Love to go here during the long winter months in Minneapolis - there are always new rides to test yourself against. The waits can sometimes be long but I don't think I've ever waited more than 20 minutes max. read more

I work here and I just wanted to let you all know that if you ever feel confused or frustrated in the theme park, which I've heard can happen a lot, please talk to one of the employees in the yellow, orange, blue, or purple polo shirts in the park (of the mall). We are happy to answer questions and make your time at the mall the best it can be. read more

Liked the flow. Got there on Friday morning and crowd was small. Awesome! Hint...we followed MN people into parking. Took the left to east parking and went all the way to the end (California section --- level 2). This brought us right in by Nick. Universe. Rock Star parking!!! read more

We had a great time, my daughter loved the rides and we were literally there from the time it opened until the time they closed. Not to sure about the theme, my daughter doesn't care for sponge bob, Dora, or any of the other characters. I heard that the camp snoopy was cuter. They have a few rides for all ages, there is a log ride my daughter enjoyed the most and a ride that goes upside down that she also loved. I loved the orange streak, it's just a regular roller coaster, hubby loved the Air Bender. Most of all, they have packed a lot into a small area. read more

If the kids rated it, it'd get four stars. This adult who isn't particularly tolerant of lines knocks it a star for that. Come early if you want to avoid the lines. Log ride and orange coaster are the kids' favorites - each tolerable for ride-averse adults. Look for deals online as it can get pricey otherwise. Enough for toddlers and tweens -- true thrill-seekers will likely be disappointed (try Valleyfair instead). read more

I don't have children, nor do I have nieces or nephews... I came here after having too many drinks on the second floor and opted for a cheap thrill to help sober me up before finishing out my shopping day. (I personally suggest the Sponge Bob Square Pants roller coaster.) With that said, be forewarned, this area isn't cheap. However, for parents, its a convenient place to part ways with the kiddos to proceed with a day of shopping. After 5 pm, an unlimited pass will run you $20. Which isn't bad but considering you can go to Valley Fair for that, it can be a little hard to swallow. If not wanting to spend all day there, for $6 you can catch one ride to break up the monotony of shopping... read more

We had a great time. Friendly staff and very clean. Get the wristband- the rides can be pricey. Excellent variety of rides- my two year old, five year old, husband and I all had fun on the rides. Saturdays are busy; Sunday there were very short lines. read more

Very pricey but fun. We only did one ride because it's either 6 dollars a ride or 30 for the whole day. Most of the rides are pretty skinny ones so husband can't do those. I wish they had more variety as it would have made the arm bands worth it. read more

My 6 yr old daughter had a ball. She loves roller coasters and there are a couple of thrill rides that she can get on. They are really strict with the height measurements which is good. During slow hours during the week rides alternate running because they switch operators. My daughter was exhausted after 6 hours of nonstop fun! We will have to come back, she says.....when she's 2 inches taller! read more

If you pick certain twilight times pretty cool deal. 20 for unlimited rides and if your kid is young like mine adults ride for free. BTW - the smaller bumper cars is perfect for the little ones to be driving by themselves. For under 5 my kid loves the Big Rigs, the Cars, the Bumper Cars. read more

This place is awesome for little kids a lot to do the lines are not that long the most your wait is maybe 10 minutes the wristbands are pretty expensive but if you go there after 5 p.m. there's a discount they have great character that come out every hour read more

Taking covid into consideration is important. So I'm doing that because I work in the service industry out of state. In one of the most strict states. Anyway, brought my kids to Minnesota specifically for this. Got to the mall early and waited around all day for this specific experience, only for them to only be allowed on 3 rides. They have a list of rides online that are closed, which was expected. However, only half of the rides that they said are open are actually open. Then, the ones that they need a chaperone for, an adult can only chaperone one kid. So my kids couldn't ride. My daughter had her hair in a pony tail, and a ride attendant physically pushed her hair down under the line to get her out of line to say she couldn't ride 1/3 rides that was open for her. Just say something. Especially during covid. Don't touch someone's child. Everyone working there except one guy had a stank attitude. It was a bad experience for having to spend all day waiting and $70 on tickets. read more

