The paper itself is free and available on most of the newspaper stacks that are near the doorways of most Asian businesses in Portland. Charles Hui has done Portland a good thing, providing the Chinese community with something more than SingTao or any national Chinese newspaper. Not long ago they released an English version of the paper, which is not as thorough as the Chinese version and is targeted to Asian Americans who may not be likely to read Chinese. On a whole, content is fairly basic and the writing is not as strong as it could be. Still, who can argue with a free paper? I hope things improve and they're able to scale out their distribution to the growing community of Chinese in Portland.

I would not come here for produce unless you really needed an insane amount of potatoes or onions unless you are going for frozen. A lot of things they just have one brand of and the prices seem pretty great. I liked that they have a huge bin of boxes so I grabbed a few to fill as I was shopping to make it even for me carrying it. I did not see the sign saying to form a line under it because it was a good eight feet up and I am super short. The cashiers seem to go back and forth between being really friendly and near hostile so that was jarring. It's a pretty busy store and also pretty large so you could spend a lot of time here as I feel like their stock is ever changing.

The magazine is only published every 2 months and trying to find one is like a needle in a haystack. I sent them an email inquiring as to when he would be in the magazine and where were the magazines and Vonnie responded, very helpful, very kind. BUT, when the final magazine for the contest came out, and he again was not in it, I emailed Vonnie again. This time she chose to ignore my astonishment. A wasted $10 plus the distance of travel to model my dog. Also, incidently, they don't choose cutest dog, but randomly pull name out of cup! Also want to let everyone know the contest they enter you in for a family Disneyland trip is a fraud! 4 months after giving "Spot" magazine all my info, I started getting calls that we won the vacation, only to do my homework and find out its a scam!
