The spray we ordered for our coworker's Celebration of Life service was done beautifully and looked very much like the photograph we used to make our choice. It had a great selection of flowers that held up very well between the time of the visitation at the funeral home and the church service several days later. Highly recommend. read more

I was looking up floral shops in Virginia to surprise my grandma for Valentine's Day, this place popped up with great reviews with a 5 stars rating. I had to check out the website and there were so many choices to choose from but I chose an arrangement that had Lillies (my favorite flower) mixed with Roses since that's grandma's favorite. Since I'm all the way in California, I made sure to call the shop to confirm my order and would also like to see the bouquet before the delivery. The lady I spoke with took my number down and sent me a peek of the arrangement, and it was perfect . I definitely would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to get flowers for friends/family. And mostly definitely I will be a return customer as well. Thank you for making my grandmother's day today. Your flowers had my grandma in tears read more

Nicola Flora - Beautiful lilac-colored glads. - Florists Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

Recently I wanted to send a meaningful gift overnight to a beloved relative who is very ill. It was near closing time for area florists. The hospital had said no flowers are allowed at this time. Nicola Flora's website showed a single beautiful flower inside a glass globe on a stand, but they didn't have my relative's favorite color, red, in stock. The staff person at the florist went above and beyond, spending a lot of time over the phone and (successfully) hunting down a red rose at some sort of probably-informal sister business. As promised, the next morning, Nicola Flora made the delivery. My relative really appreciated the gift. I can recommend Nicola Flora without hesitation! https://www.nicolaflora.com/products/enchanting-real-rose-globe?pr_prod_strat=e5_desc&pr_rec_id=09a31b339&pr_rec_pid=4810386440254&pr_ref_pid=10415756542263&pr_seq=uniform read more

We were in Richmond on a spur of the moment trip. I wanted to surprise my wife with flowers for when we got to the hotel. I picked Nicola Flora based on yelp reviews, if anything Nicola exceeded all my expectations. From helping me on the phone to select the right arrangement, to a perfect delivery, to an arrangement that was even more Impressive in person then in the web site photo. Needless to say my wife was floored by the surprise and the beautiful and stunning arrangement. My only regret is that Nicola Flora isn't located up here in Maryland because she is truly a floral artist. read more

This is a different kind of review for me because I have never been in this shop, I have never ordered flowers from the shop, and I really don't know much about the shop from a personal experience. Here is what I do know. My dad is a 91-year-old gentleman who loves sending flowers to his female relatives on their birthdays, Valentine's Day, etc. He is not always the easiest person to deal with, but clearly this florist is able to understand what he wants and take his order. That's a big plus for me. The real reason I'm hitting them with five stars is their delivery guy. He always calls me to let me know that he's on the way with flowers. This week he called and let me know he was on the way but he was concerned because it was hot outside and didn't want to leave the flowers on the porch. I was at work and I went ahead and gave him the address of a neighbor who I knew would be home. He went ahead and deliver the flowers there. Now here's the kicker. He saw that another florist had delivered flowers to my wife for her birthday as well and went to the house and picked them up off of the porch and brought them to the neighbor who had already delivered the flowers that my father had ordered. That is a level of customer service that deserves five stars! Let's all work to keep these local folks in business! read more

I am so pleased with the flowers that I ordered today from Nicola Flora. I spoke with a wonderful woman named Jackie on the phone. She was really nice and really helpful. I explained that I would like to have an arrangement of flowers sent to my sister in honor of her 14th wedding anniversary, which is a very sweet occasion that also has a poignant, bittersweet quality to it because my sister's husband passed away within the first year of their marriage. (Nevertheless, they had many happy years together before the actual marriage.) Nicola Flora took the order this morning and delivered the flowers this afternoon. What a quick turnaround! And my sister was thrilled. Thank you so much, Nicola Flora! read more

I ordered a bouquet on behalf of my office for a recovering colleague. I have ordered from Nicola Flora a handful of times over the past few years, and each time I have been extremely pleased with the entire process. Online ordering is easy as can be, with lots of great options from which to choose. The flowers & greenery are always of the highest quality and last a long time. As other folks have previously noted, you can count on unbelievable customer service. I've needed to adjust delivery details on a couple orders with short notice, and the folks at Nicola Flora have absolutely made it happen! (Thank you Nicole for being so willing to work with me today! My wife was thrilled with the arrangement, and is looking forward to showing it off in her classroom tomorrow!!) I ordered a $100 bouquet for a friend as a thank you. I live out of state and was told that it would be a "large" bouquet. What my friend ended up with was less than what I expected. I even referenced a picture on their website that I liked. I don't think I will be using this florist again. read more

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday and they were beautifully arranged. My order was ready on time, the pricing was reasonable, and I received friendly instructions for caring for flowers. I would call on them again. I called Nicola Flora in the late morning requesting a bouquet to be delivered by mid afternoon. In addition to my time frame, I shared the occasion and my price point. When asked for preferences, I knew that I was calling the day of the request and supplies may be limited, so I asked that they create a bouquet fitting of the occasion with what they had in shop letting their creativity move them. I could not be happier with the result. Nicola Flora is a professional, timely, affordable, and incredibly talented floral shop that I highly recommend. read more

Nicola Flora - My picture does not do this beautiful arrangement justice. Call Nicola Flora to discover their talent for yourself. - Florists Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

I walked in after lunch the other day and spoke to the owner. It is no secret that I am a big fan of locally owned businesses and I think every neighborhood should have a local florist who is involved in the community, which this owner, Nicole is. They do everything a florist traditionally does, events, weddings, arrangements, special occasions, funerals etc. The shop also has last minute gift items. My most favorite thing they do is arrange flowers in antique 30s and 40s pottery vessels that really add an amazing and super unique twist to traditional arrangements. They charge 5 to 10 dollars extra for this service, an amazing deal! They carry items from local artists as well. I encrourage anyone living North of Richmond to utilize this local treasure as your preferred florist. Think globally, buy locally! read more

I love the gift shop portion of this quaint Northside boutique. Along with beautiful floral arrangements, there's an entire selection of hand-picked gifts. There are reusable bags and water bottles, candles, furniture items, gourmet treats and more. You'll also find locally made Row House Soaps, Modern June aprons and oilcloth accessories. Want to send something other than a gift basket? The owner can also make custom-themed baskets. One of her favorites is an Italy-themed basket with spaghetti, sauce, extra virgin olive oil, cooking spoons, biscotti and even handmade kitchen soap. This store is the perfect place to find a great gift, no matter who you're shopping for. read more

I already left a review on google but I am so happy with this business I had to come here too. I ordered flowers for Mother's Day last Friday. I normally use the well known websites but I procrastinated and missed the delivery window so I gave them a try. The arrangement is beautiful, the value was much better than the online places, and the delivery was very affordable and next day as I had asked. I am in California and I was a little hesitant putting the responsibility in the hands of a business I had never used from across the country but I couldn't be happier and neither could my mother. The gentleman that answered the phone was very nice and helpful and it was a quick and easy process. Customer for life! Thanks again! read more

The three staff members I had contact with were helpful and kind. But the $75 bouquet of flowers purchased for my wife on our anniversary had a dull presentation. The flowers arrived with few colors, lots of greenery, and the dominant flower in quantity and size (lilies) were not in bloom. I returned the bouquet and they kindly added colored flowers saying the closed Lilies would bloom in 1-2 days. It's now day 5 and only 2 are open. The bouquet wasn't designed to make a splash and that is a big disappointment. read more