My boys and I had the best experience here! It was clean, long rides, super friendly staff, and so much fun to be had. Thank you for one of the best days we have had in a long time! The giggles, smiles, and ease of everything was priceless! We will definitely be back! read more

This is such a fun place BUT!!! There measurements for riders is off my daughter was 42 1/2 inches at the doctor's office the card board cutout at the start of a couple rides says shes 42inches on the dot. When she goes in line to get on the ride the measurement sign the attendee has days shes about 3 inches to short??? Something is off. It's frustrating when you plan a trip and pay for wristbands for her to ride a handful of baby rides, when they just bore her and she tall enough to ride the exciting ones. I wouldn't of boughten wristbands let alone planned to spend a whole there, and get her excited to ride rides. read more

Wish it was still called Camp Snoopy. It's still fun though! Still has good rides. And I like the lights after 7:30pm

Nickelodeon Universe is great! The staff is wonderful and treated my toddler son very kind. Amanda at customer service/ticketing was wonderful and went above and beyond for us. We were there just for an hour before closing and my son got to enjoy a ton of rides and even got some extra time on the ones that had no one else on them. This is not an elaborate theme park like Disney, but it definitely makes the little ones happy and allows kids a break from the shopping. Also, anyone who went to Camp Snoopy as a kid, they have improved on the rides for all ages! read more

Horrible experience- if you are not 5 feet tall rides follow a schedule and employees do not follow it. Waited over 30 minutes for one rode and it wasn't open when we started during its scheduled time and still didn't reopen at the next scheduled time. This place just doesn't want to hire employees. No longer family friendly. Rides that are open like the merry go round have Disney size lines as other rides are closed for the little kids. Unsure if I will try this again with a toddler. read more

If you go to their website or download the app retailmenot for coupons you can get the unlimited wristband for $15 on week days

If you've never brought your kids here, seriously buy the unlimited wristband ride all the rides it's a great time. You do get a discount if you buy The Wristband online I do believe. read more

A 5 except for: Light show never happened at end of day. No one seemed to know why. Also, zipline stole 1 1/2 hour from our day. Kid entered at 8:00 pm so we thought we could then eat afterwards at the extensive food court but he only emerged at 9:30 pm (food court was then closed) due to the line at top. It was only 15 people long but the wait for your turn up there is long. Rest of park and our two day pass was fabulous! 10 minute lines for rides and the grandparents (or anyone) can enter and watch for free. read more

We had a great time. We had a great time riding rides and going to the arcade. The Caribou Coffee in there is awful though. Some of the staff need to work on the way they treat children as a couple were rude and one pushed my son out of the way instead of asking him nicely to move. read more

Took my daughter (8) & nephew (2) & they both loved it! Large assortment of rides for all ages! We'll definitely be back!

The worse experience. I have lived here for years and every time we come to the mall my kids convince me to go to the park to partake in some rides. However. each time we do we spend more time in lines than having fun. The problem is not waiting, the issue is watching one worker run the rides at a snails pace. It is obvious the park is cutting cost by having one person manage the rides while patrons wait longer than they have to and become more annoyed as the "worker" slowly inspects with no sense of urgency or customer service. $37 for an all day pass when 5 hours gets you 5 rides. Absolutelyridiculous. But shame on me for allowing my kids to convince me the park is going to improve its policies and become more patron friendly. read more

don't come here expecting 6 flags. this is a mall attraction. the employees could be working in any chain and have the same disinterested look of almost pain to let you have fun. kids had fun and well worth the price paid of free. read more

Just very disappointed ~ son/daughter-in-law have taken our grandkids prior, so we bought the family day pass wrist-bands for Christmas this year. On purchase, it asks if "gift". Checked the box. Assumed would get a gift certificate or something ... NO! They were immediately e-mailed & told they could pick up at kiosk upon arrival. No surprise & nothing under the tree ... read more

Clean, decent selection of rides, but mostly cool because it is in the Mall of America! Overall, it is more of a cool thing to see....certainly not comparable to most large amusement parks like Cedar Point, etc......if you have a young child they will be more amused with Crayola in the mall than this. read more

