My experience - saw a car on-line on his website that was priced way below market value. I called and Alex, the owner of the dealership, could only answer but very few questions about vehicle. He requested my information and driver's license, then sent me by email with a buyers' order on the car where he stated a 100% money back guarantee within 10 days upon purchase.
On his follow-up call, he insisted that I pay him the full amount asking price to go forward.
I told him I was not about to give him tens of thousands of dollars sight un-seen without first sending a vehicle inspector first. He kept referring to the money back guarantee as the safe guard and that after he had the money, if the inspection was not satisfactory, I could get my money back.
I refused and told him that I would have an inspector there the next day and if the car was as presented, I would wire the money.
The next day the inspector called me and said in 20 years of inspecting cars, he had never had a seller make more excuses of being too busy or was not available to show him the car!
I decided to do research. This entity is a Florida LLC (the dealership is in Barnhart Missouri) and when you Google the picture of supposed building, it is an office building, not a car lot.
