literally worth 10x the amount they are priced.

    I honestly came to see Willie Victor to see if she could help me lose weight. At 41, and after…read morestruggling with diet, body image and having tried every single diet known to mankind, I figured I would try a professional. After running tests on many things, we found out I was not absorbing vitamins, have high cholesterol, low thyroid, dangerously low resting blood sugar and gut issues. YAY! Just kidding. Not about that list though. I had no idea there were so many things going on (besides my diet) that were contributing to my low energy and absolute inability to lose weight anymore. There seemed to be nothing I could do. But Willie convinced me otherwise. We even did tests to find food sensitivities and the foods that cause the most inflammation for me. I was not surprised the 2 main offenders are dairy and gluten. Creating a food plan that worked for me would be painful and a grieving process...no joke. The reason it took me this long to even get to Willie is that I did not want to give up pizza and I did not want to invest the work and time I knew it would take to find a good balance with food and to achieve my optimum body weight. BUT...I did. Almost 5 months into working with her, I finally feel like I am in a rhythm. For the first time in my life I do not feel like I am on a diet. I eat a massive variety of foods, I cook more, I plan better for the week and I set myself up for success day in and day out, with healthy snacks that work for me (and sometimes I do eat pizza). I don't count calories ..I simply eat the foods that make me feel good and healthy. As time goes by, I miss the foods I dumped, less and less. When I do choose to indulge on those dumped foods I feel bloated, sometimes nauseated and really, really tired. It also takes me a few days to feel my energy go back up again...so most of the time, it isn't worth it. I've lost around a pound a week, which felt really frustrating at first. A yo yo dieter, I often starved myself or lost a ton of water weight in the beginning of diets (which is really bad for you of course), so I would lose weight on the scale, fast. This time, I am actually losing weight for real and gaining muscle as I exercise and make that more of a routine as well. I have learned through Wille that with my particular body, the whole fasting thing and these long breaks between meals was hurting me and setting me up for disaster over and over. I have learned so much from Willie about taking care of myself and eating frequently in a way that 1. I don't think about or obsess about food so much. 2. I don't feel deprived. 3. I finally feel like I am living the cliché that I have made a "lifestyle" change. 4. Cravings for specific foods have all but disappeared. The only thing that brings them back is hormones sometimes or if something really emotional happens. And now I am better at identifying those feelings so I don't have to eat them. So..it's not perfect, but it is so much better. I feel that most of us know what the best eating plan is for us...we just don't want to let go of the foods that give us the most comfort. And maybe you won't have to..but finding out exactly what my unique body needed and where I could thrive the most, changed my life for the better. I am so grateful for Willie and as we come to a close of the program I am working with her, I plan to just segue to individual sessions once every few weeks to check in and continue to receive her support and guidance, because she is that good. If you are finally ready to let go and face the fact that you can have the body you want and you can have the energy level you want..and you can be healthy through focus, dedication, education and hard work, I would highly recommend Willie Victor.

And after a couple of classes, I was hooked. Jen motivates you without acting like a drill sergeant. Her classes are nothing but positive and free-spirited. It's odd when you can exercise and smile/laugh at the same time. That's the kind of environment she creates for her classes. BTW, most of the students in my spin class have been training with Jen for years. Now THAT says something. And come to think of it, I guess I'm now one of her regulars. FYI - Jen's spin class is every Monday and Wednesday (12pm) @ The Club at Harbor Point. You can't beat the bayside views while you pedal and sweat.