Pros: The rides are very fun. Cons: On August 27th, 2013, the second day of my vacation in Minnesota, I had my new iPhone stolen from the holding cabinet at the Fairly Odd Coaster at the Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America. On August 27th, 2013, 4:15 pm, I took my young nephew to ride the coasters at The Mall of America. Everything started out to be a wonderful afternoon, we purchased our tickets from an enthusiastic young man working at the ticket kiosk (though in retrospect he never mentioned the security issues that I found out later plague this venue) we received our tickets and then we proceeded to ride the coasters. Our first ride we rode was The Rock Bottom Plunge. We got in line and waited our turns, when it came time for our turn we entered the ride and a nice young lady asked for our loose items. I gave her my keys & iPhone and she promptly put them in a numbered drawer and she secured my items while we rode the coaster. When the ride was done, we exited the coaster and the young lady promptly gave my belongings back. It was a wonderful start to a great day at the Mall. Our second ride took us to The Fairly Odd Coaster. We got in line and waited for our turn, the ride manger scanned our ticket, and we waited for a bit longer next to the largest sign within sight in the booth "ALL LOOSE ARTICLES MUST GO IN THE CABINET ". After the ride manager sent the people just in front of us off on the ride I placed my iPhone and car keys in the bin that was labeled "ALL LOOSE ARTICLES MUST GO IN THE CABINET". When it was our turn, the ride manager helped us board & we rode off and had a great ride. However, but when we returned and exited the car, my iPhone was no longer in the bin. I brought this up the ride manager and she got perturbed at me for putting my loose items in the bin as it was clearly stated in a sign on top of the bin (and I had just done so at the request of the previous coaster attendant) Now I am shocked at the thought of what just transpired and she is acting very put off at this inconvenience to her job. She asks me if I would like to have law enforcement come over (DUH!) she calls them and then basically ejects me from the area so as to sweep this callous lack of responsibility on her & Nickelodeon Universe's part out of the sight of other patrons. I am still in shock, waiting out by the ride exit and entrance when security and the police show up. They helped me get a grasp of the event from their point of view; that it happens often enough here to know that I probably would not get my phone back. I have to say; even though I detest how Nickelodeon responded to my needs, I was very pleased with the Mall Security and Bloomington Police officers who took charge. The 2 officers both treated me with honesty, compassion and surprising insight towards this type of crime of opportunity. They both took my info and escorted me up to the proper businesses to help me close and then attain a solution to my stolen phone problem. I would like to thank Officer Brown and Officer Hoffman for their compassion & professionalism. It is too bad the the callous people at Nickelodeon could not do their part. A representative from Nickelodeon never bothered to show up nor even contact me since this incident, even when I came back a few days later, I received absolutely no feedback or correspondence. Again all I got was an excuse..."I'm sorry, but there is nothing we really can do...", a business card and a " We hope this doesn't keep you from enjoying The Nickelodeon Universe again in the future" plug before wishing me a good day. Finally, at no time during any contact with a Nickelodeon employee was the security of my LOOSE ARTICLES was ever brought up. Not by the young man who sold me my ticket or even more importantly by the lazy ride manager who scanned my ticket and who is directly responsible for my iPhone being stolen. She just gave me a nasty look for bringing my missing phone to her attention during her shift. The fact that she did not call a supervisor down immediately speaks volumes. I will not forget this insult anytime soon and will publicly denounce this Viacom disaster for the lazy and callous profit monster it is. I really expected more from Nickelodeon, sadly though they have shown that they care little for the public safety or bringing justice to those they have wronged. read more

Unsatisfied because it costs $7 to go on 1 ride..... ridiculous. Also it made me mad the people make you take your stuff with on the log ride. I don't see the issue of setting it to the side when there's plenty of room. My stuff got soaked. Also the price of a 5x7 picture on a ride is $12.50 which is a lot. read more

My rating is for the park's top notch, super responsive customer service. Barb Ross swiftly responded to a concern I had and went way above-and-beyond to make things right. That woman deserves a raise! Because of this alone, I'll be a repeat customer. (The park also has really great rides, especially considering it's indoors) read more

