However, when Mike Camille came out, his service was great, minus BSing me on a part cost to replace a temp sensor on my HVAC residential unit. "Oh that Honeywell part cost..". After getting back in town from work and some minor research, I guessed the part cost was $20-120. However, my bill was $429 (I already paid the service fee). Mike comes out and I ask why it was so much for a part that is $20-120, and he tells me it was $109 part, and bc of labor, " an hour to pick it up and then install".... He was here 40 mins. Last time I checked labor was for labor and not their time to pick up a part they already had in stock several weeks ago (pre scheduled). I warned you - customer service for price gouging.. and I won't be using you all again if this price stands. You said (pleasantly), "I'm not that technical and I'll talk to the boss about it and get back to you". Funny how I never heard back from you or the boss. Nor an email for a customer review... I guess you all forgot about a quote I asked about, as in I wanted a second unit installed in one of the attics, for $12-15k. Comical, you just lost that business and any other business of mine, over $350 worth of "labor" for 30-40 mins worth of time. Well done!

To start my review, I want to be clear that I think if you only need maintenance, this place seemed…read moreto have reasonable prices and the technician I interacted with seemed very knowledgeable. HOWEVER - if you are looking for a new install - RUN AWAY QUICKLY. After an initial troubleshooting session, it was determined that we needed to replace one of our 2 units all together. This was not a huge shock to us, but unfortunately our knowledgeable technician left and sent in a sales guy. AND WOW - this guy was the definition of SALES GUY. He walked into our home and immediately starts talking about changing every single one of our vent covers, he apparently has special ones, while we had "bottom of the line Lowe's covers". He then brings out some book that he is entirely too proud of, with essentially 3 package options - all of which also includes replacing our furnace - which we are not having ANY issues with. When asked why we would need to do that, he gave no good answer. We asked if he had any packages that did not include replacing the furnace - he did not. He keeps pointing us to pages in his "special" book - which were outdated and had essentially zero information on it, except a large price tag at the bottom of each page. When we asked about brand names, his response "I don't worry about brand names". Except he very much worries about brand names - they only install one brand, which is at the bottom of every consumer report.. but it's "American Made" - so it's worth the higher price tag - right? When we told him we needed to sleep on it and asked for his price sheets so we could review our (limited) options, we were told no. He doesn't leave anything with his customers for fear of his competitors stealing his package offerings. WHAT A JOKE! You come into my house proposing to redo all the duct work and replacing every single thing attached the unit, and want us to drop $14,000 .. without leaving us any information to look over? We immediately called Climate Experts after wasting our day with this place, and were so relieved to find reasonable prices and honest answers. Bottom line, do not waste your time with Infinity Texas Air unless you have money to burn!!
