They looked effortlessly stylish, but with an edgy twist. They also looked 'priceless', as if they could have been any price. "Please be really cheap, please be really cheap", I prayed as I walked in. Unfortunately, all the clothes cost so much more than what I and my little budget was hoping for. But a girl can dream, and there was plenty to stoke my fantasies in here. The clothes seemed to be divided into 'concepts'. The fabrics all looked top quality; soft cotton, cashmere and velvet. The styles were feminine, but again, with that twist. There was a rock look, romantic, glam and Fe-Male. I spied a bag that I loved the look of, but it was £300.00. Most of the clothes were upwards of £100.00. Perhaps one day when I am living the rock chick lifestyle, with the money to match, I will come here and stock up my wardrobe.

I made a trip all the way across London on Tuesday morning only to find that they are not open Tuesday at all. Their hours are Thursday through Saturday 12-5, according to the sign on their shuttered storefront. Honestly, how difficult is it to keep your hours on Yelp up to date? That trip across London wasted 90 minutes.

The shop 'Dune' sells only female footwear and is found on one street.. .and round the corner from it, seperated by another property, is 'Dune Men'... that has a direct passageway through to the actual Dune shop. Interesting. However, I went in... ..and found myself in front of the most interesting trainers I have ever seen. I was about to whip out a camera to take a picture but I felt rather then heard the approach of a worker. She was very friendly and helpful, very kindly explaining why I should put my camera away RIGHT now. The trainer itself was kind of multicoloured with multiple velcro straps (my description doesn't do it justice.. nor does it make the trainers sound remotely desirable) but the colours were a tasteful faded hue.. ah they were lovely. They were pretty well priced as well, only £60, and they also did a few scarves and belts.. that kind of shop. The staff were very friendly however and they offered alot of help if I wanted to try anything on or make any enquiries. They were well versed in their jobs and when I make a bit of money I will be back to invest in the aforementioned trainers...
