I can't do business with Green Clean's owner, who sadly, has lacked candor and maturity in her dealings with me. I'm particularly disappointed that this lady made promises to me on the phone, then turned around and sent me a cowardly email reneging on her promises. Christina, the owner, had the audacity to tell me that our HOA was not worth her time. Customer service is not her strong suit, but shenanigans are. Frankly, the quality of services provided by Green Clean had slipped badly. During the past two months, the snotty prima donna attitude and "lick and a promise" cleanings were a major letdown. Oh, FYI - one of the filtered (but now unfiltered) reviews mentions that Green Clean's workers are NOT bonded. If I had known that previously, Green Clean never would have gotten our business.

I felt that their business policies were up front and out in the open. So I booked a clean with them to try them out. It only took about 10 minutes spent with Kasia to realize I was going to be a regular customer. Kasia is a star. Hard working, smart, respectful and unobtrusive. She was very attentive to what we wanted done but didn't require any handholding or micro-managing and after a quick walk through she was hard at work. Personally, I would say give them a try. Also, just as a side note. My contact with the owner has been very up front, professional and respectful.

The main problems were lack of communication (once just showed up at my house one morning with an hour's notice but I hadn't seen the text bc I was sleeping), lack of project/sub contractor management, and poor planning. I have a permanent temporary fix on the kitchen sink plumbing because the plumber was called in too late in the project. My cabinet, counter, and backsplash are all off by about 3 inches and I was just told to live with it. We also can barely fit the oven in the space allotted for it. In an effort to try to speed things along, I had paid a couple of subcontractors (chosen by my contractor) directly. I was then told that bc I paid them, he didnt have to manage that part of the project. Additional issues: tile was installed so that a large grout line was noticeable. I brought this to the contractor's attention and he said that once the excess was wiped up it would look good (not the case). It took some convincing to get him to fix it. At no point has the contractor apologized or even acknowledged that things haven't gone as planned. To be fair, a lot of the work looks very nice (minus what is mentioned above) which is why I did 2 stars instead of 1. I do NOT recommend hiring this company for contracting.

I contacted Next Step Northwest and communication was GREAT! They finished the job in less then half time then Home Depot Contractors. A plus is Northwest will Do the caulking as well! Where others will not. They did a better job than Home Depot contractors and I will be using them for my other projects in my home. Shayne and his employees are able to do plumbing, painting, kitchen remodels, anything you can think of, they can do! Also they are a great price. They cost the same as homedepot flooring with the install but Home Depot did not include caulking. Also trim looked AWFUL with Home Depot contractors. I Called around and getting estimates Shayne was better in price then other private contractors and local businesses. His team has great customer service, and can do pretty much anything! He takes pride in his work and goes the extra mile to ensure it looks great!!

The owner listened attentively to our specific service needs and correctly tailored her service to what we asked for. Another company we interviewed barely listened, ignored what we said, and just gave us a generic price sheet at the end of our walk-through. So this willingness to listen and give us exactly what we requested was very important to our long term service success. Then on day one of the first cleaning, they exceeded expectations, cleaning more thoroughly than any service we've used in the past. They also added lots of small little features; cleaning touches above and beyond the minimum that were not necessary, but just showed they take pride in their work. After the initial estimate, after we agreed to her service, the owner assured us we would be happy with their work and we'd be glad we chose her business. We've now used them twice. Both times cleaning exceeded expectations. Both times they left with cool extra touches that showed they cared. So I agree. We ARE glad we selected them and highly recommend them to others.
