HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT USE LINCOLN FINANCIAL! Trying to close my account has been a…read morefrustrating process with nobody returning calls or sending the correct forms. Their mistakes cost me a lot of money. I've been waiting for my money for weeks. When I called to check the status, I couldn't understand a word she was saying. Finally, she said they gave me the wrong form and I have to start over. Nobody contacted me to tell me that!! Their error cost me thousands as the market has gone down significantly. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they'll call me. Still waiting. Do NOT invest your hard earned money with this joke of a company unless you want nothing but problems!

I was sold a LFN Fixed Annuity as well as a Primerica Life Insurance policy back in 2013. I cancellef the life insurance policy in 2022 relatively easily. My problem was in surrendering the annuity this year. Primerica agents were not responsive and provided no assistance in the process and gave me the wrong number to contact Lincoln Financial Directly. It took me 2 days of being on terminal hold, being hung up on, spoken to with such thick accents as to be not understandable to finally reach 2 agents that eventually got me to t h e correct team. I was emailed a form to complete and submit. The form was confusing and did not explain fully what information was needed. Primerica agent would not assist with the submission, even though the first question asked by LFG is to determine if the caller is the agent or the client. I submitted the form. Crickets!!!! When I finally reached the Annuity team to try and figure out why no response or contact was made, was told they mailed a letter that I should receive in 10 days. Multiple calls and stop payments on missing checks with 10 business days in between each, I finally got my money today. I has only taken 2 months and 2 bottles of aspirin!! Steer clear, as most agents and employees are not there to help you.

Went to a couple of Seminars at a restaurant and did a phone interview after the second one in…read morewhich I asked some pointed questions about their plans, experience and their clients ROR. After every question I was told that's a really good question and was given a half answer, their goal being to get me in to their office for a one on one sales pitch. But was not ready yet even though everything looked good because I am not investing for my future but my families for the next 100 years for a family dynasty trust and as I am in poor health and need to be cautious and sure of where I put my trust assets as I likely at this point have a very limited life expectancy. So I get another invitation to go to a third dinner and pitch where I think maybe I can get reassured and more comfortable with these strangers who want to manage my family wealth, so I make the reservation. Yesterday they call me to confirm, knowing exactly who I am. Today, after driving a half hour to the restaurant, and waiting in the wait area for another 15 min. I get to check in and as I am walking through the doors to the room to be seated, keep in mind now that I have severe COPD and am a disabled veteran on disability and have trouble breathing and am physically exhausted and needing to sit down, one of the event people ask if they can talk to me. Of course, they want to talk over here, away from prying ears and other attendees, to be told at that point, we only allow people to attend two of these events if they do not sign up to be clients. OMG, they should be glad my son had accompanied me to help me and my wife was not with me as she would have gone off on them for such a misdeed. They could have cancelled at any time before I am walking in the door. I got no apology. Stay tuned as I will be posting a second review with a list of the questions asked and answers received. At this point in time I would not give serious consideration to using this group for your financial planning if they feel no remorse about treating people this way, can they do much better for clients when their backs are turned? UPDATE: In Response to your reply to my review, you make it sound as if I disrupted your event when in truth, as I stated in my review, this all happened BEFORE the event started as people were being allowed in the door to be seated. The only thing I said to you, (after being informed at the event, not while the reservation was accepted by you when made, or when you called the day before to personally confirm my reservation, or at any time prior to me using up my limited strength, and time to travel to your event), was that I would let people know how you treat others. I made no comments to anyone in line or in the waiting area and if there was a disruption in the event it was someone else because you asked me to leave before your event started, so stop with the lies. I did state above that you should be glad my wife wasn't there because she would have made a scene and called you out in front of everyone whereas I prefer the non-confrontational method of simply stating truth for all to judge and I find your telling of untruths in your response to be very unprofessional and a low class way of trying to shift blame. Shame on you.
