First off let me tell you about the amazing staff they have at Nickell Fire Protection. Each person I spoke to was professional and welcoming. I needed to get two fire extinguishers serviced and certified so I was looking around. Called a few spots until I came to Nickell. They transferred me to the tech Jose and I left a message and he got back to me promptly. He said they could come out in two days to do it or I can bring it in, so I decided to bring it in for faster service. Jose was clear and explained everything over the phone. When I got to the shop the great customer service kept on continuing. I was greeted as I walked in, filled out the paperwork and David picked up the extinguishers within minutes. As I sat there, I talked to the staff for about ten minutes, then David comes back and walks both extinguishers out to my car for me. I parked maybe about 200 feet away and the extinguishers were not light. Overall best customer service I got all year and I'd recommend EVERYONE to send them your business. Apparently did an extinguisher check last year. Tech showed up today without an appt., service tag in hand from last year showing the service they did. Huge red flag is that our credit card number, expiration date and security code was right on front of the paperwork. Huge no, no. Out of compliance with Merchant Services, and risking unsecured credit card practices... Yikes! read more

Took 2 extinguishers from my garage over to be serviced (the gauges were reading low) and they told me one was out of date and needed to be pressure tested and the other couldn't be serviced. Both were 5lb powder types. They tested and serviced the good one for $45 ($20 for the service and $25 for the pressure test), and sold me a new one to replace the non-serviceable one for $65, which is only a little more than what I paid for the non-serviceable extinguisher when it was new. To top it all off, it only took about 15 minutes! TL;DR: Good people, great price, and fast service. Can't go wrong with these folks! read more

I went over there to do the fire extinguisher refill and inspection. They have a very organized office, and work shop. Just wait for 5 minutes to get everything done, and charge is very reasonable.
