I met with Dr. Natan Yaker and immediately felt at ease with him and knew he was the surgeon for me! We discussed my goals and set about making a plan for surgery. The entire staff is so helpful and kind. Nurse Edna is especially kind and skillful at removing stitches, as is Yeimi. I met with Carrie, the patient coordinator and she was so accommodating. When I go to med spas, the first thing I look at is the staff, and if they all look overdone, it is a red flag for me. The staff is friendly. After meeting Dr.A, my husband and I liked him. He is like talking to an old friend and is very personable. I could tell he is a cerebral thinker. He didn't overpromise and explained possible outcomes with my unique case. I appreciate the honesty. He was very informative and took his time with me. On the day of surgery, I felt comfortable, and again, his staff is so friendly. The anesthesiologist was so kind, and she even put nutrients in my PIC line. I woke up and felt very alert and had minimal discomfort. My recovery time was short, and I believe the nutrients helped. When I saw my after photo, in surgery, before the swelling kicked in, I couldn't believe it was my body. Dr A is a Michelangelo, A renaissance man! I am so impressed by his skill and artistic eye. I am looking forward to seeing the results as I heal. I am using infrared light to aid in discomfort, swelling, and inflammation, along with supplements and a high-protein chicken bone broth soup, so my discomfort level is minimal. But for now I would like to express my gratitude and excitement for how incredible Dr. Bader and his staff are. Every moment of my experience has been so refreshing compared to my primary where I was constantly rushed and dismissed. Bader was very patient during my consult and answered every question with thorough answers. He also pointed out issues I didn't even notice that were actually pretty major (after I expressed what I saw was wrong). I am an actress and performer, and I've been extremely nervous about how the revision would affect me. But I feel very confident that I will end up with exactly what I wanted because Bader really listened to my goals during my pre-op and on the surgery day. I can tell he knew what I was going for. The staff at the surgery center were also amazing and made me feel so comfortable. And immediately upon waking up the nurse was so attentive to my pain. And then the after care was also great. Jill has been my point of contact on the app for any immediate concerns, and I really appreciate how quick she responds ! I had an infection with my primary and it took them over a week to respond to me and send antibiotics. But with Jill she responds to everything the same day, sometimes within the same hour! I loved my experience so much. Hopefully no more rhinoplasty's, but Dr. Bader also does face lifts so when it comes time for that, I will definitely be seeing him as he is my favorite surgeon ever!!

She initially texted asking what time would work for a call. We agreed on a time, but the call never came. Seventeen minutes after the scheduled time we texted to ask if it was still happening. She did not respond until 11:37 the following day, asking when would be a good time to speak. We replied that we were flexible, but again received no response. I then tried calling the office directly to schedule the consultation. Monica refused to schedule it, citing HIPAA, and would not even provide a general price range to confirm Dr. Bader was within our budget. Then my wife tried calling the office. The receptionist said Monica would email her. She did, asking what time my wife would be available the following Monday. My wife replied with a suggested time -- and once again received no confirmation or response. After calling again on Monday, my wife finally got Monica on the phone for a "pre-consultation" call. Instead of scheduling the consultation, Monica insisted she pick a surgery date first, claiming the consult date depended on when my wife planned to have surgery? (We are ready to move forward immediately once we find the right surgeon.) When my wife mentioned we were planning to travel to Dallas for in-person consults with Dr. Bader along with two other surgeons, Monica abruptly ended the call mid-conversation, saying she would call back in an hour. She never called back. This was the FIFTH TIME she blew us off. In researching rhinoplasty we have spoken with several practices from Dallas to Turkey to Beverly Hills. Every office we interacted with was courteous and professional. Except this one. If I ran a business and discovered an employee was treating prospective patients this way, I would be mortified.

On March 15 and again on March 21, I made requests for my medical records. My interaction with Jennifer Castro regarding this matter was unsatisfactory. Transcarent, a company utilized by my employer, sought access to my medical records, prompting Jennifer to inquire whether I had granted permission for them to receive the records. Despite confirming my consent, Jennifer expressed her belief that it was unethical for Transcarent to make such requests, citing negative reviews of the company. Despite my insistence, Jennifer refused to release the records to Transcarent, insisting that they could only be sent to me. She requested a signed letter matching the signature on file before releasing them. After waiting for days without receiving the records, I followed up with Jennifer, only to discover that she had sent them to the wrong email address, displaying incompetence on her part. Additionally, her unprofessionalism, including criticism of my choice of surgeon and the quality of her company's services, was unwarranted. Despite her tenure, Jennifer's rude behavior warrants attention and resolution.

I'm not sure if the lipo I got was technically chin lipo. It was chin and neck lipo - the entire jawline is hit making it even more of a value. This means there were three incisions: both sides of the top of the jaw by the ear and one under the chin. I'm a baby and handled the local anesthesia. It felt like going to the dentist and getting lidocaine when the tumescent solution was injected. Keep in mind, I was high when this happened as I had hydrocodone and Xanax - all monitored by the doctor. I'm assuming this is the more cost effective form of sedation. In this economy, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I've had Kybella before (what a waste) at a separate medspa and I think the burning of that was way worse than the few seconds of injection pain required for local anesthesia. Once the procedure was started by Dr. Obasi, the entire procedure took less than five minutes. Again, the bulk of the time required is from waiting for your meds to kick in and then waiting again for your local anesthesia to kick in. I think general anesthesia is a bit riskier given the procedure is only five minutes... Results: Even with swelling and bruising, my jawline is now certified snatched. No more double chin. The price I paid was in line with the price I would have paid in Turkey, so it was definitely worth it.