Ridiculous today. No one paying attention to the 2-dozen people jumping in line in front of you. Daughter sat over an hour at the beginning of a ride line due to constant flow of people cutting in line. Never experienced something so rude as we did today. There's always gonna be a little bit of that, but today was terrible. Worst experience EVER. Heard lots of people complaining about it and a lot of arguments in the crowd. Never been like this before. 150- for nothing. read more

Awesome place to spend the day with the kids and the Caribou Coffee stand in the middle is perfect for the parents as a quick pit stop for extra energy for the parents. The lines were short and the rides seemed long and worth any wait in line. Apple donuts are a must as you go wait to zip line and go through the ropes course. Better yet. Make sure you hit the zip line 1st and then enjoy the donuts. Waiting later means...waiting l-a-t-e-r. Up to 1 1/2-2 hour waits so go there 1st. It's worth the extra $. The day went fast. Even better when the sun came out. The semi truck driving was a hit for my sons. read more

We had so much fun!! Pretty long lines but not too bad. A lot to ride and look at especially for my 4yr old and her attention span. We will def come back so she can ride all the other rides she was too young and short for. I thought the park was not too big and not too small so we didn't have to spend the whole day there even though we did because it was attached to the mall. It gets hot in there even on a cloudy day so dress accordingly. read more

This amusement park is great because it has rides for the whole family some for kids and some for adults. It is super cool to have a amusement park in a mall that is different. But the prices if you want to do individual rides instead of a whole day pass are pretty high for some rides considering my standards but the rides are awesome and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to turn a ordinary mall trip into a adventure!! read more

I love it, but theres one ride I say get rid of: log flume! Everyone I know has gotten hurt on it. Otherwise, love it!

I wanted to give a review on the plus size limits of NU. I am short 5'2" and weight about 230lbs in a sparetire/thigh shape. I do not have a large chest. I have been a frequent Disney traveler. First the orange streak I was able to fit but only if I rope alone. Avatar Aibender was the least forgiving and I did not fit. The issue was where the restraist hit my thighs. It would not click. I do feel if the operator had communicated better I could have emptied my pockets and possibly got the bar to click. Fairly Odd coaster is tight but I fit. Sponge bob required to operator to put his weight into my restraight and it was tight on my legs but it did close. That is an awesome ride. You need to be careful when riding as the adult with a child on some rides. Barnyard hayride was very uncomfortable but did click. However, the child I rode with was not adequatly restrained and I had them release the seat. Bubble guppies was very very very uncomfortable. I was sideways. Swiper sweepers just has a seatbelt so if your legs fit it will be fine. I rode shell shock but do not remeber how the restraight felt. Just know that NU is not plus size forgiving. If you are traveling with kids who need an adult to ride bring a smaller person to accompany them on the kids rides. I do love that the adult does not require a ticket or wristband. read more

People that bicker about prices here need to look at the big picture, as an outting here if done right can be much cheaper than going to Valleyfair where prices are almost 50 bucks a ticket plus 12 bucks for parking. Yes, Valleyfair has many more ride options and has especially a lot of good water rides and your admission pays for the whole day but sometimes a whole day isnt what you want, sometimes it is fun to do a variety of things like come here, buy 20 something dollars worth of tickets, let your kid go on a few rides, go shop for a while, go have dinner somewhere in the mall, then use up the rest of your 20 something bucks worth of tickets you bought earlier and then go home. Yes I agree that a day at MOA can get expensive after some shopping and then eating at a decent sit down restaurant, but really the Nickelodeon theme park portion of it doesnt have to be that expensive. If you like unlimited rides, come after 5pm to get the deal for 20 bucks. My family and I live in a suburb east of Saint Paul (Maplewood) about 25 minutes from MOA that has a regional suburban mall that is big with most stuff we need and live within 5 minutes any direction of our house from all of the major chain stores, strip malls up the ying yang, multiple Target and Walmarts, you get the picture so we really dont have much reason to come here often but when we do its mainly to see our kid have a little fun. read more
