I ran my own catering company for twelve years and planned my share of weddings; I am well aware that Sarah's graceful and seemingly effortless execution of the entire extravaganza was, in reality, the result of assiduous attention to detail, tireless preparation and contingency planning and a wonderful capacity for collaboration and communication. She juggled the often conflicting priorities of the bride, the site planners, the hotel event staff and literally dozens of other vendors, while subtly nudging them all toward a coherent team effort with charm and finesse. I know from professional experience how much hard work goes into making things look easy. Often, it's the little touches that leave lasting impressions and fond memories. In the final, hectic minutes before we left the house for the ceremony, it was discovered that one of the wedding party did not have his specially matched tie (all of the ties had been ordered months in advance and couldn't be replaced.) Sarah made a matching tie "materialize" out of thin air ; always "Be Prepared" for any eventuality. She had saved a spare. Moments later, as we awaited the arrival of the shuttle, she noticed that my son, who was perspiring freely in the 90 degree heat, was in need of tee shirt to protect his dress shirt, she raced off and bought him one. And let me tell you, they bring their A game!     A little back story.... we did it all in 6 months. Our venue was beautiful but... they provide NOTHINGGGG and you can only get in to start setting up 2 hours before your time slot. We were a little over confident in our ability to make this work.  2 months before the date we were in full fledged panic mode realizing we couldn't do it on our own. We had talked with 2 other companies, prior to our scheduled meeting with Sandra and Michelle, that we both felt we really liked.... until we had our meeting with Sandra and Michelle. Our consultation with them lasted 1.5 hours! They were beyond thorough in asking questions so that they fully understood everything that was going on and so they knew exactly what we wanted. They also offered quite a few suggestions for things we never even thought of. We ended the meeting and both said, "and we thought we liked the other 2???" No comparison. We felt such relief after talking with them. I can't  even explain the weight they lifted off of our shoulders.  We hired them immediately!  Our next 2 meetings were equally as productive and made us feel so much more at ease with the situation.  We ended up hiring waitstaff thru them as well and they were phenomenal.   The day of came ( Sept 23rd, the day tropical cyclone 16 was headed into town ) We had to rearrange our entire set-up due to the rain. But we both felt no anxiety the entire day, and that was because we had full trust in Sandra and Michelle. We let them do their thing, knowing it would look amazing.  (We actually had no idea what the place even looked like before we walked in) They were there way before they had to be, they rearranged everything to be inside because of the rain, (like, a whole new floor plan on the spot) got everything set up and looking gorgeous. All in a tropical storm. Throughout the nite they constantly checked in with us, and our guests, asking if we needed anything. They went above and beyond every second of the night.  Perfect example... When i changed into my sneakers Sandra saw me, stopped what she was doing, picked up my foot and tied my shoes for me!! I seriously don't have the words to tell you how great they are.      They made our wedding absolutely incredible and 100% stress free. Doing that for any wedding is no easy feat, but ours had more than a few curve balls thrown in there. They kept everyone on schedule, made sure the entire bridal party was taken care of, and ensured the day flowed effortlessly from beginning to end. That peace of mind is exactly why, the moment I got engaged, Kim was my very first call. After my wedding, I was genuinely surprised to come across a review claiming that Kim and her team "scammed" a couple and provided poor service. That simply does not reflect what I have personally witnessed, now on two separate occasions. Looking through the many other reviews from happy couples, it's clear that my experience is consistent with the overwhelming majority. It's sad to see a single review that is so completely opposite of what so many others, including myself, have experienced. The services were so terrible that in the end, I felt scammed out of a lot of money. Even though we did hire day-of event planning, she was unresponsive throughout our entire planning process which was my first red flag. Even when we scheduled meetings she would never send a meeting link unless I asked. We were promised periodic meetings and they were not scheduled proactively by her. At one point I followed up asking about our Day 85 call and she never responded to me. In the end, a week before the wedding I had to schedule my own call with the vendors and add her, hoping she would join. Even on calls that I scheduled, I had to remind her when/where to join. Responses were delayed by weeks, if she even bothered to answer my emails, and constantly asked questions for things that we already covered. Then during the event itself, our venue staff complained about how they have never seen such poor service at any of their previous events. Kim forgot my bouquet at the time of the ceremony. We had to wait for her to go get it before walking down the aisle. They were unable to answer questions for the venue staff and made little effort to help them out, to the point they had to wake them up at 8:30PM to get their help transferring alcohol. They did not help pack up or take down decorations, assist guests, or check rooms for lost property. I did not even see or hear from them myself on the Sunday morning of my departure. There are many more examples that I personally have but I will avoid listing them all here. I hope that by writing this review I have helped someone else avoid hiring her as a wedding planner and feeling scammed as I did.

I received a list of vendors from our synagogue and called all of them. The only one that was genuinely willing to work with me was OnTheMarc. Amanda and Marc understood completely what we were trying to accomplish and our budgetary restrictions. I am not saying it was cheap in any way, but they worked with me to achieve the perfect combination of quality and ample food at a, at least fair and manageable price. And, I have to say the food selection was incredible. I cannot tell you how many of our guests commented about it. However, the experience with On the Marc was so much more than just that. The staff was ample and incredible. EVERYONE was attended to at all times. Jacqui, the on-site lead was not only helpful leading up to the event, but she was invaluable at the event. It took such a load off our shoulders knowing she was there. I would use OnTheMarc over and over again if I could and I recommend them wholeheartedly for any event. I cannot thank them enough for what they did. I didn't want to put on such an expensive affair, but they did something I didn't think was possible - made me happy I did it.
